I LOVE this helmet
I have been a passenger for about 15 years & 2 years ago got my own Ninja. I was happy using my old gear at first on my bike, but got so hot in my solid black non vented HJC helmet. I decided new bike = better gear. I think any drawback of noise in this helmet FAR outweighs the air venting features. I love all the venting options. It seems I can find the perfect combination to keep me at the desired temp. I love the pattern too. I'm not a skull & demon type of person, so this is perfect. It's got a fun pattern, but nothing demonic. Love it!

Wind noise
First of all this helmet is good in every way it was advertised as except for one area which was the wind noise. There's still a lot of it in this helmet at every speed above 50 MPH which before I read the reviews and watched the videos about the helmet kind of thought was true for all helmets. And it turns out the thought of the RF-1100 is no exception. From what I could see the locking mechanism on the face shield is basically worthless and there is a pretty loud whistle coming through unless you point your head down significantly. That's just my 2 cents worth.

Good Helmet
This is a good helmet, and the air flow is great. The only problem is an air seal whistle around the screen.
