Icon Mainframe Subhuman Helmet

The Icon Mainframe helmet was designed with fit, function, and the rider's safety in mind. The Mainframe helmet features a venturi super-vent system for the ultimate in airflow. Athree position forehead switch acts as an additional ram-air vent to significantly increase the overall cooling of the helmet. The shell is constructed of a Dyneema/fiberglass composite and is lined with a dual-density styrene liner for incredible strength without undue weight. Also incorporated into the design are removable/washable cheek pads, a removable anti-fog breath deflector, and the industry's easier no-tool quick change shield.

Anthony Welch Fredericksburg,  VA A awesome buy!!!!! I bought this helmet for my primary riding helmet. It’s probably one of the best helmets I tried on. I went around town to find one, none of them were as comfortable as this one. Keeps me cool in the heat, fits perfect on my face. Plus I get a lot of stares and compliments on the helmet. Dang for the price you can’t beat that, love it, love ICON gear and I especially love this site!

chris belleville,  KS Icon subhuman helmet I wear an XL and this has been the best fitting for my head. I've worn an AGV, KBC, and the icon alliance ss. I liked the manic design but that was out of stock so I went with the subhuman. Teeth and brain splitting graphics are what you get with this.

Brandon Fullerton,  CA Pretty sick helmet This helmet is awesome. I just ordered a green reflector screen for it because the clear screen that it came with completely shows your face underneath and ruins the effect of the monster. It is a tad bit loud but, other than that it's awesome. like some of the reviews said to order the next size up i did and it fits really good. Awesome helmet and the most important thing it gets a ton of great comments and everyone wants to hold it and put it on. hahahaah. SICK HELMATE. Good job icon for your unique look.

T hollywood,  MD Icon - Mainframe Helmet The Helmet looks great! The subhuman looks great in person! The pictures don’t do it justice. I am very pleased with the finish on the helmet. The visor is a little hard to change between the dark and clear. I've used faster/easier visor systems. The dark smoke shield is pretty dark. Though my old HJC (the one this replaced) was much darker. The hinges are firm when opening or closing. It hasn’t blown open yet. It appears to be a good system. The air vents seem to work pretty well, but I’m having not had enough hot weather yet. The helmet is not too noisy. Though, I haven’t done too much comparing. Fit, the bottom of the pads seem real tight on my cheeks until the helmet is all the way on. I assume that’s to help with wind. It would be nice if the helmet sat down another 1/8 inch on my noggin, I normally wear a LG, if the pads don’t break in enough, and maybe I will order a set of XL cheek pads. Aside from putting the helmet on/off it is very comfortable. I recommend the “Mainframe” helmet line! Well built, good bang for the buck!!

Eric Gutierrez big spring,  TX Great Helmet I really have enjoyed this helmet over the past month. The graphics are much better in person and the picture on the website doesn't show the full details. My only complaint is that when riding on the highway, the air vents are very loud.
