Gee The One Serious Rider
This helmet is just what I've been looking for. I wear glasses and switching back and forth from clear to shades is a pain. Photo sensitive glasses don't change fast enough when going in and out of sun and shady spots on the road. The drop down sunshield takes care of this.

Scorpion EXO-100 Solid Helment
This is an excellent helmet. Great fit. Ear padding is removable for warmer days. Also is designed for a communication device. The face shield locks in the upright position, which is very handy. The chin strap loosens very easily for helmet removal, however I have to completely undo the strap to remove helmet. Perhaps the strap should be slightly longer. Good investment.

Still need goggles
I was really excited about this helmet. The review seems so good, but I am looking at buying another one. I hate that I still need to wear sunglasses with this, or goggles, because the visor absolutely does not block wind whatsoever. That was the only reason I bought this helmet. So now, I am looking to buy a full visor helmet to block wind/bugs, or a true, smaller half helmet with a good set of goggles. This seemed like a good idea, but is absolutely not worth the price.

Scorpion-EXO-100 Helmet
The helmet is well made and fits very well. I thought the drop down visor would be larger and drop down lower. It does not so I simply don't use it. I've acquired a pair of goggles that fit over my eye glasses and that works just fine. My wife also got one and she likes hers and always uses the visor. Wind noise is a big issue. I think that I will ultimately go with a full helmet.

Scorpion Helmet - good fit, finish, quality and features
My wife and I each got a Scorpion EXO-100 Solid Helmet. The helmets are really well made. The flip-down slide-away eye shield is very handy, and is available in various tints and colors. You can wear eyeglasses or sun glasses under it. We like the sun visor; it really helps when the sun is low in the sky. The zip away neck and ear protection gives you the option of an open helmet for warm weather and being able to hear traffic. Or with it on you can mount most helmet microphone/speaker headsets. The helmet seems safer than some other half helmets by virtue of slightly thicker padding. We're very happy with our choice of helmet for riding our new 2009 Road Glide.

I purchased this helmet specifically for a trip from VA to Sturgis, SD. It worked as I expected. I prefer a half helmet but do like the visor option. While no one helmet can fit all situations, this one is the best I've found as an all around one. I used it in high interstate speeds, rain, snow, sleet and hail while on this trip. My only negative thing is that I had a rather tough time attaching my HD headset. The mouthpiece will not completely reach the center of my mouth. This is a very good all around helmet.

Love the flipshield
Very comfortable helmet that has a flip shield. This is a great feature as you never know when you'll need more eye protection. The only downside is that the nose groove does not line up in the middle of your face.

Great Half Helmet
The best feature is the one touch retractable visor! I have been a full face helmet owner, including the flip-up helmet. However, my new Harley style needed a different helmet that was practical. The helmet fits about a size smaller than all helmets that I own. Very convenient, fits well, quality is on par with most mid-priced helmets. I would buy another EXO-100 without any hesitation!

Great Helmet!
I like this helmet very much! Very cool in hot weather. Fits great, the Scorpions are solid on your head and very comfortable (I have 3). The liner snaps out and is washable. This helmet is also DOT and Snell approved; as safe as you can get for a half helmet. The flip down face shield is pure genius!

awesome helmet
After years of riding with beanies, this helmet was a nice change. Very comfortable and the retractable sun shield is great. The fit is snug, but not too snug. My head measured with a tape is 23 1/2 inches, Scorpion size chart shows a large as being 23 1/2-24 inches. I ordered a large and it fits perfect, however, if my head was a sixteenth of an inch larger I would have to go to an extra large. If your head measures 24 inches you will definitely need an extra large. Overall, this is an excellent helmet, I even bought one for my wife. Well worth the price.

Love this helmet
I spent a lot of time researching helmets online because I didn't want to spend the money on a helmet and end up not wearing it. This helmet is very aerodynamic, even at speeds around 70mph I had no problems with lift or tugging at the chin strap. I did remove the visor though as I read that could cause a little drag and opens the vent for more airflow. The sun visor is just awesome! I love using it at higher speeds, and I want to order a clear visor for night riding. My only complaint about the helmet is that it comes low and you have to tuck your ears under. It does run a little big comparative to other manufacturers, I ordered the XS and will wear a bandana under to get a tighter fit.
I would definitely recommend this helmet.

I am 56 years old and started riding motorcycles at 11. This is the best helmet for the money I have ever owned. The retractable sun shield is awesome and the fit is perfect. It's not too heavy and the liner is very plush. A note about the fit. My head measures 23 1/2 inches with the tape snug around my head. I ordered a large (size chart shows large as 23 1/2-24) and it fits perfect. However, if my head measured 24 inches, I would definitely need an extra large. I will be ordering one of these helmets for my wife. Great helmet at a great price.

