Bluetooth helmet is a good buy
I have a T-Mobile memoir that syncs up automatically now. It took a little while to get them paired initially. There’s a paired memory on my phone, and the helmet is stored so I don’t have to constantly search for it. Plays good, but at higher speeds, too much wind noise in the helmet so your bass is gone. But its still better than nothing. But phone calls come in clearer than the music at those speeds. Weird. So much more convenience now. I can talk to the wife and let her know when I’m coming home, or talk to the buddy riding next to me. Great feature for a decent price. I got the smoke faceshield as well, but haven’t used it. Only complaint is the helmet could be quieter (more cushion?) at higher speeds, but you can still hear your music and calls.

Wow! What an amazing setup. I wireless sync to my iPhone and to my passenger helmet and can cruise listening to music, chat with my passenger, and answer calls. You can hear and be heard perfectly at speeds under 60 MPH. A similar setup with a Chatbox would cost much more and not be as simple and efficient. The only con is the ventilation is insufficient during stops for the hot weather in Florida. A definite recommended buy.

Element's Fastrrack Bluetooth
This helmet by far is the nicest helmet I've owned and the Bluetooth is the icing on the cake. The fit is perfect, it's light, and so aerodynamic. And the Bluetooth works exceptionally. I hear perfectly and people don't have to keep asking to repeat what I said because they hear me clearly whether sitting still or at highway speeds. I recommend this helmet to everyone. And not a bad price either.

Soundtrack for my Ride
This review is for both the helmet, and Motorcycle Superstore. I ended up ordering from these folks when my local shop spent a week screwing around with my order, and still not producing more than a defective unit I had to return. Since I was confidant in the sizing, I decided to order online. Motorcycle Superstore had helmets in stock and I got two in a matter of days! The helmet itself is great. Fit is smaller than my Harley helmet (XS in Element, M in Harley Davidson). Pairing the helmet with my devices was easy, and my wife and I even paired our two helmets, though admittedly this takes a bit of effort and isn't quite as easy as pairing a phone/MP3 player. Overall comfort is good, and I'd definitely recommend this to someone looking for an audio option on their ride.

In my case the size runs a hair too tight.
Otherwise this is a fantastic helmet. I love the bluetooth capability. I can listen to my I-tunes off my I-phone and get interrupted with a phone call, have a conversation, and go back to my music - all while riding down the highway.
The visor lifts up easily and is easily changed out for a darker one if you get that.

So Far Sooooooo Good!
I almost sent the helmet back because it was a little tighter than my normal XL helmet. After putting it on a couple of times it seemed to break in my head and it feels pretty good now. The sound quality to me anyway is great I can hear my music great which is why I purchased the helmet in the first place I could care less about the phone but it works pretty well also. The quality seems pretty decent for the money and the Bluetooth is a definite plus.
Again the stereo headset is very nice I have been waiting for YEARS for this type of sound quality while I am on the road. I ride a ZX 1400 at a rapid rate of speed back and forth to work and again the sound is very decent and I am very pleased and I look forward to many years of use.
this is a major step for cyclist everywhere no more modifications to your helmet no bulky radio devices attached to your hat. Best of all the price is very competitive for a plain helmet the addition of a very decent Bluetooth setup is a bonus, I personally love it.

Very Satisfied
First off I called support to get an idea what helmet size I needed and got awesome customer support debating on the helmet they sold it to me not in a pushy way but very knowledgeable about their products.
Helmet is absolutely amazing. Got it plug it up let it charge sync my iphone and easy as pie. Features are extremely easy to understand. I have not yet used helmet to helmet but trying to talk all my friends into it for this reason. I use my Iphone and it will play the music bluetooth then a call will come in music fades answer call then I end call and music starts right back up.
Phone calls are extremely clear on both ends up till close to 80 like noted in other reviews but its not a problem just slow down lol. Music is a bit louder so you can clearly hear this up to 100 mph or more on the back roads and higher rpms so it works beautiful for me.
The only con I have and its nothing big is I got caught in the rain while coming home from work and the top vent allowed a little bit of water in. Dried up by the time I got home no problems.

