Bruce Waukesha,  WI Shoei - RF-1000 Nice helmet. Light weight and very comfortable fit except a little pressure on my forehead after having it on for 3 or more hours. Venting would probably work better on a sport bike where there is more wind at the head but I ride a Goldwing so it does get a little warm. Put in Edsets communication system so me and my SO can talk and listen to music on long rides. I did a custom flush mounted install and it was a breeze. Would purchase again.

Kruntal Kennett square,  PA RF-1000 Great helmet. Fit perfect. Cheek pads on the medium size are standard 35 mm thick. Too thick for my cheeks, so I wear without the cheek pads for now. A 31 mm (std for larger sizes) would have been nice on the medium too. At least there should have been a choice for the cheek pad sizes, though may be same case for any helmet. Rides very quiet, well ventilated. Strongly recommend.

Sam Reich miami Beach,  FL Nice I was used to an open face helmet- so it took some getting used to. And when going slow in the city you have to open the face shield so it doesn't fog up. But when you get on the highway and let her rip- this helmet can't be beat- it remains cool- no more fogging- and is nicely aerodynamic.

Matt McFarland Salem,  NJ RF-1000 great choice I finally upgraded from my old RF700 and couldn’t be happier. I ride a BMW R1100R with no shield & the wind noise is dramatically less than the old RF700. The price broke my heart, but you get what you pay for – I recently sent back a lower end AGV due to wind noise. I’m really happy with the AXIS YELLOW too – I’ve gotten quite a few positive comments on the high visibility color.

C Nielson New Paltz,  NY Good helmet Overall, the best helmet for the cost. Not as good as some of the higher end helmets, but the price isn't as astronomical either.
