Helmet is a great deal! It is snug, the chrome isn’t too hard to scratch, but It does feel like a solid helmet. It has two easily accessible vents. The problem I have with this helmet is if you buy a replacement Face Shield you have to change the side plates, so in order to put the original shield back on you would have to change the side plates all over again. But for 80 bucks it's a great deal and I’d buy it all over again!!

As with all KBC VR-2 helmets this is a great helmet. The only downside to the Dragon is the bright chrome finish. It is al ot brighter than it appears in the photos. But other than that it is a well built helmet, worth every dollar you pay for it.

Good helmet
I bought this helmet because KBC is one of the few helmets that fit my head other than an Arai. I've purchased a VR-2 before (Legend), and when I found that one it was only available in a Large. Oddly, this KBC Dragon that I just purchased in XLarge is tighter. I'm assuming KBC has modified their liner maybe? Either way, it's breaking in fine and should make a great track helmet. Finish isn't perfect, but for a track helmet who cares... Nice buy.

Not only does this helmet look nice, it fits real snug like a helmet should. It only takes time to break it in. This helmet along with the chrome visor turns heads everywhere I go. The chrome is lovely!

I'm really on the fence about this lid.
I've heard a lot of good reviews on this lid so I went ahead and picked it up because the price seemed really good (You can't beat Motorcycle-superstore's price anywhere!) When the helmet arrived I was satisfied with the look. The padding on the inside seems sufficient and I liked the shape of the shell. I went with the other people’s suggestion and ordered a XXL instead of a XL and was glad for that decision. My concern though is that the face shield does not seal at all at the bottom. There is a gap between the shield and the helmet. I don't know if this is how it's designed or if it's a defect. I think it's a defect because the shield should close against the rubber seal around the opening. I called KBC and they are saying I can ship it to them but it would take about 3 weeks to a month to get it back...... ouch

Can't beat it...
I own two of these bad boys... I originally bought the first one as a track helmet and after trying it for a few weeks couldn't pass up the second one. I have had an rf-1000, and two icons before it. Don't get me wrong the others were good but the KBC VR-2 is amazing. Real Light on the head, visibility is also another key point for this bad boy. Wish they still made replacement visors for it. I’m not a fan of the new pivot system the VR-2R has. Will def be using these for years to come...

Pretty Good Helmet
Definitely glad i looked at other reviews and went one size up on the helmet. Design is great and matches well with a bike if you are like me and have lots of chrome on it. Build quality is my only question mark right now as it seems one of the vents on top is slightly coming unglued. I have noticed a slight bit of fogging but it usually goes away. Other than that i am pleased with the helmet and the price i paid.

This is my second helmet and my first KBC. I have to say the helmet is great. the fit is very snug. i wear a medium and at first the helmet was a little tight but after breaking it in it fits great. the helmet stands out from every other helmet. the only bad thing is that when i installed my chrome visor the clear one that came with the helmet will no longer work so now i have to buy another clear visor that will work with the new ratchet system that came with the chrome visor. and the clarity of the chrome visor isn’t so good. it makes everything seem as if its smoggy outside. but in all its a great fitting and looking helmet.

The colors on this helmet really pop. They look fantastic (granted they are decals not paint). I’m a bit skeptical about the vents, they seem a little cheap, but hey, 99$ is a steal. I am in Indiana and it's been chilly here, and the helmet seals off nicely. The visor mechanism works great as well; very fluid. People who say go up a size are crazy! A helmet is supposed to FIT and that means snug. This helmet fits TRUE to size. You won’t be disappointed. I’d buy another, especially at this price. Thanks MS!!!!

Good closeout deal
I got this helmet for $99 on closeout, it's a very nice helmet for the price. I have the red version, it's hard to tell from the picture, but there is a lot of chrome on it too. I got the XXL after reading the other posts and it fits well now, it was a little tight for the first ride. I don't know what is with the sizing, my head is a 7 5/8", and my other KBC (force RR) XL fits fine. I seems nicer than my Force RR, it's lighter and quieter.

Helmet is very snug on cheeks. Fortunately I can remove the cheek pads but I don't think that's how it is supposed to be worn. Unfortunately it's a hassle to send it back to try another size. If it fit better, it would get 5 stars all around.

Very pleased with my helmet. The graphics and features are second to none. Based on previous reviews, I ordered one size larger and I'm glad I did. The helmet feels durable but let’s hope I don't have to test that out on the road. I thought I got a great deal on the helmet at $139.00 until its recent price drop to $99.00. However, still a great deal whichever way you look at it.

Very pleased with this purchase. Like many other reviewers, I found the fit on the tight side but not uncomfortable. Venting is outstanding. Gun Chrome Satin really stands out and is nicely detailed. Light-weight but feels solid and stable. Most remarkable is the cost benefit. To pay as little as I did with the great service I received will make me come back to Motorcycle Superstore first.

Great Value
Bought the Red/Chrome helmet and am impressed. The helmet is a steal for the sale price of $99.00. Bought the size larger as recommended by others and the fit is perfect. Very secure feeling helmet and extremely quiet. Looks great and many compliments. Only problem is chin strap placement is a little too far back so it can feel like it is choking a bit. Otherwise...perfect.

This helmet REALLY does run small. Order a size up. Other than that, it's GREAT. Especially for $99!! I ordered it when it was at $139. It dropped to $99 two days later and, after a couple calls, MS refunded my credit card $30. Thanks MS. The only thing is that it (race chrome red) has WAY more chrome to it than the picture led me to believe, so be aware of that... it's chrome-a-licious.

