Good Helmet with added feature not available in the CL-14
I wore the CL-14 for the last 4 1/2 years. The CL-15 I just purchased has replaceable head padding that was not available with the CL-14. The padding seems to deteriorate after several years and replaceable and washable padding helps to length the life and improves hygene of the interior. The vents work well and seem to be an improvement also. The HJC Breathbox for CL-15 helmet is really great on cold and rainy days to prevent fogging of the face shield. I highly recommend purchasing both items together.

First timer
I like this helmet so far other than the wind noise is a little more than I thought it would be. I am a first time rider so I could be wrong. Also don’t care for the fact that the levels at which the face shield moves, the notch where I would want it to sit at half open is EXACTLY in my line of vision. Other than that I think it's great.

This is my second one!
I cheated. I knew exactly what I was getting, because I've owned a CL-15 helmet before. I got a new bike (Silver metallic and black) and wanted a helmet to match. So, I ordered the silver metallic CL-15. No complaints here. It fits my head good, but all heads are different. The vents work well, the strap works fine, and you can remove the pads inside to clean them. They just snap out and in. The face shield flips up (good mechanism) so I can put my prescription glasses on with no problem. What else can I say. Hope this helps. Oh, BTW, fast shipping and good service. Thanks!

CL 15 HJC Helmet
I'm a beginning rider - just got my bike a month ago. I decided on a full faced helmet and shopped around for a model that was both SNELL and DOT. My experience with the helmet has been nothing but positive. I can't rate it too high because I've never ridden with another full faced helmet before, but from my limited experience, it seems to be a great deal for both price and comfort.

Great full face helmet
The fit is perfect right out of the box. The vents are easy to operate even while gloved. The chin strap snap keeps the "tail" out of the way and is very comfortable even when cinched in tight. The finish had a very small bubble in it, but not worth returning for. I think it is great value for the money and I plan on getting another one for the wife as well. The stowage bag that came with it was a great bonus too!

Great Helmet
I have had this helmet for two years now. I am in the process of buying a new helmet to match the color of my new bike (FZ1). Hopefully this review helps someone trying to make a decision. This helmet has fit me very well from day one, and that hasn't changed over the last two years. The shield works fine, although I do ride with it up wearing safety glasses (I only put it down when the bugs get bad). The finish has held up well and I have been pleased with it. There is a fair amount of noise with the shield up or down at highway speed, but it's fine when wearing earplugs. I am now buying an FS-15 helmet, but only because the CL-15 does not come in the color Anthracite (if it did I would buy another one). If you are looking for a good helmet that will last and you don't want to spend a whole lot of money, this helmet is it.

Great Helmet
I received my helmet about a month ago. It fits extremely well. I am very pleased with the comfort and the looks also. I do not own a motorcycle but I do own a scooter in which this is why I purchased it. I use it every time that I ride my scooter. I feel confident that this helmet will provide the safety for my head incase an accident occurs. I searched the internet for about 5 hours and I decided that this website explained the type of helmet that I needed and was within my price range and DOT approved. Good Helmet But Noisy
At interstate speeds this helmet is quite noisy. The visor in the half way position is right at eye level. I have found the visor will open about 1/8”-1/4” and wind noise is reduced enormously and aides in ventilation. I found the actual ventilation openings work quite well. A smoke visor on the metallic silver helmet I bought does look pretty good also. For the price you get a DOT/SNELL approved helmet which overall is a pretty good helmet. I would probably buy another.

Great helmet for the money

CAUTION: 2-stage shield
I bought this thinking this is what my wife had, but she has the CL-14 model, which is WAY better. What I hate about this helmet is the 2-stage shield: it opens halfway (in line-of-sight), and all the way up. You can't crack it open to get extra flow when it's hot. Other than that, it's ok.

HJC CL15 Helmet
I've been riding a little over 35 years. I recently bought a CL15 looking to get my son an inexpensive helmet of good quality. My helmets have traditionally been Arai.
I was surprised to find it is an exceptional helmet for the money. It is not only comfortable but has exceptional venting. The snap on fast release lenses system is a breeze to use and the design allows for superior side vision.
I liked it so much I bought a second for myself.

HJC CL-15 Helmet
I purchased this to replace an HJC CL-12 helmet and I'm very pleased. This helmet is lighter than the other one. The color is what the picture on the website depicted. It doesn't fog up at all like my other one did when riding at night or in humid conditions. I'm very pleased with it.
