This is the best helmet I've ever used. It does everything very well, but I especially like that it doesn't lift at speed and try to choke me. I can even turn my head sidewise with the visor cracked and there is no difference in feel.

I have a RF400, RF1000 and X11 this is the best of the group. If I had to replace I would get another just like it.

Shoei X12 Helmet
This helmet is everything advertised. Great air flow, quiet, improved visibility, and that quality feeling that Shoei is known for. I have had the RF1000, and the X11 Helmets. Both are great and the X12 continues that tradition of improvement. I added the Pinlock visor and insert because I ride in cooler weather and the Pinlock eliminates fogging completely. Great products, I would recommend to anyone, you will not be disappointed.

Shoei X-Twelve The ultimate in Helmet Safety
I was on a mission to find the helmet that offered the ultimate in safety features and comfort. My search led me to the X-Twelve. Once again Shoei stepped up to the plate and delivered a super high tech helmet. When I first put mine on I thought opps, too tight, I tried to fit it just like the Shoei instructions, after a few break in hours it is now extremely comfortable, plus giving me a confident feeling I have the best protection. Compared to my old HJC this X-Twelve is Rolls Royce quite. It amazes me the design of the new cooling vents on how much they improved the venting and still keeping the noise down. Everyone who sees it likes the style. The most important is the safety features, like the ERS to remove the helmet in the event of an accident a Shoei exclusive, plus a shell so tough it has to be cut with a laser. Yes it is a tad pricey, but what price can you put on your safety, this helmet can make a huge difference of walking away from an accident or carried off to the graveyard. I will not ride without a Shoei, and I am now convinced I got a lot of value for the money.

AWESOME!!!
I have been riding Arai for some time now and decided to tryout the new X-Twelve. The fit is great!! I am surprised how much quieter and ventilated this helmet is compared to my Arai Corsair. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone!! GREAT HELMET!!

Like the new helmet
Today I was able to test out my new Shoei X-Twelve helmet (size XL) that I purchased from motorcycle-superstore. The helmet is expensive and quite noisy with all vents open (I’m 6’6” & ride a R1200GS w/stock windscreen). I found that keeping the vent found directly above my forehead closed reduces the noisy and whistling dramatically (still provides plenty of airflow). Fit (for my oval shaped head) and build quality are very good.
