Excellent for Quality and Cost
I am a new rider and this is my first helmet. However, I was leery of purchasing an expensive helmet or a cheap one. Too expensive, what is the benefit as long as they meet DOT and/or SNELL reqs? Too cheap, poorly made except for meeting DOT and/or SNELL reqs. The solution? I attempted to find a well-made, decent airflow or better, good-looking helmet for under $80-100. This did it. Although I wish it was a brick wall for airflow when I close the vents and hurricane winds when warmer, it does well enough. I have ridden in hotter (70-85) temps and cooler (50-60F)temps without being more than reasonably uncomfortable. It seems to be well made. No complaints. My only other wish is that they have a sun visor built in like some of the high-end Shoei or Scorpions. If it had better airflow control, a non-fog windshield (which you can probably get) and a visor it would be perfect at this price.
