Bell-Arrow Solid Helmet
Stephen - January 18, 2010(crawfordvile, FL)
One of the best fitting and most solid helmets, I have ever had on my head. I would recommend this helmet to anyone interested in a good helmet at a reasonable price.

Richard White - February 04, 2010(Albuquerque, NM)
As a brand new rider, I chose the Bell Arrow solid helmet for its simplistic look and great value. I am a simple man with simple tastes and this helmet fit the bill.

A Person - July 29, 2010(Austin, TX)
Bought the matte black helmet on sale for $99.00+shipping. I love the way it fits and its a very "airy" helmet. No problems riding in 95 - up temps. Haven't had to use the de-fogger vent as there is plenty of air flow. Potentially could be cold in winter but they make products for that.
marco - May 06, 2011(san antonio, TX)
GET THIS HELMET!!! No more need to be said!

Albert G. - May 10, 2011(Pikesville, MD)
Great helmet at a really great price!
John - May 31, 2011(Waterford, CT)
Read some of the other reviews and was slightly tentative about purchasing the helmet, but I must say, I am extremely pleased. People noted excessive wind noise... but, I wouldn't say its excessive. Also, people mentioned that there was no snap on the chin strap, and it flapped in the wind... but mine has a strap. Vents top and bottom give it plenty of air flow, and the flat black finish I went with to match my bike looks great. Very pleased with the helmet, even more so when it only cost $100...
Virgil - June 13, 2011(Jackson, WY)
The shield that is shown in the picture does not come with it. It says it in the fine print too so I just ordered the tinted shield for 30 dollars. There is a blind spot in the helmet like others said but my solution is to go faster than everyone else haha. Good helmet and cheap
Alex - July 07, 2011(Phili, PA)
I got a large bell arrow in matte black as a first helmet and it's great. It fits well, is comfortable, and has good air flow. I have owned bell bicycle helmets and they are always top notch, especially for the price! The sizing chart works perfectly. I also picked up a tinted face shield for the helmet and the combo looks great. The face shields are very easy to switch quickly.
Randy - July 11, 2011(Santa Rosa,CA, CA)
Nice helmet very comfortable I read all the reviews and it came out on top for the price range. Shipped fast and I am very happy with the helmet although this is my first full face helmet so I have nothing to compare it to.
Genevieve - August 22, 2011(st-quentin, NB)
great helmet for the price, fits perfectly.
Mark - December 05, 2011(Mobile, AL)
This is a great helmet. The fit is very comfortable. Was surprised with the quality of the helmet for this price. I rode with it at 80mph and the wind noise was the same level as if your were at 45. I know that others have said this is a noisy helmet, but I thought it was acceptable. I can hear calls with my bluetooth head set just fine. I like how the face shield is sturdy, not loose like a lot of other helmets I have used.
Ever had a helmet that wanted to take off at speed
Keith - March 16, 2012(Big Sur, CA)
Ever had a helmet that wanted to take off at speed? I have. Bought a helmet on ebay a while back and every time that I went over fifty miles per hour my helmet wanted to pull off my head. Lift at speed was horrible. Got the Bell helmet and what a difference. Neutral lift and looks great too. Wasted my money on the first one but got the good stuff with this awesome Bell helmet.
Eurotripper - March 21, 2012(Charlotte, NC)
Fits great. Looks cool. Couldn't be happier. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Will buy another if needed.
rob - July 20, 2012(salisbury mills, NY)
Great helmet for the price. Good fit and air flow.
Don - June 28, 2012(Redfotd, MI)
Great helmet, always wore a Bell helmet and were very pleased. This one is no exception!
johnny - August 28, 2012(fancy gap, VA)

Brent M. - October 10, 2012(Wolfe City, TX)
I have being wearing Bell Helmets for 40 years. They are the best. The full face helmet is the safest thing you can put on your head.
Tim - March 23, 2013(Demorest, GA)
Got this helmet for my wife and it is a great value. Comfy padding on the inside. Sometimes it is a little "noisy" but she loves it.
Victor - April 06, 2013(Clifton, NJ)
Great fit, comfortable and stylish. It's even better with the black shield that I got for it. I like it and my friends told me that it looks great.