Not so good
I have to say that I don’t think it is that great. I got it so I could use Bluetooth for phone and MP3s. It does both of those well and I can’t complain about that. The one thing that I don’t like is after a couple months the visor has seemed to not fit as snugly and it has lots of wind noise now. Not something I expected over only a few months. It also has a couple glued parts that have come loose with 75mph+ riding. Considering that you can mount it to any helmet, I think it is a better solution. I guess I learned the lesson that buy a helmet to be a helmet and get a voice system to do that. Don’t think the all-in-one will do everything.

Nice for the price
I purchased 2 of these, one for me and one for my my girlfriend. When using them with her as a passenger the communications are great and when she is riding her bike the communication is good but has a tendency to break up a little if you get over about 30 yds or more apart. When using the helmet to listen to music from your phone or MP3 player the sound is great. If you seem to have an issue with the speaker placement it's just a matter of repositioning the helmet or sticking your finger in it and moving the speakers a little. Phone calls are another matter, anything over about 40 mph....good luck, breaks up bad and you can't hear or transmit. Air flow could be better and chin strap placement should have been more forward.

The fit is great and the look is solid. The airflow is sufficient to keep the helmet from fogging. The placement of the button on the left side creates a lot of drag noise at speed, but the button has to go somewhere I guess. Connected flawlessly to my iPhone and both music and phone features work well. The phone feature isn't that useful on my Harley - it's just too loud, at any speed, to have a full on conversation. But having music on a long ride makes it completely worth the purchase!

Motorcycle Superstore is great. I measured my head several times before ordering this helmet and I own several helmets that fit fine. Make sure you order one size larger then you think you need or it will be too tight on your head. I live in Texas and have ridden with this helmet on a day that was 104 degrees. The airflow through this helmet is very good and the Bluetooth works great with my ear addition of iphone 3g. The sound quality is great with no wind noise when you take a phone call. I could have sent this back for a larger size but I just decided to keep it for my wife and order a larger one for me. I hope this helps, I know it hard to whip out $300.00 bucks for a helmet. I think it's a good value.

Awesome fit and BT feature! Needs better vents and more BT controls...
Just got this lid 2 weeks ago in matte black to match my Gixxer: Great looking lid indeed! BT works great for music, and calls but the controls only do volume, on and off. Does not have next/prev song control, which would be great! The speaker sound is just fine, but could be a little better noise reduction. The air vents work ok, but in real hot Florida days, we need more air moving through lid! Overall, this helmet fits great; the cost is just perfect for the BT feature... TOTALLY recommended!!

As with anything else "You get what you pay for". In this case the saying is TRUE. On the up side Good price, Fit is true to size (I wear a LG Shoei)LG fit right, Great looking, BLINC works just as advertised easy to sync with phone. The down side is marginal air flow I'm sure this is due to making the Blinc sound good (limiting flow for sound quality), shield is on the thin cheap side. This is not a Shoei or an Arai but is a nice helmet for the price.

