  • Relaxed Round Oval fit: Similar to the Quantum series "Round Oval" fit but not as pronounced
  • "Delta-3" top center intake scoop, scavenges more air to help improve airflow even further
  • Shell incorporates a reduced gap between the shield and shell to minimize wind turbulence over the shield and onto the shell
  • Chin vent design, with dual-pivot hinge mechanism, allows for a more easily operable single span vent gate with an increased airflow capacity
  • Enhanced organic shell shape, bottom trim and (non-removable) neck roll which curve in at the bottom to give a more natural appearance, which also helps minimize wind turbulence
  • Rubber breath guard, designed to better direct fresh air to the inside surface of the shield while at the same time directing hot breath down and away from the inside surface of the shield
  • SNC "Structural Net Composite" shell construction, utilizes a patented shell construction that incorporates a structural net reinforcing material, embedded between Arai's® exclusive Super complex laminated construction layers, which improves resistance to shearing forces. This allows for more weight to be removed from the top of the shell, both reducing overall helmet weight and improving the center of gravity
  • Shell mold features to strengthen the shell, enhance airflow and overall appearance
  • Type-8 diffuser design with redesigned and improved intake and exhaust ports to both improve airflow and reduce wind turbulence
  • "Dry-CoolTM" liner material, with a rich color and perforated satin feel, utilizes water cells to improve moisture and heat transfer from your head into the airflow around Arai's® unique space frame liner. Leaves your head dryer and cooler at the end of a long or hot ride and allows the liner to dry much faster in between rides. Dimensions and mounting method of both the cheek pads and head liner are the same as previous RX-7RR series. Removable liner/cheek pads.
  • SAJ side pods have a lower profile and are much more flush with the shell of the helmet to provide a much cleaner look

Raz Lakeland,  CA Good, not great I owned Arai & Shoei helmets. The faceshield is easier to remove now than my previous model was. Hopefully the side plates are more durable. DO sit down w/ your owner's manual for a minute and get to know your helmet. Practice on your sofa w/ the shield lock and basic helmet operation so you can concentrate on the road & not your helmet. Shield lock is a little sketchy as the vent position is vague. The liner seemed a little thin for a helmet this price.

DPark York,  IL Awesome Helmet!!!!! This is the best helmet I have ever owned. I have had Shoei, HJC and others and the comfort level alone is an amazing difference. It is definitely worth the extra money if you ride alot!! 5 stars and I will never own another helmet other than Arai!!

Ken Youngstown,  IL Shield Covers/Pods For the money of this helmet I am a bit disappointed. Be aware if you change visors a lot, you will be buying new shield covers/side pods on a regular basis. It's a poor, overly complicated design. The tabs break off on the pods and these are what hold your visor in place. Great comfort on helmet and great ventilation. Disappointed in shield replacement system. Will not buy another Arai helmet.

matt Columbia City,  FL arai rx7 This is the best helmet out there. I love how light it is and how well it fits. It's extremely comfortable and well worth the money. Like they say; if you've got a 5 dollar head buy a 5 dollar helmet. In the helmet world you get what you pay for.
