This is a very nice helmet, vented and more importantly wicking material which was very noticeable right away. It comes with a zip in neck and ear protector which makes it a winter helmet too, far better than the average cheap velcro in or snap on ear pads. This one is leather or mock leather, lined, and one piece zip in. The earphone pockets were too small for the headsets we have, but they mounted directly, easily to the neck/ear protector. Colors are great with a nice design on this model

Great helmet. I was looking for a half helmet that didn't lift after having had a THH that was dreadful, it ripped my head off. This one stays firm even at 80 mph. Fits like a glove. It has a zip-off skirt that reduces some of the noise and can accommodate earphones.

Super value for the money. We would have had to pay almost 3x's as much to match this helmet in our local shops. Black for me, pearl for the wife. No logos to spoil the look, vented, quality zip out liner, clear coat finish, the one and only little nit I have was the lack of padding on the top of the head, but for the price...get real!

I spent several months searching all over New York state for a helmet at what seemed like every motorcyle shop. I started thinking I had the largest head on the planet. Finally, I spoke with someone who explained that most helmets are designed for an "oval" head whereas, mine is rounder. He recommended GMAX for a helmet that would actually fit my dome. I searched the website and finally ordered the GM35X half helmt (2XL) I live in the land of the yankie four seasons and this helmet fits the bill for all of them. I would like to say that I'm extremely happy with the price, quality, service and most importantly.... the fit Thank you Gmax for thinking about us cavemen.

I have had this helmet most of the summer now, and I LOVE it! I'm not a real big guy, 6ft 160lbs. and the fit is accurate to the sizing chart. The Gmax quality is really nice, spot on for a great open, summer lid. Glasses, goggles, do-rag, no problem, it even fits inside my hard saddles. Motorcycle Superstore is the best, they stand behind what they sell, and they really work to make things right when needed. Great helmet great store.

This helmet fits snug and the first few times it is uncomfortable but if you allow the padding time to conform to your head it fits well and is actually comfortable. Although I only ride a small 50cc scooter, I must wear it at all times due to medical reasons where a chance blow to the head could possibly occur. Because of being lightweight, I end up wearing it for more things than just a putt on the scoot.

This is a great helmet...price is right, looks great, keeps head fairly cool when its hot, not too heavy and if you get the strap synched nice and tight the helmet doesn't move at all at high speeds. My only complaint is that the strap could be just a couple inches longer.

Helmet fits really well and doesn't rise when at highway speeds. The matte black finish is nice but doesn't protect against scratches, so be prepared for that. This helmet includes a visor, ear warmers, and a pair of air vents, so for a half helmet it has a lot of features. For the money this helmet is hard to beat.

This helmet fits my head better than most other manufacturers helmets do, and at a price that didn't break my wallet. The only gripe I had was that the visor was missing from the box. Motorcycle Superstore shipped me one, but when I tried to remove the HJC visor that I was using with the new helmet, I ripped the center snap right off the helmet. You would think that companies would make that area a little stronger... Great helmet though; just be careful when you have to replace a visor!

I already have this helmet and wanted another one just like it as mine has seen a lot of use over that past few years. My old helmet is still useable but I wanted another one to use if mine broke or whatever. The fit and finish is what I like about this helmet so it was what I wanted (no guessing). It's not too heavy and the curtain helps muffle outside noises especially while wearing my ear buds and listening to my MP3 player. All in all...I'm happy with it!

Just received the helmet and I must say the sizing chart was spot on. Helmet fits perfectly and for the $$ it seems to be a great deal. I get all the features I wanted at 1/2 the price I expected to have to pay. Not sure of the durability aspect as I have just received and currently not riding due to weather constraints (gotta love the Northeast!) so do not read into the durability rating, just not sure how that will be. Over-all, very pleased so far.

Bought this helmet for hot weather riding, so far it has been really good except the fit is a little loose. Normally wear a medium but read other ratings and said it ran large so I bought a small and it's still a little big. Wife's helmet is just right. I always knew she had a bigger noggin. Overall a very nice helmet. I have dirtbike, cruiser, adventure riding, modular helmets. This half helmet is very comfortable and well made, but like so many other half helmets, you look like a bobble head. That said I have a slim frame, someone with a heavier build would offset that bobble head look. For the mula, a nice helmet. Its my backup and passenger helmet, part of riding is lookin good, this helmet just doesnt do it for me

I bought it loose because of the minimal amount of padding that is able to be used over the top. I really like the style and comfort of the half helmet. I bought a full face about a month before I bought this helmet. I felt very constricted in it. I lost ALL peripheral vision with it. I am able to see all around with this helmet. The zip in neck liner helps on cool mornings. It was an excellent price also.

Great helmet for the price! Wish the zipper wasn't so prominent when neck piece is removed but otherwise I really like it. No lifting of the helmet at speed. Not sure what the purpose of a vent is on a half helmet is but it has one and I couldn't tell the difference between open or closed when riding? The sizing was perfect and the helmet is quite comfortable. I bought the naked version as well since this one was so well put together!

I found these 1/2 helmets fit a little loose in med size and little tight in small size. Both came down too far resting on the top of the ears pushing ears out. I had to compress the hard padding down to make a better fit for the ears. I have a full-face, 3/4 and 1/2 and the most comfortable is the 3/4 but 1/2 will be much cooler. Also wind noise could be cut down if fit closer on sides. I have not used the curtain for ears and neck yet, so I can't comment on these.

The helmet looks great but the padding is way too much. Looks like a bucket when its on, but does the job. A little on the uncomfortable side. The padding is for an oval-shaped. My head is not shaped like an egg, I would send it back but have worn it trying to make it work so I guess I'm stuck with it. I wouldn't buy something like this again online without trying it on to see if it fit right-too may things to get right.

Overall this is a nice helmet. I don't like the flat D-style rings on the chin strap. Could be that I am old-fashioned in what I like in a helmet. The fit is rather tight but I expect that after wearing a few times it will fit a bit looser as most do and will be more comfortable. All my helmets have had to do this.

The fit is spot on. The finish is good. Who knows about the durability. I wonder if I shouldn't have bought a helmet that accommodates a full face visor. My first few rides were plagued with bugs and a few suicidal birds that made me wonder if I didn't need a face shield. The cost to benefit is good, but in my search of a cool helmet made me forget about face/eye protection.

Nice product, well made. Was between sizes and opted for the large rather than XL. A little snug on the sides but I pressed in the edge of the foam liner w/my fingers slightly for a comfortable fit. Worn it on 2-3 rides, no problem. Also, the zip in liner is better than on other models I've seen.