"Can you roll up your windows?"
This was the comment I got when a client called me while I was doing 80 MPH on Highway 90 on my way to Sturgis earlier this month. So, I did as any marketing exec would do, I waved my fellow riders ahead and slowed to 65. "That's better, thanks." The helmet has a great fit. The Element fits very similar to the Shoei, which is to say, it fits snugly. The helmet comes with a power cord to power the hidden battery, and two deflectors. One for your nose the other for your chin. I removed the nose deflector, but used the material chin deflector to help reduce wind noise. The speakers are sewn into the chin straps and are well placed and padded. However, on the 13 hour ride from Omaha through the back-roads of Nebraska to Lead, SD the pressure on my ears got to me a little bit. But for 4-7 hour rides, you'll be fine. The sound is loud enough if make sure you turn the volume on your device all the way up, then manage the volume on the helmet. You're not going to get tumbling bass from this helmet, but you'll hear music and phone conversations clearly enough to help you enjoy the ride (and maybe get some work done). The straps are long and could stand to be 1-2 inches shorter, but the extra strap snaps in place and I never found it to be a nuisance. Ambient air noise was louder than my Shoei, but tolerable. The wind screen pops up easily and has a micro-notch so you can open it just a little bit to help with airflow, which wasn't exceptional with all the vents open. Although not much would help with the 95 degree heat we were riding in. I wore heavy leather gloves on this trip and managing the volume and call-receive button was easy. I purchased the dark smoke screen which was useless (about 10% darkness) and was subsequently returned. Until they make a mirrored or dark-dark-dark screen, I'm sticking with the clear. Overall, I would highly recommend this helmet and will probably buy another for my girlfriend.

Great helmet... One single flaw.
So if you liked the O'neal helmets from the past, you will enjoy this one too. Fitting is the same and so is quality. The Bluetooth feature is as good as any other. Talk feature is good up to 50 mph. Radio/iPod is even better. The chin flap helps when talking. There are two things that can be improved. First is the chin strap. It's way too far back and rides close to the neck sometimes becoming annoying as it rubs on your neck. And second, it's way too noisy. Unfortunately air comes up through the bottom near the back of the ear. Thinking of purchasing something that can adapt to deflect air. Worth the price over any other Bluetooth

I like the helmet, the bluetooth and the way it looks but when it rains it leaks at the top vent ports and the visor leaks a little. When traveling from Phila to Ga., ran into thunderstorms it didn't past the test. Great for clear weather. Haven't use it in the cold yet.

I had mixed feelings about this helmet but my fiancé bought it for me as a present. But overall it is a good helmet. It will play music well but not as good as headphones. However phone calls are clear and no one has a problem hearing me over the wind or the bike. I would definitely recommend this helmet.

Sound is Great
I almost sent this helmet back because the XL size seems a little smaller than my Icon hat; however after some intense moments it feels like it is starting to break my head in. As the Bluetooth stereo it sounds great to me, as with any helmet used on a motorcycle wind noise is a given but I can still communicate pretty good on the phone and the streaming music is great. This is exactly what I have been looking for the last 35 years. NO more earbuds, or cords, excellent!!! The helmet itself is pretty decent and the unit works fine at least to my taste. I am going to purchase one for the wife also, it is pretty cool.

Great value, at low speeds (below 40mph) the bluetooth works great. Above that speed it’s difficult to hear or be heard due to wind noise. Also, lens fogs up quickly, would recommend getting a fog-free lens replacement.

Quality Helmet
I was pleased to see how nice it was when it arrived. I am taking a half cross country trip next month and wanted something for the trip. Blue tooth pairs up easily after you find the code to enter for the devices. Sound is decent but effective. The speakers are real tiny so expect to hear plenty of the high treble sounds versus any lower bass sounds. Also there are no alternate visors available right now so that is another set back. Its a good buy and I am happy with the purchase overall.

Does as promised. Good fit. Could use a bit more airflow with the visor closed but it's ok. Bluetooth is the bomb. Can listen to music but still hear traffic if you like. Phone feature also works great. Has a little wind noise at freeway speeds but that's to be expected. Will get another soon for passenger link. I would recommend this helmet for sure.

Excellent value
Helmet took a few rides to break in, snug fit. Electronics work great. Do not have the volume problems others have mentioned. I make sure my MP3 is turned up all the way and use the helmet for volume control. Have never had helmet at full volume even @ 70+.... Phone works well but a little hard to hear at those speeds, need to slow below 70 (go figure) to have decent conversation. Overall a nice helmet with good features for an excellent price.

