Great Helmet.....poor visor Pivot Kit
Love the helmet, great fit, wind noise is normal however, the visor Pivot Kit is the pits!! Went to change the visor from clear to silver and the Pivot kit on one side broke. Ordered 3 more and they all broke. Seems that the Kit does not want to keep the visor locked in place, it kept popping out whenever the visor was raised...DUCT TAPE TO THE RESCUE.

All is good except, the icon stickers on the front and back keep trying to peel off. I have to press them down daily to keep them on. Eventfully I am going to have to take them off. The pieces seem a little cheap, but work good.

Overall Good Helmet
Fit and finish lacking a slight bit, but overall a good, solid helmet. The fit problem is the opening of the helmet. It's a little too snug going on and coming off. Once it's on, the helmet fits like a glove - so to speak. The finish problem really isn't a big concern, as it's just the puffy Icon stickers that seem to keep lifting around the edges. No biggie really, but thought I'd mention it. Removing them would solve this minor problem, obviously. I'm very pleased with the performance though, as it stood up to 100-150 mph runs without much noise other than the typical sounds (which you should hear anyway). Visor feels rock solid too.

Would recommend this helmet for the cost, I like to buy Arai, but are too much money. This helmet is just as good.

Nice!
This is my first helmet so I can't really compare with anything but the quality seems excellent and it looks great! Can't beat the sale price. I ordered the large and it fits great, but I had to order the XL (which are smaller) cheek pads. Large cheek pads were just too tight.
This was also my first purchase with Motorcycle superstore and I have to say it was the best experience I've ever had with an online purchase! Placed order Sunday night...shipped Monday morning...arrived Tuesday morning!!! Customer service was also great with help on another order just made. I will be making my purchases here from now on!!!

Like others have said, the stickers come off easily, but that's not a big deal for me. It fits well, but it's a snug fit. I ended up getting a size larger. It's very good at reducing noise. I would recommend this helmet.

Best Quality/Price Ratio You'll Likely Find
Are there better helmets on the market? Yes. Is there a better helmet near this price point? Absolutely not. I've owned several helmets, some cheaper and some more expensive than my Icon Mainframe Halo. This helmet, thus far, has been my overall favorite by a long shot. I am a true XL fit and this helmet is a very snug, not tight, fit which I personally enjoy. This helmt, once strapped on, does not move. Noise levels are very low for helmet in this price range. I believe the helmet is a bit on the heavy side but certainly not enough to bother me. Ventilation is good when moving but you can expect the visor to fog up often, not always however, when stopped. I'd recommend this helmet to just about anybody and will likely replace it with another Icon when the time comes.

I loved this helmet, being my first helmet I didn't know what to expect but the vents are good. The noise you hear when riding is okay, I just put headphones in so it doesn't bother me anyway. Gotten so many complements on my helmet with my bike. Put an Icon Original Silver shield on there, AWESOME LOOK!

I purchased the Icon helmet because of positive feed back and the name. I know Icon makes a great helmet. The price and quality is unbeatable. Great fit. It's quiet. Snell and DOT approved. Looks great also.

Nice bucket!
I have a Kawasaki Concours (older one) which has a poorly designed windshield system for taller riders like myself but this helmet really reduces that low frequency buffeting noise by 99% compared to the 10 year old HJC CL-11 it replaced. The only issue I noticed so far is the sticker on the front came off which is OK because I think it looks better with it off. The shield was difficult to open and close at first but it's getting easier the more I use it. The fit is much different than my HJC, it's a better fit around the top of my head and much tighter at the bottom which is great because it really reduces noise and makes the helmet feel more stable. The air flow is amazing when I stand up outside the fairing, much better than any other helmet used in the past. It's only been two days, but I would recommend this helmet based on my experience so far.

I bought this helmet after owning a KBC 3/4. The difference in noise at cruising speeds is phenomenal, and the helmet cuts the wind with little buffeting. On the bad side was the cheek pads. I purchased a large and then had to buy the X large cheek pad size (which are smaller, actually) in order to be able to open and close my mouth when I had the helmet on. Too bad they couldn't include other cheek pads or offer it as a free option. They cost me an extra $20. Otherwise, the helmet fits my head shape very well. It's still a great lid for the money. The 4 on durability is only because I don't know yet. Time will tell.

The Icon Helmet
This helmet looks great and feels great as well. I did take out the cheek pads and it does fit a little loose so I need to put them back for a snug fit. I really only feel the difference at highway speeds, the helmet shifts a bit when I turn my head, but other than that it is great.

Good Helmet for the Price
Previous was an AGV helmet. The Icon Mainframe is snug and well ventilated, though there is some wind noise at higher (70+) speeds. Very good for the price.

Nice Helmet
Looks good with a nice snug fit. Pretty quiet at high speed. My only complaint is the Icon logo stickers (one on front, and one on rear) of helmet don't stay on too well.

This is a nice helmet for the money. It does fog up, when you at a stop. Over all it's light weight and very well vented. Very low noise.

Great helmet, tight to get head in, but really cuts down wind noise once on. Fits me perfect and not to heavy. Icon stickers peeled off, doesn’t matter to the helmet. I like it, works great for me.

Great helmet!
This helmet "feels" lighter than my previous, more expensive Dainese helmet (even though it actually weighed more) and DRAMATICALLY reduced buffeting at freeway speeds. My only real complaint is that only the cheek pads are removable for cleaning and that the vents are made of a cheesy "fake chrome" plastic. Otherwise, a GREAT helmet for the money!

Icon Mainframe Helmet
This is by far the best helmet there is out there today.Its not heavy you get plenty of circulation thoughout the helmet. When I'm flying the helmet is flawless, I cut right through the wind. I would recommend this helmet or any other Icon product to anyone.