Michael - September 27, 2012(West Linn, OR)
I bought this helmet based on the reviews I read here as well as the overall looks of the helmet. I found the positive reviews to be accurate. Bell makes a great helmet and this helmet can't be beat for the price. I just wore this helmet down to Reno and back from Portland and was very comfortable even in 90 degree heat. Air flow was good and fit charts were accurate.
My first helmet
Chris - July 20, 2012(Stonington, CT)
Loved the gloss black. Fit was a little tight at first but after a few rides it became comfortable and secure. Reasonably good air flow thru helmet and good visibility.
GREAT HELMET, GREAT PRICE
Stan - November 14, 2011(Grand Junction, CO)
Being a retired motor cop, I had never worn a full face helmet. This helmet fits great, excellent vision but I need to learn to breathe through my nose, so I don't fog it up.
Bell Arrow Matte Black Helmet
Chad - September 08, 2011(Portland, OR)
Awesome helmet for $100!!! Would buy it again in a heartbeat. Only problem I have is that my nose touches the front sometimes. I guess my head is maybe oval shaped or something. Otherwise great helmet. Have about 1500 miles in it so far, and no complaints.
Dennis - September 02, 2010(LAS VEGAS, NV)
This helmet is very nice, comfortable, and looks great all at an affordable price. The only minor complaint would be that there is a little wind whistle around visor at highway speeds. A great product overall.
John David Minigan - November 03, 2009(Windsor, ON)
Fits great. Helmet was for the wife. She thinks it"s cool looking. Good enough for me!
Bell Arrow Helmet ( "full-face" )
Scot Flowers - November 05, 2009(clayton, NC)
When I finally decided to get away from the street bike half helmets, better known as skull-caps. I really wanted a good looking name brand helmet and there were plenty available . . . but who has 400-750 bucks to spend these days on a helmet, not me. I found this Bell Arrow in Matte black and after racing & riding for 39 years - I finally own a helmet that I really like and love showing it to new people. And to think I got it delivered to my front doorstep for $99.95. (free shipping over $75)
Yes, I am very happy with my purchase!
Jason - October 07, 2009(Alamosa, CO)
Helmet fits great. It is a very comfortable helmet. Highly recommended. Only thing, shield is clear and not dark as shown in the picture.
HUGE tip for buyers.
Wojciech - February 23, 2010(Brooklyn, NY)
OK, my story: I bought the medium size after following the chart, I got it, tired it on, and it fit great... But when it was time to take it off i felt like my ears were tearing off of my head, yeah, it was that BAD. So i thought i got a size too small (even though once the helmet was on it fit really well), and I ordered a large. The large came in i tired it on, and it definitely felt loose on my head but i thought "at least my ears won't hurt" well totally wrong! When I took the helmet off I had the same exact feeling of my ears dying and falling off. So i thought WTF!!! but then i started comparing my old, comfortable helmet and the bell arrow I noticed one difference - the bell arrow is lined with some sort of leather/fleece fabric on the very outer border of the helmet, which if contacted with skin forms a death grip. So i tried pulling that very outer layer to the sides when taking off my helmet and it made a huge difference, in fact it isn't at all painful to take the helmet off, even the medium size... So the tip is, of course: spread the very outer layer to the sides when taking the helmet off. I will be keeping the Medium and sending back the Large.
John - August 03, 2010(Windsor, ON)
I ordered a Medium and It was just right. If I dad one complaint it would be a little noisy in high speeds. Good fit good looking and simply the best Name brand helmet you can buy for $99.95!
Isheeus - April 25, 2011(Columbia, MD)
For the price, this helmet is a good one. It looks sleek, it is cost effective and has great features for a helmet less than $110. Fits fine, however, I would recommend ordering one size 'bigger' than normal. It is also DOT Certified.
It is not Snell Certified. It is a bit noisy as it allows a lot of air in the helmet, even with the vents.
