Bought the matte black helmet on sale for $99.00+shipping. I love the way it fits and its a very "airy" helmet. No problems riding in 95 - up temps. Haven't had to use the de-fogger vent as there is plenty of air flow. Potentially could be cold in winter but they make products for that.

Read some of the other reviews and was slightly tentative about purchasing the helmet, but I must say, I am extremely pleased. People noted excessive wind noise... but, I wouldn't say its excessive. Also, people mentioned that there was no snap on the chin strap, and it flapped in the wind... but mine has a strap. Vents top and bottom give it plenty of air flow, and the flat black finish I went with to match my bike looks great. Very pleased with the helmet, even more so when it only cost $100...

The shield that is shown in the picture does not come with it. It says it in the fine print too so I just ordered the tinted shield for 30 dollars. There is a blind spot in the helmet like others said but my solution is to go faster than everyone else haha. Good helmet and cheap

I got a large bell arrow in matte black as a first helmet and it's great. It fits well, is comfortable, and has good air flow. I have owned bell bicycle helmets and they are always top notch, especially for the price! The sizing chart works perfectly. I also picked up a tinted face shield for the helmet and the combo looks great. The face shields are very easy to switch quickly.

This is a great helmet. The fit is very comfortable. Was surprised with the quality of the helmet for this price. I rode with it at 80mph and the wind noise was the same level as if your were at 45. I know that others have said this is a noisy helmet, but I thought it was acceptable. I can hear calls with my bluetooth head set just fine. I like how the face shield is sturdy, not loose like a lot of other helmets I have used.

Ever had a helmet that wanted to take off at speed? I have. Bought a helmet on ebay a while back and every time that I went over fifty miles per hour my helmet wanted to pull off my head. Lift at speed was horrible. Got the Bell helmet and what a difference. Neutral lift and looks great too. Wasted my money on the first one but got the good stuff with this awesome Bell helmet.

I bought this helmet based on the reviews I read here as well as the overall looks of the helmet. I found the positive reviews to be accurate. Bell makes a great helmet and this helmet can't be beat for the price. I just wore this helmet down to Reno and back from Portland and was very comfortable even in 90 degree heat. Air flow was good and fit charts were accurate.

Awesome helmet for $100!!! Would buy it again in a heartbeat. Only problem I have is that my nose touches the front sometimes. I guess my head is maybe oval shaped or something. Otherwise great helmet. Have about 1500 miles in it so far, and no complaints.

OK, my story: I bought the medium size after following the chart, I got it, tired it on, and it fit great... But when it was time to take it off i felt like my ears were tearing off of my head, yeah, it was that BAD. So i thought i got a size too small (even though once the helmet was on it fit really well), and I ordered a large. The large came in i tired it on, and it definitely felt loose on my head but i thought "at least my ears won't hurt" well totally wrong! When I took the helmet off I had the same exact feeling of my ears dying and falling off. So i thought WTF!!! but then i started comparing my old, comfortable helmet and the bell arrow I noticed one difference - the bell arrow is lined with some sort of leather/fleece fabric on the very outer border of the helmet, which if contacted with skin forms a death grip. So i tried pulling that very outer layer to the sides when taking off my helmet and it made a huge difference, in fact it isn't at all painful to take the helmet off, even the medium size... So the tip is, of course: spread the very outer layer to the sides when taking the helmet off. I will be keeping the Medium and sending back the Large.

Pros: For the price, this helmet is a good one. It looks sleek, it is cost effective and has great features for a helmet less than $110. Fits fine, however, I would recommend ordering one size 'bigger' than normal. It is also DOT Certified. Cons: It is not Snell Certified. It is a bit noisy as it allows a lot of air in the helmet, even with the vents.

I have been drooling over this helmet for a while now and finally purchased it. Bought the tinted visor to go with it as well. Fits well, looks good, and the price is not too steep. It's not the best helmet out there but for $100 you get quite a lot of helmet (saving about 300-400 compared to Shoei and Arai). That being said it's a good everyday helmet but can get a little hot at times. Vents are decent and padding is comfortable. Very pleased with the helmet.

For 100 bucks, was very pleasently surprised.

I'm very pleased with the quality of the helmet I received, it has a beautiful finish, plenty of airflow, hasn't steamed up yet, and fits great! As many other reviews have said the wind noise is excessive but who cares you're on a motorcycle anyways. For the price you can't beat it.

I've had this helmet for about a month now, and I can’t say that I’m disappointed. The fit is great, it is very comfortable, and there is plenty of air flow. I wear contacts and they've gotten a bit dry a few times, but I've never had any real problems with that. It does look a little "darth vadery" but it is really not too bad. Overall, I would say this is definitely a great helmet for the price and I would recommend this helmet to others.