Scorpion-exo-100 solid helmet
First time for an open face helmet, moved to KY awhile back and due to the heat and humid weather I switched from a full face to the EXO-100, can breathe a lot easier. My wife has a problem breathing and this helmet makes it a lot easier for her to ride. Trips are more enjoyable when she can ride along... the personal and the fast shipping at Motorcycle superstore make them a pleasure to deal with.

Comfortable to wear. The pockets for the speakers are too low, positioning the speakers below your ears. There are workarounds. The retractable visor is great! Overall a very good helmet, if somewhat bulbous.

Scorpion EXO-100 Solid Helmet
I started riding only a short time ago and started out with an open face type helmet. Going to work in the AM was treacherous with the sun in my face most of the way. The flip down shield on the Scorpion EXO-100 was a great addition. The only problem I had with the helmet was the fact that I have a short forehead area which caused the helmet to set too low in my head and hurt my ears, so I inserted an auto wax application sponge in the top of the helmet which made the fit just perfect. I enjoy the helmet and the size fit was right on with the chart that is provided.

Great helmet!
I don't usually hear a helmet, but we were planning a 4000 mile trip to Yellowstone and back. With a 3 week time frame and the possibility of riding thru some states that had helmet laws, I bought the Scorpion EXO 100. We hit rain and cold the first day, and I slipped the helmet on basically to keep my head warm. Ended up wearing it 90% of the time after that. It's comfortable; the drop down shield is a mega bonus. When the sun pops out from behind a mountain, there is no fumbling around finding the sunglasses, just pop the visor down.

Flattened my ears
Great helmet, but it just did not fit. Flattened the tops of my ears. I went to a retail store and tried on other sizes with the same result. Don't have excessively large ears or problems with other helmets. Had to return it. That process was handled well.

I liked the concept of the retractable short face shield, but in actuality it wasn't long enough. I ended up returning this helmet. Also, I wear a Sml in my full face Shoei helmet and I would have needed an X-Sml in the Scorpion. Otherwise, it was of fine quality.

This is a good helmet but it is not good for bikes with no windshield as the flip down visor is really only a sunglass and not a wind block. High quality with a zip out liner for cold days to keep ears warm.

Great helmet
Good looking helmet that doesn't make me look too much like a "bubble head" and it's not too heavy, which is a plus. Fit was as shown on the chart; a bit too snug at first but after wearing for a couple of weeks the inside lining has compressed a bit so now the fit is perfect. The visor raises and lowers very easily but could be a bit longer. Wind noise is considerable; I end up wearing ear plugs (which I don't really mind). The visor makes for a nicer look but I've found that it catches the wind too much so I ended up removing it.

Scorpion Exo-100 Helmet
I'm a bit disappointed with this one, it looks great and the built in visor looks cool, but the sizing is off. I ordered a small after following the guidelines of the size chart. When I put it on it felt like a XS, very tight and it pinched my sunglasses to my temples. Allot of wind noise and it did have a tendency to try and blow off your head over 40mph. The built in visor was good but caused the wind to come under the visor and swirl in your face. If you order this I hope you don’t mind the noise and go one size up.

I reviewed just about all half helmets and found that this helmet had the features that I was looking for. A helmet I could strap on to basically run errands and good for long runs also on my cruiser. The retractable face shield has been one of the best features on this helmet. The helmet fits well, feels good and has great looks.

VERY IMPRESSED!
Just received my helmet yesterday. CAN'T WAIT TO GET THE BIKE OUT! My measurement was 22" and I ordered a small. Fits perfect. I wouldn't size up! The construction was very impressive. I would like to ride without a helmet but my husband doesn't want me to. I think this will not be as constricting as my full face but still protective. Received it in a few days. Paid $99 for this in yellow (I want to be seen). It's a good surprise for my whole family since we all have our own helmet. Quality and finish are top rate. Fit is snug, the visor/screen coming down nicely with no problem. Quality of the helmet shows right out of the box. My son has an Arai helmet at home and I see no different in quality, and I wonder myself is it just the price different?

Great low speed helmet.
I really like almost everything about this helmet. I ordered one for myself and then another for my wife. It's well constructed, comfortable, and warm with the neck liner in place and the internally retracting eye shield is a really cool feature and works well in conjunction with my prescription glasses. It's great for low to mid speed riding. My only complaint is that the helmet has a tendency to creep up at speeds greater than 50 MPH.

Quality Helmet
I like the helmet very much. The fit is excellent and the quality is very good. Very nice color finish. The red closely matches the candy apple red color of my bike. The only thing I would like better is if the pop down shield would extend down a little more toward the bridge of the nose. Other than that, I would give the helmet an excellent overall rating.