Arnold - September 16, 2011(San Leandro, CA)
I have been drooling over this helmet for a while now and finally purchased it. Bought the tinted visor to go with it as well. Fits well, looks good, and the price is not too steep. It's not the best helmet out there but for $100 you get quite a lot of helmet (saving about 300-400 compared to Shoei and Arai). That being said it's a good everyday helmet but can get a little hot at times. Vents are decent and padding is comfortable. Very pleased with the helmet.
For 100 bucks, was very pleasently surprised.
Jim - September 30, 2011(Tallmadge, OH)
I only get to ride for short periods but was very impressed with this helmet regarding cost vs features. Certainly you can always spend more but this worked out great for my needs. Ended up buying a second one for the occasional passenger.
Jason - August 31, 2011(Cincinnati, OH)
I'm very pleased with the quality of the helmet I received, it has a beautiful finish, plenty of airflow, hasn't steamed up yet, and fits great! As many other reviews have said the wind noise is excessive but who cares you're on a motorcycle anyways. For the price you can't beat it.
1st Bell Helmet
Jose R - July 08, 2011(waco , TX)
Fits very snugly the way it is required. It will get a little loose after use but still remain snuggle enough. Looks are great with my flat black Ducati. Good helmet for the price. EXCELLENT...
Pass the ultimate test
Aaron - March 16, 2012(Chula Vista, CA)
Most reviews are about fit, looks or value. This helmet is a good value, we all know it. I was wear thick leather pants, thick armor jacket and this helmet. It passed the test with flying colors.
Helmets need to meet a certain standard, so price is not that critical. This helmet does the job!!! The rest of the gear, spend your money on.
Bill T. - September 30, 2011(Peoria, IL)
So far, the helmet seems to be a good bang for the buck. Fits well and looks great.
It is no shoei or schuberth...
Shawn - October 03, 2011(Gaithersburg, MD)
But it is a great helmet. The good - good airflow, right price, fit is good on top of the head. The bad - cheekpads are a bit tight (for me), nose touches front at certain angles, and no chin curtain (more noise, more cold air).
Bell Arrow Helmet
Ben - July 24, 2012(Springfield, VA, VA)
I've had this helmet for about a month now, and I can’t say that I’m disappointed. The fit is great, it is very comfortable, and there is plenty of air flow. I wear contacts and they've gotten a bit dry a few times, but I've never had any real problems with that. It does look a little "darth vadery" but it is really not too bad. Overall, I would say this is definitely a great helmet for the price and I would recommend this helmet to others.
Great bang for the buck
Nicky A - March 26, 2012(Brooklyn, NY)
Simply fine helmet, made special by the low price you could find it at. Doesn't feel like a cheapo helmet, but cost like it. Very rounded, so it looks a bit larger than other motorcycle helmets, on a skinny guy like me it looks a bit darth vadery. But more experienced riders have complemented me on the price point and say it’s a normal, fine motorcycle helmet. I got lucky it fit, very snug, but try stuff on before purchase online.
Alan E - June 06, 2012(fort wayne , IN)
Very nice helmet
Excellent helmet for the price
Brad - June 13, 2012(New York, NY)
High quality DOT-approved helmet that's extremely affordable. It did not feel cheap and had pretty good air flow. My only complaint is that it is very round, so it looks bigger than most helmets giving you a slightly irregular look. But overall great value.
David C. - March 16, 2012(Lakeside, CA)
This helmet comes with a clear face shield so I purchased the darkened/tinted one as well. The helmet is great for the cost - can't imagine buying one of those $600 jobs, no matter how much money I make, because I doubt that a spill on the concrete would make much a difference in terms of the protection offered by a $100 versus a $600 helmet. Anyone want to weigh in on that? At any rate, this is a great helmet, fits my needs quite nicely so I'm thankful and appreciate the quick service.
fits perfect after a week. rate is A-
richard s. - October 09, 2012(lakeport, CA)
I got this helmet and loved the looks and black visor I ordered also, but I instantly noticed that behind the ears was very uncomfortable, I’ve had it for a month now, and after about 5 days of everyday use it felt a lot better, and love it better than my last helmet which was the sparx s07
Reed V - July 12, 2011(Soldotna, AK)
Good looking helmet. I'm glad I ordered it a size larger like one reviewer suggested. The only thing I would ask Bell to change would be to add a quick release on the chin strap. It's pretty awkward to remove the helmet (without also removing your ears) with the strap attached.
