Malcolm Glasgow,  KY good helmet The vents could be bigger, but they do let some air flow thru. If it is hot outside, you will be flipping up the visor every time you stop. Helmet looks great. It fits a little smaller than the Bells I was looking at, but it did fit.

Evan Honeoye Falls,  NY Cheap Quality for Cheap Price What can I say; I got this helmet for $60. I pulled it out of the box, and my first impressions were that it was a pretty good looking helmet. However, the quality is dismal. The face shield feels like it's going to fall off, and has virtually no noticeable detents except for closed. The liner is thin and padding is minimal, and the vents are pretty much just sales gimmicks. As for cost benefit, I only bought this helmet for a rider and not for myself, so as long as it keeps their noggin intact, I'm happy.

robert gulfport,  MS yellow Z1R helmet Great helmet for the price. Downside is there’s not too much for ventilation. As in there’s like none. Definitely not a good helmet for high heat riding unless you can leave the shield up. But you can't beat it for the price and it looks great with my yellow triumph Daytona.

CJ woodinville,  WA Good helmet for the money At the sale price and cool design this was the perfect helmet to buy for my girlfriend. The downside to it was the fit was definitely NOT as the measurements would suggest because the helmet is a deeper oval shape than most and the pads are thin. I had her try on many different brands, sizes, and styles of helmets so I definitely knew what fit her- and based the size of this helmet on that but it was a full size too big. Vents and padding are minimal, and it's only DOT not DOT/Snell, but otherwise a good buy for the money.

Michael Carpentieri Havre de Grace,  MD Z1R Strike Star Helmet Bought helmet only after reading reviews and speaking with friends that owned Z1Rs. Fit is good. Low wind noise with supplied clear shield. Very good helmet for the price. Only downfall, manual system to replace shields. Be sure to have something to unscrew side plates that hold shield in place.

Ray Shirley Trenton,  MO Z1R Strike Star Helmet It is a good buy, fogs a little bit but not too bad, the stitching on the rear padding started to come off the very first day I had got it, graphics are great, it is great for beginners but you might want to move on to a better quality after a while, I think the quality is not all that great, heck you pay $60.00 for it what do you expect.

Mike Benko Palm Harbor,  FL Z1R Strike Star Helmet Great, looks hot, matches my bike and is light weight. The finish is spot on, though I don't think it fits my head as well as my last Scorpion, but I may just have a different shaped head lol. The vents don't work terribly well on those hot Florida summer days and the screen fogs pretty badly when I'm not moving, but no more than most without a nose shield I guess. I feel like it will hold up well and was great for the money, considering it was voted best helmet available when Cycle World .For the money, 5 out of 5!
