Low quality, helmet started to come apart after a month!
I bought this helmet last Nov 2010 and after only about a month, the black flexible plastic piece that wraps around the bottom started to peel off. It seems like the adhesive that was used cannot keep this collar piece glued onto the helmet shell.
I showed it to the dealer and had him contact Scorpion for a replacement. After about 2 months, he was told by Scorpion that it would not be possible since they stopped producing these helmets. I would have to pay for shipping the helmet back to Scorpion in California, then have Scorpion inspect and decide if they were going to fix it. The dealer then offered me the option of a refund or a discount on another helmet which I was very appreciative of.
They may look good but have very poor quality. I would say definitely not worth wasting your time and money on!

Great helmet, but anti fog turns to watery moisture
Have the same experience as Felix from TX, the anit-fog works pretty well but within 5-10 min the fog has condensed to liquid, accumulates and runs down the inside of the face shield, which in the end is worse than fog because you cannot easily and quickly clear it by opening the shield to the air for a few seconds, you have to leave open for like a minute or stop and wipe it off. As for size, this helmet is likely to be VERY VERY tight on you for the 1st 300-500 mi but then will break in. I wear a L in Shoei and the L in the EXO about squeezed my head to pop, but it now fits great. If you try on a helmet that's been a floor model for a while you will see how it breaks in, if you try on an XL you will see how loose it can get over time with wear and judge which size is best for you.

Great Helmet, but...
Got this helmet about a week ago and have put about 300 miles on it. I fit a 7 5/8ths fitted cap and got the XL size Exo helmet. It fits great. I have a size L Bell helmet that fits ok but wants to fly off my head, this one stays on and sits very well. I love the features and I LOVE this helmet, especially for the price. The only bad thing, the ONLY thing, is that the anti-fog system kinda blows. Sure, it keeps the face-shield from fogging up, but after about 20 minutes of riding the face-shield will accumulate moisture from the fog and it will get all watery, causing poor visibility. I end up having to wipe it down every time i stop. The flip down visor is pretty cool, but nowhere near dark enough. If you can find a way to strip the tint and apply a darker one, let me know. The sun was in my face and I’m still squinting with the visor down. But overall, this helmet gets an A+, mostly for its features and price tag.

Great Helmet - Lots of features
This is my first helmet I have purchased (to accompany the first motorcycle I have, 2002 CBR 600 F4I). I must of have done about 10 hours of research before picking this helmet. I didn’t have the budget to go out and spend $500 on a lid, but I also didn't want to get a cheap helmet either. Firstly I was attracted to the look of the helmet. Its really sleek looking. Second the amount of features you get with this helmet, for the price, is something no other helmet has. It has the flip down sun visor which in my eyes is just bad-a$$. It also has an internal pump (reminds of me the pump shoes when I was a kid) that inflates the cheek pads to provide a more snug fit if needed. It has numerous vents which actually work too! I finally decided to purchase the helmet and have used it for about 1200 miles so far. The wind noise is minimal and I never even think about it. The main visor never fogs up. The only thing is the flip down internal visor does not have the fog coating so that can fog up. I sprayed some defogging spray on it and it fixed the problem. It would be great if the internal visor had the Everclear technology on it...Some people say the helmet is heavy. To this I say it is heavier than some helmets, but its also lighter than a lot of others out there. I have never felt my neck being tired or anything related to that...This is a great helmet and I am 110% satisfied with picking the EXO-1000.

Great overall helmet for the money
The fit of the helmet is great, and much more comfortable than the last helmet I owned which started giving me a headache after about 45 minutes. I've ridden 3-4 hours with this helmet with no issues. The inflatable air bladder in the cheek padding helps you get the fit just right. The visor controls take some getting used to and are not intuitive right away, but once you know where they are, they are easy to use. The flip down sun visor is ok, but I wish it went down a little bit further. The lever to lock the visor partially lifted is great, as it lets in a lot of air without getting in your eyes. The air vents are great and you can feel the air moving through the top of the helmet, and the one in front keeps the inside of the visor defogged even in the rain. For the price, you can't go wrong with this helmet.

Its pretty good
Overall the helmet is pretty good. The thing I don’t really like about it is that the shell is quite bigger than other helmets, makes your head look big. The fit is really snug, I suggest you try them on before you purchase.

Scorpion EXO-1000 Apollo Helmet
This helmet, although a pretty good helmet overall, was not quite as great as I had hoped for. I own several other Scorpion products and love all of them. Scorpion's quality is second to none in my opinion, but this helmet could use a little redesigning. The chin strap is set too far back in my opinion. It really bothers me and I end up having to wear it a little looser than I would like to. The wind noise is also pretty substantial, and the quick releasing outer face shield is not all that easy to get off and on. The ear pockets are also a bit out of place and the back of my ear ends up getting sandwiched instead of resting inside the pocket as it should. Although I feel that Scorpion could use going back to the drawing board on this one, I definitely feel that they make good quality products as a whole.

Almost awesome, but annoying
The helmet fits great and has boat loads of features that you just don't find in this price range, but that comes with it's downsides (these are my experiences, I don't know if others have the same issues). The inside sun visor doesn't retract fully into the helmet after around 30 uses. It gets almost there, but there's always about an 1/8" of plastic at the top of my field of view that's annoying. When it rains, water comes in through the top vents (even if they're closed) and drips down the sun shade onto my face. And after riding in the rain from NYC to D.C. the rubber molding around the bottom of the helmet has come almost entirely unglued. Overall, if I can fix the molding with some waterproof epoxy, this helmet will be totally worth every penny. Feature-wise, a comparable Suomy or Arai is around twice as expensive.

Scorpion Apollo Helmet
Good helmet overall. Fits a little snug at first, takes a couple hundred miles to break in and is very comfortable now. The molding on the side is coming off a little but nothing is perfect. Great breathability while you’re riding...and the inside shades are awesome, you can put down and put up in the flick of a switch.