Bell Arrow Helmet
Ron - September 30, 2011(Albuquerque, NM)
Great helmet for the price!! If you like the appearance in the ad be sure to order the tinted shield as it only comes with the clear.
Ryan A - October 27, 2010(Tempe, AZ)
For a hundred bucks it’s a great fall / spring / summer helmet, can tell from night rides I may need to use a bandana on the bottom half of my face because the air flow is a bit heavy coming up from the bottom. All around I like it.
Alot of helmet for $100
B.Ritter - February 14, 2011(Kyle, TX)
I bought the Bell Arrow helmet after reading reviews. Never put it on my head until it was delivered. Great product for the money. The fit seems to run a little snug (I wear a large) but I like that. I live in Texas and have not used it in the summer months but I can already tell that I will welcome the amount of airflow through the helmet. True the inner lining of the helmet is on the cheap side, but it works for me! It is a little noisy, but hey you’re on a motorcycle. Looks awesome, just wish I'd ordered the black visor. Good helmet for under $100 (108 after express shipping).
good helmet for the money
cr - December 22, 2009(newnan, GA)
This helmet fits nicely once it broke in and molded to my head. I really like the look of this helmet and for the money it is hard to beat. I wish the helmet were a little more quiet, but other than that I have no complaints. I did notice the screen fogs up pretty quickly in cold weather when stopped at traffic lights.
Brian - July 12, 2010(Tehachapi, CA)
The helmet is comfortable and has great features. The only negative is that it allows more sound in than expected. This might be a "plus" for others. I have loud exhaust.
Bell Arrow Matte Black Helmet
Andy - April 28, 2011(Tuckerton, NJ)
This helmet was just what I was looking for! I am using this Bell Arrow Helmet to keep my head warm and reduce the wind to my ears on those colder blustery days while riding my wave runner on the water. This helmet is very comfortable. The visibility is very good, and the shield does not fog up. The little bit of air noise that is present at top speed does not bother me and is minimal compared to the engine and exhaust sounds. I give this helmet a big thumbs up for what I`m using it for!!! And it looks great with the blue iridium shield!!!
great hemet depending on head shape
mike v. - September 30, 2011(palo alto, CA)
This helmet truly is incredible for the money, but if you have a rounder head this helmet is very uncomfortable. I had to add additional padding in the top of the helmet to make it comfortable for my head. It's definitely not a shoei, but for $99 you can't go wrong.
too hot to handle
paul - July 31, 2012(union city, TN)
Goodlooking sturdy helmet, but is too hot for summer in TN. Will have to customize to wear with my glasses. So if you dont wear glasses & its not 100 deg, its a great value.
Aire S. - October 03, 2011(Annandale, VA)
I recently bought this helmet due to all the reviews. I was happy with the fit and finish and on road performance with it. I did notice that it does fog up quite a bit more than other helmets I've owned when I breathe hard out my nose or mouth. But can someone comment on whether or not the Bell Arrow comes with a chin curtain? It has just recently gotten colder now, and I noticed that mine didn't come with a chin curtain. Thanks.
good passenger helmet
joe - October 25, 2012(la, CA)
I got this helmet for my g/f so she could ride with me. Fits her good and I checked the cushion its nice and the mat look is awesome.
GREAT PRICE FOR A BELL
TY - August 28, 2012(STEPHENSON, VA)
LOOKS GREAT, FITS GOOD AND AT A VERY GOOD PRICE FOR A BELL. SOME WIND NOISE, OTHER HELMETS AT THE SAME PRICE HAVE THE SAME AMOUNT OF NOISE OR MORE
Jason - September 14, 2012(Indianapolis, IN)
I really like the looks of the helmet. The build quality is good. It feels well put together and fits my noggin. Airflow seems good. The biggest downside is there is no lock on the windscreen and it whistles constantly above 45 miles an hour. I cant imagine wearing this on a long roadtrip. I would go insane. I'll stick to my old helmet for those rides.
