Mac Las Cruces,  NM Good Deal Probably the cheapest Snell-rated helmet out there, which is why I bought it. Nothing fancy about it, just a plain ol' helmet, which is what I wanted. Can't say much about durability at this point, but the padding seems sturdy enough. Mushroom head is an issue in the looks department, but when is it not? Anyway, great price for a Snell-rated helmet. 'Nuff said.

John Bailey Leander,  TX CL15 is a great value! I bought this HJC CL-15 to replace my CL-10. My CL-10s are at least 10 years old so I figured it was time. I think I paid less for the CL-15 than I did for the CL-10. The CL-15 has much better ventilation and is significantly quieter than the CL-10. HJCs fit my head better than anything else I've worn including Shoei and Arai. This one is no different. My only gripe is the CL-15 has less chin room than the CL-10. I have a "Lenoesque" chin so this is important. I also bought a CL-SP. The CL-SP has better chin room. CL-15 is a great helmet!

Rob Jersey City,  NJ Chin Strap Chokes!! I REALLY wanted to love this helmet. It is a great helmet for the price. Looks good and has a bunch of great features and it is both DOT and Snell approved! The helmet fit true to size. I'm a large and the HJC fit comfortably on me as well. The deal breaker for me was the chin strap and the side pads along the chin strap. While the side pads can bunch up in the helmet when putting on, it is easy to straighten them out when fastening the chin strap...a minor annoyance, not a big deal. The chin strap is a whole other story though...it actually choked me when fastened and not fastened tightly either! If I turned my head or looked down in the helmet I felt like I had someone’s hands around my neck...VERY distracting. Again, I had the strap adjusted about the same as my previous helmet...not too tight. I even loosened it up a bit but all that did was make the helmet less secure on my head and the strap STILL choked me. Sadly, I returned it and had zero problems with the return with Motorcycle Superstore's excellent customer service.

Nick Detroit,  MI Best bang for the buck! For as cheap as it is, it’s the best helmet out there. I bought this helmet as my first helmet. It’s great and holds up to most conditions. I just barely dropped it on a cement road off the mirror of my bike and the helmet’s paint chipped off very easily. I can't really complain though, it’s a very durable helmet and pretty comfortable too.

Bill Holmdel,  NJ solid helmet-solid performance I bought this helmet from Motorcycle Superstore 2 years ago and I still love wearing it every time I ride. It is comfortable, quiet and steady as a rock even on windy days at highway speed. I recently purchased a half helmet for the 90+ hot summer days, but only on short in town trips. I will still wear my CL-15 for all my longer rides because you just can't beat the secure feel of this helmet, plus the venting on this helmet is at least par with my old full face helmet which cost 3 time as much 10 years ago. I love the removable liner and cheek pads which I washed often. Now after 2 years and some 9k miles of riding the liner is wearing thin, but a new liner is relatively cheap from Motorcycle Superstore and I will have a new fitting helmet for another 2 years. The only thing to watch out is the paint scratches easily, which I found to be the norm with most of painted polycarbonate shell helmets.

Kurt Caugh Calabash,  NC HJC CL-15 I am very pleased with this helmet. It fits my head better than some more expensive helmets. I bought this helmet to replace a CL-12. The quick change shield is easy to use and intuitive. I was considering an Arai but the HJC was about 1/4 to 1/5 of the price and has all the features I would want. The HJC is an excellent value.

Dave Macungie,  PA Great Helmet I bought this as an upgrade from the CS-R1 helmet which I had for a few months and wasn't happy with the fit. I tried this on at a local motorcycle shop and liked the fit. The price at the motorcycle superstore was way better, even with shipping. The helmet is much more comfortable than the CS-R1. The ventilation is much better, and the anti-fog shield really does a nice job.

chad fennville,  MI HJC - CL-15 Solid Helmet The helmet is satisfactory. I purchased it as a back-up/ passenger helmet so I wasn't looking for the highest quality since it won't be worn as often as my primary helmet. So far I have had no complaints about the helmet but I haven't had the chance to test out the air-flow through the helmet during warm weather.