Simply fine helmet, made special by the low price you could find it at. Doesn't feel like a cheapo helmet, but cost like it. Very rounded, so it looks a bit larger than other motorcycle helmets, on a skinny guy like me it looks a bit darth vadery. But more experienced riders have complemented me on the price point and say it’s a normal, fine motorcycle helmet. I got lucky it fit, very snug, but try stuff on before purchase online.

This helmet comes with a clear face shield so I purchased the darkened/tinted one as well. The helmet is great for the cost - can't imagine buying one of those $600 jobs, no matter how much money I make, because I doubt that a spill on the concrete would make much a difference in terms of the protection offered by a $100 versus a $600 helmet. Anyone want to weigh in on that? At any rate, this is a great helmet, fits my needs quite nicely so I'm thankful and appreciate the quick service.

Good looking helmet. I'm glad I ordered it a size larger like one reviewer suggested. The only thing I would ask Bell to change would be to add a quick release on the chin strap. It's pretty awkward to remove the helmet (without also removing your ears) with the strap attached.

I bought the Bell Arrow helmet after reading reviews. Never put it on my head until it was delivered. Great product for the money. The fit seems to run a little snug (I wear a large) but I like that. I live in Texas and have not used it in the summer months but I can already tell that I will welcome the amount of airflow through the helmet. True the inner lining of the helmet is on the cheap side, but it works for me! It is a little noisy, but hey you’re on a motorcycle. Looks awesome, just wish I'd ordered the black visor. Good helmet for under $100 (108 after express shipping).

This helmet was just what I was looking for! I am using this Bell Arrow Helmet to keep my head warm and reduce the wind to my ears on those colder blustery days while riding my wave runner on the water. This helmet is very comfortable. The visibility is very good, and the shield does not fog up. The little bit of air noise that is present at top speed does not bother me and is minimal compared to the engine and exhaust sounds. I give this helmet a big thumbs up for what I`m using it for!!! And it looks great with the blue iridium shield!!!

This helmet truly is incredible for the money, but if you have a rounder head this helmet is very uncomfortable. I had to add additional padding in the top of the helmet to make it comfortable for my head. It's definitely not a shoei, but for $99 you can't go wrong.

I recently bought this helmet due to all the reviews. I was happy with the fit and finish and on road performance with it. I did notice that it does fog up quite a bit more than other helmets I've owned when I breathe hard out my nose or mouth. But can someone comment on whether or not the Bell Arrow comes with a chin curtain? It has just recently gotten colder now, and I noticed that mine didn't come with a chin curtain. Thanks.

I really like the looks of the helmet. The build quality is good. It feels well put together and fits my noggin. Airflow seems good. The biggest downside is there is no lock on the windscreen and it whistles constantly above 45 miles an hour. I cant imagine wearing this on a long roadtrip. I would go insane. I'll stick to my old helmet for those rides.

I agree with some of the other reviews, that there is excessive wind noise. Bought the helmet before riding season, so was not able to give it a good test until recently. Several times I was checking to see if I had the shield completely closed, because of the large amount of airflow (was making my eyes water). Like it better now, enough to buy an additional one in another color. Good price, nice looking helmet.

The helmet fits fine but the padding at the neck is not attached very well. It appears just hot glued in and the right side glue failed and the padding had to be reinserted. My wife used the helmet and just about pulled all the padding out while attempting to pull the helmet on.

It appears to be a very nice helmet. The sizes are very misleading, though. This is an XL helmet, that's not sufficiently larger than a large, to make a difference. The shield that comes on it is great, if you only ride in the dark and never encounter another vehicle.

Initially, I was impressed when I took this helmet out of the box...especially considering the price. I liked the way it fit me and it looked nice, in my opinion. BUT after wearing it for a total of only 11 days on a motorcycle trip, there is a lot of wind noise and the wind bothered my eyes a bit. The seams on the little red strip on the helmet strap came apart and a piece of the Styrofoam protection inside the helmet fell out on its own (twice). Motorcycle Superstore’s customer service was friendly but advised me that the helmet cannot be returned since I had bought it a month ago, but they did mention that the helmet would be looked at and that Bell would replace it with a new one if the problem cannot be fixed. Waiting for problem to be resolved at this time. The helmet has not impressed me with quality thus far. Would give it a 2 out of 5 for that.

I think the title says it all. Perhaps there is no helmet that does not whistle. If there is, this is not it. Also, the flat front keeps me intimate with this helmet as I am constantly kissing its soft foam liner.

Noisy. REAL noisy. Soft, paunchy, and poorly stitched liner. Flimsy strap and a release tab that won't stay in place. Draftier than a screen door. Not worth a third of the $99 price. There are better helmets at MCS on closeout. and I've owned at least 6 Bell helmets.

Unless you are 400 lbs this helmet is going to make your head look enormous. It is too ridiculous to wear.
