For the price, I find the EXO-900 a great value. The build quality is excellent as is the finish. I was waiting for Scorpion to come out with a modular and they certainly did not disappoint.

Scorpion - EXO-900 Transformer Helmet
I am very happy with the helmet. The main reason for buying was the inside mounted sun visor. The helmet fits better than most, mostly due to the air adjustable suspension system. The helmet is pretty quiet in regards to wind noise. I wish it had a quick connector chin strap like the Nolan N-Com, which I transitioned from. The EXO is definitely better than the Nolan. I haven't mounted my audio into the helmet yet, so I have no comment on that issue. Overall a very good helmet for the non-budget minded rider.

Only used for 4-5 weeks but so far I really like it. For a flip helmet it has many nice features Being able to convert to open face and still use the sunshade is great.

Nice Helmet
The features are really cool on this helmet. The air flow is a little weak for riding on warm days and the fit is a little tight on the chin. Overall though I would reccomend

I love the features. The appearance is good and it fits like a glove. I love the flip down visor. I wear a full face not the 3/4. Great buy.

Helmet is heavy, but worth its weight. Quieter than my EXO-700 which is strange, I love the pump works like a champ. If they released side pods to give it a jet look I would say this would be my only helmet....

A super helmet at a great price
With the purchase of my new silver M109R2, I wanted a helmet that would compliment this bike. The silver Scorpion fit the bill perfectly. I just finished a 2300 mile trip through Arizona and central Utah. This helmet takes less than one minute to change from an open face to close face. When it was cold out or raining, I had the closed face, and it did an excellent job of keeping me dry. The vents really do work well in the Arizona heat. I recently added a Chatter Box speakers and Open headset to this helmet. The speakers are mounted close to the ears, so I can hear my wife when she speaks to me through the Chatter Box unit. Overall, I really like this helmet.

Scorpion - EXO-900 Transformer Helmet
I purchased this helmet on Saturday and road it through my IRC class. It was a great fit, secure and comfortable. Good air flow kept me cool while many others had to remove their helmet during exercises. For the class I went with the open face feature and visor, which was great for that quick snack or drink. I have been using a full face Shoei, which is a nice helmet, but it will be collecting dust for a while.

Great Idea - Poor Result
When you add the chin bar, this helmet compresses the sides at least one full size. It fits great without the chin bar and crushes my head with the bar installed. The previous comment about digging into your forehead is right on.
The helmet is about a pound too heavy.
The shell of this helmet is gigantic. It is almost an inch wider than my HJC.
The visor is flimsy and could fit better.
The vents work well.
I'm glad I tried one on before ordering. Scorpion helmets are at least a full size smaller than many other brands.
The design is a fabulous idea. Now, let's get with it and make a regular size helmet with a removable chin bar that fits the helmet properly and doesn't weigh a ton.

EXO-900
First of all, I am a fan of Scorpion helmets. They have always fit my ill-shaped head and delivered excellent quality for the $.
I love this helmet. The quality is there as usual, and there are more features than I will use. The opening mechanism is pretty foolproof & easy to use. The inner darkened screen is great. My only complaint is that it doesn't flow as much air as I would like (though no helmet I've worn ever has).
It seems to be quieter than my EXO-700, which is a surprise in a modular.
I have not crash-tested it yet.

I found that if you’re riding cruiser style, this helmet works well. If you are riding in a sport bike crouch, this helmet is the pits. There is no padding in the forehead region. The Styrofoam digs into my forehead. This also pushes my brows down over my eyes. I have to keep pushing the helmet up so I can see to ride. The chinstrap has a place where the strap is connected to the helmet that bulges out. This also digs into my jaw and becomes unbearable after a few mins of riding. Great design but poorly made.

exo 900 transformer
It’s a good helmet for a modular. Fits well. Has a lot of awesome features..I especially like the flip down sun visor. Air flow kinda sucks as soon as you close the screen it gets hot quick, but the visor doesn’t fog up at all which is nice. The helmet pump is also nice. As for as weight goes, it’s a little on the heavy side but not too bad. I would recommend this helmet to anyone who is looking for a nice helmet without some features that are useful. Well worth the money.
