Charlie Coatesville,  PA Great helmet for the price!!! I got this for my wife on a closeout...What a deal...It is much nicer that the helmet I paid $200 for a few years ago. It fits her nicely and looks pretty comfy inside. She is very happy. I only gave the finish a 4 as it (paint) is not perfect, but I didn't expect a perfect finish at this price. Overall a great value.

Fred W Londonderry,  NH Bargain Helmet Several years ago I bought a pair of KBC VR1 helmets for my wife and I. I liked them so much I bought myself a new one on clearance and picked one up for my son as well. The helmet is very comfortable. Has OK airflow (not the best) and a good shield system. Entire liner can be removed for washing (an important feature). I am keeping my old one for winter use with a balaclava, as the foam liner is starting to get a bit loose from extended use. My wife's is still going strong since she doesn't ride as much as I do. Highly recommended. I am in between a size M and L on the size charts with a head circumference of 23". The size M that I bought for my son is too small for me, but the size L fits me just fine. As a point of reference, I can fit into a size M in HJC AC-12 helmet, which is my other current helmet.
