Icon Domain - Solid Helmet for the money
I rated: 4 for fit, because the cheekpads were the tightest I've felt in any Large helmet, which might mean better safety in a crash, but just not as comfortable as others I've wore; 4 for finish because I love the quality paint job and the details, but there was glue sticking out of the back bottom trim; 4 for features, only because of the 'not so quick' release on the visor. My brother has the Bell Star and I've rode with top of the line Arai's and Shoei's. At retail, I think you can find a better helmet. But at closeout prices, I think you'd be hard pressed to find a similar helmet that gives you the looks and performance. Out of the helmets I've listed, some were quieter, some were more comfortable, some were lighter; but for the money, i don't think anything beats this helmet. It's not as loud as some say it is, it does vent very well, and yes, the visor doesn't come off and on as quick as advertised.

I'm very happy with this product, rated the durability high on the scale but time will tell since it was a bit early to put such a high score.I am pleased with everything else since I use it for road racing. I would recommend this item.

Great helmet for street and track. Fits perfect and has excellent visual field. Vents work well and the helmet looks good. Both Snell and Dot certified and a great price! Super value and quality; I'm very happy with the helmet.

Good helmet, comfortable, great ventilation. Not sweating anymore here in Fla, hair still all messed up after a ride but at least not soaked. Replacement or extra visors very cost efficient. Had to play with the vents to see if they were open or closed, wish the instructions would have contained this info. Overall very lightweight but feels very solid and confident.

Just a warning.
I ordered this helmet because it was a closeout special and I has always wanted one. I had the helmet for two days, and it looked and worked great but I had to return it because my head is just not meant for an icon. I wear a XL HJC helmet and according to the size chart I should be a 2XL in an icon but this wasn't so. When I put on the helmet it fit but it was squeezing the back of my head way too much where I found myself getting a headache after a few minutes. I thought i just needed to break it in so I decided to man up and take it for a ride, but came back a few minutes later because of the pain. Guess I just have a big head. This is not a bad review, I wish I could wear this helmet but they don't make a bigger size. So if you have a normal sized head then you will love this helmet!