My 1st half helmet... awesome!
I've been a full face rider, as the benefits far outweigh the discomfort. However, I've changed my ride to a cruiser (suzuki m50) and needed something to fit my new ride. I bought this recently (Dec 08), and tested it on the one nice day we had this winter. It fits to size. Don’t' listen to the guys at helmet harbor on you tube, if I had bought it a size smaller it would NOT have fit my large size noggin! My head is 23" and large is on the money. The finish is stellar, and constructed very well. The visor changes very easily (i bought the amber & clear). It is a cool feature to pop down the visor, but it doesn't do a lot for wind as my eyes were tearing like a broken hearted lover! On warmer days, it will be fine. There is a very slight mushroom shape, but not bad at all compared to other half helmets (indicative of DOT approved helmets). The most stylish looking half helmet by far! The liner zips out easily, and the visor pulls out with no hassle. There is a convenient chin strap button, keeps it from flapping' around. It is pretty comfortable but not completely as my ears feel half squashed. To get a snug fit, you need to push down on the top of the helmet as you pull the chin straps. There is quite a bit of wind noise, and it may require ear plugs, but driving under 40 is manageable. In fact, my cobra pipes sound much louder in my full face than with the Exo100 (no place to echo). I would buy it again!

Scorpion - EXO-100 Solid Helmet
We purchased 2 of these helmets for my wife and me. Our intent was to use these when taking trips so we had the
benefit if the flip down face shield for rain situations and the ability to use the intercom . The flip down face shield was a great feature. We did not like the way the intercom had to be mounted and the speakers inserted into the zip on collar. After everything was installed ( speakers & mic ) the helmet felt like we were wearing a full helmet
Because the collar wrapped around onto our cheeks. These helmets were a little on the heavy side also. We returned both helmets. On a positive note the return process with Motorcycle Superstores is awesome and will be ordering in the future.

Being the owner of a new scooter (doing my part to conserve our resources) and enjoying it greatly. I believe in the safety of a helmet and after looking around for one I saw the 100 with the flip up shield and it works great if I want to ride with the glasses I put it up but on cold PA mornings the protection with it down is great.

Good value and quality
This helmet is a good value for the quality and features you receive. You can pay as much for helmets without the features this one has. The drop down visor is a major plus for most users. The zip in ear flaps has a place to hide the wires for a microphone and speakers. A nice feature if you need to use it. The only negative I have found is the fit over the ear is too tight and the depth of the helmet flattens the top of your ears. If you wear glasses it puts too much pressure on the earpiece of the glasses which causes pain behind the ears after a short time.

Nice helmet, comfortable. The pop down shade is nice. The only thing I noticed was the visor would "squeak" at speed. There are three "bumps" I assume from molding, and one was rubbing, I filed it ever so slightly and it quit. Took awhile to figure out where the noise was coming from. I recommend this helmet. I also have an EXO-400, there are great helmets especially for the price.

Very happy with the Scorpion
This helmet gets a lot of looks. I ordered a large and it is a snug fit, but after a month it has shaped itself very well to my head with very little movement even at high speeds. The disappearing shield lets some wind in, but it is easier to use than most flip up styles. Because of the wind, it is a helmet that works best under 50 mph. The gloss finish seems well applied. Worth the price.

Great Helmet !! Just ONE PROBLEM!
I love how the visor works and its a great helmet. I show it off to all my friends. However the snap on the neck liner at the front of the helmet came unhitched from the helmet side the first day didn't appear to be well attached from the start.

Scorpion - EXO-100 Solid Helmet
Great helmet and the retractable visor is a definite plus. The only improvement would be if the free end of the chin strap could fasten to the right of the D-rings rather than the left after it is fastened (it interferes with the collar of my coat). However, this appears to be a fairly standard design feature as I have looked at a lot of other helmets and they all fasten the same way. I would definitely buy this helmet again.

I have found this helmet to be very comfortable to wear for long periods of time (6 hours +). I really like the click down sun shades. It allows me to wear my clear eye glasses, but when it's sunny just a click of the button gives me shades.

Bad Liner Alignment
Purchased two identical white EXO-100's, and both have misaligned liners which causes the shell and sun visor to sit twisted on our heads. Wouldn't be bad except when the visor comes down the nose cutout is about an inch to the right of the center of the wearers nose, which can be very bothersome.

This is my second Scorpion helmet. I had an EXO 200 and really liked it until it was stolen. I ordered the EXO 100 for summer riding. I am a newbie rider and can't compare this helmet to another brand, but can't imagine buying any other brand. I love the flip down visor and all the other features this helmet offers.

I like the helmet but it runs on the larger side. I wear an XXL on a full face helmet so I ordered an XXL scorpion exo-100. It was just a bit large. The good thing is the liner can be changed out an about 3 seconds. I ordered the XL liner, switched it out and now it's good.

I purchase the gloss black EXO*100 and I recommend this helmet to everyone. This is best helmet I have ever owned. Aside from the great Terminator look with the visor down, it is the most comfortable helmet you will ever wear in warm or cold weather. Buy the clear visor for night rides. Very easy to remove and replace.