Mason O - March 09, 2013(Fort Sill, OK)
Good quality helmet for the price. Great beginner or 1st helmet. Cushion fit comfortable after breaking in and the quality and features are good for the price. Only con I have encountered so far was the lens fogs up very easily with the helmet shut. Have not used it in the summer yet to tell you about air flow.
Bell Arrow helmet
Ron - September 08, 2011(Albuquerque, NM)
Great helmet for the price. Very comfortable and looks nice. Excellent fit. If you're thinking of getting one to look exactly as the one in the ad. Be sure and order the dark tint shield separately.
ron p. - September 07, 2011(state college, PA)
Pleased overall, bought it mainly for safety reasons even though I prefer not wearing them... real test would be how it holds up in a crash & I hope that never happens...
gil o. - September 08, 2011(Oklahoma City, OK)
Order 1 size bigger! Fit is a little tight! Other than that, good helmet for the price.
bell arrow helmet
michael - August 30, 2011(kernersville, NC)
I agree with some of the other reviews, that there is excessive wind noise. Bought the helmet before riding season, so was not able to give it a good test until recently. Several times I was checking to see if I had the shield completely closed, because of the large amount of airflow (was making my eyes water). Like it better now, enough to buy an additional one in another color. Good price, nice looking helmet.
Full face helmet
Jim B - August 26, 2010(fort mcmurray, AB)
The helmet fits fine but the padding at the neck is not attached very well. It appears just hot glued in and the right side glue failed and the padding had to be reinserted. My wife used the helmet and just about pulled all the padding out while attempting to pull the helmet on.
Michael - August 16, 2012(Benton, AR)
It appears to be a very nice helmet. The sizes are very misleading, though. This is an XL helmet, that's not sufficiently larger than a large, to make a difference. The shield that comes on it is great, if you only ride in the dark and never encounter another vehicle.
Not so sure about quality
Dennis - September 02, 2010(Miami, FL)
Initially, I was impressed when I took this helmet out of the box...especially considering the price. I liked the way it fit me and it looked nice, in my opinion. BUT after wearing it for a total of only 11 days on a motorcycle trip, there is a lot of wind noise and the wind bothered my eyes a bit. The seams on the little red strip on the helmet strap came apart and a piece of the Styrofoam protection inside the helmet fell out on its own (twice). Motorcycle Superstore’s customer service was friendly but advised me that the helmet cannot be returned since I had bought it a month ago, but they did mention that the helmet would be looked at and that Bell would replace it with a new one if the problem cannot be fixed. Waiting for problem to be resolved at this time. The helmet has not impressed me with quality thus far. Would give it a 2 out of 5 for that.
good 100 dollar helmet
Robert - December 05, 2011(everett, WA)
Every head is a little different. What you get is well worth what you pay for this model.
Loud and noisy helmet
chris - May 09, 2013(la quinta, CA)
You get way too much noise from air on the freeway with this helmet which really the only time I would need to wear a full face. Looks good and fit good just really unhappy with all that noise.
Cheap and fits well
Derek Nickell - November 25, 2009(Los Angeles, CA)
Louder than my dual sport helmet. Not a lot of flow until about 80mph. Whistles while the visor is up at anything over 10mph. Took it for about 300 miles yesterday, didn't have any discomfort. Cheap. This is my first and last cheap helmet.
good looking but not a good fit and air flow
wilbert - September 30, 2011(east quogue, NY)
Not a good fit nor good air flow.
karatechop5000 - September 23, 2010(Wallingford, CT)
I think the title says it all. Perhaps there is no helmet that does not whistle. If there is, this is not it. Also, the flat front keeps me intimate with this helmet as I am constantly kissing its soft foam liner.
Steve H. - November 29, 2012(Snowmass Village, CO)
Noisy. REAL noisy. Soft, paunchy, and poorly stitched liner. Flimsy strap and a release tab that won't stay in place. Draftier than a screen door. Not worth a third of the $99 price. There are better helmets at MCS on closeout. and I've owned at least 6 Bell helmets.
Tyler - September 07, 2011(Long Island, NY)
Unless you are 400 lbs this helmet is going to make your head look enormous. It is too ridiculous to wear.
