John Waller,  TX Suomy Nomad: Noisy, Hot, Tight & Faceshield Peeling! I read the previous reviews before I bought it. Those influenced my decision, so I ordered the next larger size. After a month it's still quite snug. Airflow is so miniscule I feel like I was lied to. The wind noise is huge even behind the BMW K1200LT windshield. There is a thin plastic coating inside the faceshield that is now peeling in three places and I only clean it with soaking wet, soft cloth. The corny hinge covers pop off at the most inopportune times and can be rather persnikity to reattach. The fastening straps are so short there is no need for the red snap on the end of the strap whatsover. The manufacturing date inside the shell is 2005. Now I think I know why it sat on the shelf for four years.

Dan Reading,  PA Good helmet I have had the Nomad helmet for about a month. There is great air flow and with your head pointed forward there is little wind noise or lift from underneath. Turning your head to the side does cause a noticeable difference when going above 50. Overall I like the helmet and the silver finish is first class.

Jess Chino Hills,  CA Awesome I bought this helmet to get the cold off my face. That is exactly what this does AND to my surprise, I no longer have my head buffeted by the wind. I was going to buy lowers to reduce the wind but this GREAT helmet completely reduced that need. I have a big head and was concerned that the XXL might not fit. Well, it did and I love it! I would buy this again in a heartbeat!

Jess Chino Hills,  CA So far, so good. I just got my helmet from Motorcycle Superstore. I have a big head and was concerned about the fit. People said to buy a size larger. I bought the 2X-Large and it fits great! I was worried that it might not fit. I mainly bought this to keep the cold out of my face. I normally wear a half helmet, but I hate the cold. I have never worn this much helmet before and was concerned about visibility limitations and sound limitations. The were NO problems. I am VERY happy with this product.

David san jose,  CA BUY THIS HELMET! This is the best open face helmet. Don't buy others buy this one! AFX brand sucks compared to Suomy. Interior of this helmet is soft and comfy! Less wind noise than AFX. If you size yourself with the helmet size chart, make sure you buy one size bigger than you normally wear!!! Ok enough typing, I'm going riding now!

Donald Woodson Valley Center,  CA Suomy - Nomad Helmet This is the best helmet I have ever owned and I have worn many name brands and every style out there (Bennie, Half, Open Face, Full Face). It comes the closest of anything I've worn to not wearing a helmet at all, the most 'open feeling' of any kind. Still prefer to ride without a helmet and do when I can, but if I have to wear one this is the one I wear. The feature I like best is that it is not Snell rated, the BSI or European standards are much superior.