Great helmet with very few flaws
The pictures of this helmet don't do it justice. When they say chrome, they mean chrome. You can see your reflection on it and it reflects light, when you think of shiny chrome on a chopper or something...that's what the helmet looks like in person.
As far as fit goes I would definitely order one size up. I usually fit a XL but after reading reviews on here I went one up to a 2XL and it was super tight to start. Took me about 3 weeks to get it worn in enough. The air vents let quite a bit of air in, but a lot of air comes in up under the chin even with all the vents closed. In the mornings when it is chilly I wear a balaclava underneath because it was letting too much air into the helmet and gettin' my chin and cheeks cold. In the mornings it fogs up pretty easily even with the little piece over the nose. Once you get goin' up to speed there is no problem though. I got the helmet on sale for 130 bucks and for that price I would definitely buy it again. The normal price it said was something like 250 bucks. For that much I would find something better, go with a Scorpion or something. All-in-all it is a great helmet and even with the few problems I love it. It looks nice, fits well now, and I would buy it again.

Awesome Helmet can't beat the price, and the look is better than the other helmet that I have, it’s pretty light weight the only thing is the graphics when you look close up other than that the helmet is awesome you can see better on your corner when you changing lanes. My helmet arrived one day earlier than what I expected definitely would by from this web site again, you can’t beat the pricing that they offer. Awesome for my big head
Off the bat, I have a big head and low cheekbones. Ordered the XXL and the fit was perfect. Light, good visibility; as long as you open up the visor when you are stationary, no fogging problems. Good temperature control as well. Rode in 40 degrees with the vents closed and it was just nice inside. At this price, you should at least get these as a second helmet.

This was my first time ordering online. I love the helmet, it looks tremendous! I have a HD 03 v rod aniv edition and the gunmetal chrome is perfect. I ordered one size up as everyone had suggested, and the fit was perfect. It is an outstanding value for the money. My order took 7 days from the time I ordered it. I thought this was a little slow. Next time I will pay the extra 20 bucks and have it sent 2 day! I am pleased with this purchase and will buy again. At these prices, I believe I will buy everything online!

Helmet overall not bad...main trouble is check pads that come with it (@35mm) to thick. (Thanks super store for getting me the 30 mm ones.) And the chin strips are too far back to the ears and cut across more of the neck and not the chin.

This is a great helmet for the price. I suggest getting ear plugs since wind noise is very loud. Also if you plan on getting a tinted visor then you will have to replace the whole locking system.

Outstanding helmet for 129.00. Fit is on the tight side, but not as much as I expected, get your normal size...it'll be snug. Graphics are tasteful, but look like cheap decals when you look close. Wind noise is not excessive, venting is good. At 259.00 I’d probably choose something else... at 129.00 nothing compares.

It is definitely chrome, the picture looks grayish black. The fit is accurate. Good deal on the price, not many other riders with this helmet. The nose piece is a lot closer to my face but not uncomfortable. Vents allow plenty of airflow, and there still is quite a bit with them closed I would say this helmet is louder.

I had been looking for a helmet for a while so I was shopping around. I saw this amazing deal on this helmet and instantly bought it. It came on time, but when i opened it i was a bit shocked. I bought the chrome and gunmetal paint. and they are not joking. this thing is chrome. it shines like a new dime. Very nice helmet. Amazing deal, but the picture online does not do it justice. it looks more black or silver and gray.

I purchased this helmet for my 12yr old son. I got the chrome, red, and blue helmet. The pictures do this helmet NO justice at all. Upon receipt I believe my first words were..... WOW!! Colors are awesome. The chrome REALLY LOOKS GREAT!! Helmet is not very heavy at all. Visor locking mechanism seems sufficient. Air vents system WORKS AS DESCRIBED. HELMET IS MOST DEFINATLY WORTH THE MONEY.

I have only worn it for about a month now but it is very comfortable, light, and looks good. It is metallic and chrome which can't really be seen from the pictures but I like it. Anti-fog face shield seems to work well and the price is right.

I just got it, and the shipping was FAST considering I live in Canada. Ordered Friday, got it UPS by later Monday PM. The helmet is nicer quality then I thought it would be. The color is more chrome than the picture looks like (grey/blk) but none-the-less, it still looks great. Still waiting for the dark visor to ship as it's back ordered, so I'll let you know on that item once I get it. Very happy. : )

Yeah, it's shiny. That's why I bought it. I don't know about you, but I want all those drivers on the road to be able to see me. This was an excellent deal on an excellent helmet, and the shiny, sparkly design is a bonus, in my eyes. My only issues with it so far: 1. it’s a tight fit, so you may wanna order a size up. 2. Vents work great once I get going, but it'll fog up at stoplights.

Can't beat this helmet for the price. I own helmets that I've paid twice the price for that I don't like as well as the KBC. Wide viewing, really comfortable, easy to open the vents. The cheek pads were a little snug at first but felt better as they broke in. Great value.

The picture of the helmet on the website doesn't describe how the helmet looks in person. The helmet is solid chrome which shines like the rear bumper of a '65 Caddy. Also around the shield there are glittery stars that flow over the top of the helmet. Very disappointed it will definitely be sent back..

I own the VR2 Dragon and I’m totally satisfied. Really light & great design. Beautiful carbon, very comfortable with excellent ventilation. The only downfall is that its a bit light, but at 200 kph which helmet isn’t? I’ve added the mirror screen as well and it looks "bad” Overall, cool helmet and KBC, I have to say, has the best designs ever.
