Tommy Tucson,  AZ HJC-IS-Max Solid Modular Helment Great helmet! The fit is great and I love the modular aspect. The sun shield could be darker, but it works great and is very easy to get use to. The look is way cool. The air flow is average. All in all, I love this helmet and would buy it again.

Bill Scotch Plains,  NJ Excellent Helmet Very Cool I ordered this helmet for a friend of mine and but did get a chance to try it out. I always recommend getting the next size up from the size chart because "these helmets run tight". Having said that the helmet fit perfectly for my friend 2x Large. The helmet is great, nice and light, flip up front glides beautifully the flip down sun shield visor is AWESOME Highly Recommend It; The flip down visor is spring loaded when you flip it down to put it up you just tap the button like a switch blade and it retracts in a milli-second. Vents are great work and work fine. I do not have a flip down visor on my own helmet but will be ordering one for myself in the spring. If you want a great Modular Helmet with a flip down Visor and don't want to spend a ton of money buy this helmet you won't regret it.

Chris San Diego,  CA IS-MAX I've had the IS-Max for about 3 months now. Like it a lot. Also own an Arai Vector. I wear the IS-Max more often than the Arai now even though the Arai is more comfortable. The convenience of the flip up face and the built in sun visor are nice to have. I commute to work, the morning ride sun visor up, halfway to work can drop it down. No trying to put sunglasses on at freeway speeds. One thing that does worry me is the durability of the sun shield. While cleaning it noticed it is very flimsy. Worry that it will break and the parts are inside the helmet. If it does break don't think there will be any fixing it. IS-Max clearly noisier than the full faced Arai, but it's a flip up. True test result is I wear this $200 melon protector more than I wear my $500 Arai... so there you go!

Jim Baker Brighton,  TN Returned Helmet I used the size chart provided and the helmet was to tight. This being the case I should not have had to pay for return shipping. My return was processed in about a week and my refund was posted promptly to my credit card. I ordered the next size larger helmet, life is good.

kevin meredith coalvalley,  IL hjc is max solid modular helmet The appearance is nice, the fit is snug. But I wear glasses and that interferes with the sun visor. All-in-all the helmet is great, living in the Midwest it allows me to ride more into the season. I can see clearly and my side to side view is great. For the price it is well worth it.

Frank Prairie Village,  KS HJC IS Max Solid Modular Helmet Great helmet! Like the simple features (need only one hand to raise chin area) and easy to lower the sun visor (though sun visor sometimes "touches" my nose ... didn't think I had such a big nose?!). Still prefer sunglasses with wind visor open, but on some partly cloudy/sunny days, the visor is a nice feature. Also like traditional D-ring closure strap. Great vents too!

craig fort valley,  VA HJC-IS-Max Solid Modular Helmet I have never owned a full face helmet before purchasing the HJC-IS-MAX. I Bouhgt it for a cross country trip. Being able to wear my prescription glasses while riding was a big plus. There was also the added bonus of the integral sunglasses. I was very happy with the the comfort and fit. Traveling at highway-plus speeds for hours at a time was very enjoyable while wearing this helmet.

Michael Yakima,  WA Exactly what I needed Upon opening the box, I found that the helmet was exactly what I expected for looks. After trying it on, there was some glue or other substance on the sun visor. After removing the visor and cleaning it, I've had no other problems. The airflow is great as compared with my previous helmet. The vision is wonderful and I've never had any problems getting the helmet to close.
