Great helmet, Vents are slightly noisy, Fogs easliy
To be critical...
The vent in the front which is supposed to eliminate the visor fogging only marginally works when you're at or above 70mph and all the back vents are completely open. Wish there were a way I could crack the visor only 1/4 of an inch. It’s either completely closed or 1 inch open.
Color scheme is good. Anthracite helmet looks good but isn’t overly flashy like other helmets.
Granted, it is winter right now. Probably wouldn’t have a problem with the visor fogging in the summer when the weather isn’t cold.
Overall very satisfied with this helmet!

Honestly, I didn't pick it out. It was on my son's wish list with an Amazon link to your store. He had been to a motorcycle shop and picked what he wanted and size then went on the internet to find the best deal. You won. I was amazed at the turn around time after ordering. Great Fit
Helmets are an entirely personal choice, with comfort/fit based more on skull shape than anything else. My experience with helmets includes a Scorpion which I needed to fit as an XL to be able to stand it; I bought the Shoei in a medium and got a snug, comfortable, close fit, which I believe to be perfect.

Great product
I have had Shoei helmets for the last 8 years. I must say that as far as fit and design they are the best I've had. Newer models are usually pricey, but I think the quality is totally worth it.

Shoei RF 1000
The helmet got here sooner than expected as did the tire a few months ago. Same brand same sizing, slightly different shell and accoutrements. Fit is perfect, as expected. Finish is also. Only about two hours of use, it's been raining and we had a trip to endure in the "VAN," so there is no way to evaluate the durability. As far as features, I wish they could find a way to get more air inside for us who ride behind a shield. This one's better than the old TZ-R, but still fogs up when cool, which it is mostly in NW WA. Couldn't have afforded the needed replacement without the great break for end of season. The color is astonishing! Motorcycle Superstore is the max! and neighbors too. THANKS.

Good Helmet
My wife received this helmet Friday afternoon, Friday night we left for our 799 mile trip. This is the most comfortable helmet she ever wore. The sizes run a little big. I gave it a 3 for features because fogging seem to be an issue on cool damp mornings and evenings. Crack the visor and it helps a little. Shoei needs to work on this fogging problem. My Arai very seldom fogs under the same circumstances. Overall the Shoei RF-1000 is a good quality helmet and worth the couple of extra bucks.

My first full face helmet, so take it with a grain of salt.
I rode a thousand miles across the country in this helmet. Very comfortable, nice ventilation. It fogs up in the morning, but it has a switch to crack the visor, and it works. This was my first helmet, so I don't have a reference point on noise, but I didn't think it was bad. I'd buy another one.

Nice helmet but noisy. I am wearing it a few months now. I'm a little disappointed because my last helmet - an old UVEX 4000 - was far better than this one (it had double anti-fog shield, quick release, better ventilation, etc.). Anyway...