I bought one but wasn’t the right size and was missing a few items. I had reordered another one and sent the one back. I love the bluetooth part because I can receive calls but I use it mainly for music. My only complaint is that my forehead hits the front of the helmet and when I’m on a long ride it is a bit uncomfortable. The right side speaker isn’t very loud either. All in all I like the helmet and have no regrets buying it.

Found that my phone/mp3 player had two separate vol controls. One for music, one for phone conversation. After correcting, music volume is very acceptable. I have been very pleased with this helmet after about a thousand miles of use. Can recommend highly.

Awesome Helmet
So far this is the best, most practical helmet I have ever used. The helmet fits well and has good ventilation. It’s very sharp. The bluetooth is simply amazing. The sound is great and plenty loud enough. The problems about sound quality and volume from others reviewing are probably because they don’t have stereo bluetooth enabled on their devices. I have nothing but great things to say about this helmet.

Good, But Left Wanting More
Helmet does fog easily, mostly due to chin guard, which is in place to protect mic from wind noise. It is affective in doing that so I Feel it is a good trade off. Telephone conversations are amazingly good, even at highway speeds. Convos are crystal clear. Music on the other hand is a different story. Using my HTC Touch Diamond audio volumes are too low to hear above about 40 miles an hour, and that is a strain. I don’t feel the speakers are as optimally placed as they could be for my head and unfortunately you cannot adjust them. But if you only want to take calls with this helmet it is GREAT, sad the music audio isn't equally as good.

I bought this helmet and am totally satisfied. The speakers sound great and the response I get from people calling me is good too. They say that they hear no extra noise whatsoever. I think this is due to keeping the felt "chin flap" on the helmet. The helmet is so comfortable too. I'm not one to talk on the phone and be blasting the throttle so I don't have a problem hearing anything. I keep the talking on the phone and going fast separate. All and all I'm 100% satisfied and wouldn't recommend any other helmet to anyone.

The speakers are cheap and easily distort at full volume
but if you are in the city cruising or traveling under 50 the sound is great, and the phone call quality is good at low speeds. if you have a full faring there should be no problems with wind noise.

Good for the money.
I recently purchased the helmet so that I can communicate while on the road since I ride year round. After receiving the helmet, I tried setting up the Bluetooth and was having trouble getting it to connect with my phone. After messing with it for a while, it finally worked. The fit and everything else is fine, but the bluetooth buttons aren't very user friendly. A series of long beeps and having to hold the button for extended periods of time make the helmet a pain to use sometimes. The sound quality is "alright" at best. For the money, it's good for short trips.

Awesome!
This helmet is fantastic! And for those prices… trust me you won’t get a better deal. I have the helmet synched with my blackberry so I’m listening to music the whole time and I can also take calls. I also have it synched to a friend’s helmet and rides have become much more fun; besides if he is screwing up or taking the wrong turn, I can scream at him. The helmet to helmet communication is pretty good, works great to a distance of around 25 yards (highway). If you crank up the volume you can be having a conversation at 100 MPH, I wouldn’t recommend it thou. The speakers are ok; they work great for the comm, not so much for listening to music. I mean they are alright, but don’t be expecting great sound!

excellent & idiot-proof
Just got the helmet and I am thrilled! I bought a $38 bluetooth adapter from Sony for my ipod and am enjoying seamless streaming music without wires. The speakers are great and almost as good as "earbuds". The volume goes WAY up so that you can hear very well "at speed." In fact, at speeds under 60 mph, gotta turn it down. Initially, I thought that the speakers were weak, but then realized I had to adjust their positioning with my ears - as in, jiggle the helmet and/or push the speakers with a finger to be more in-line with my ears. Thereafter, I was very happy. The helmet works great with my bluetooth phone. Very very easy to link, and those I am speaking with are amazed that I am riding. Great audio too. An awesome helmet .... I am very happy.

Good Helmet
I bought this, primarily, to listen to music from my IPhone on my 32 mile ride one way everyday. It was tight initially, but has adjusted nicely. The chin strap is a little tight and feels as if it is made cheap. The 3G Phone pairs without the helmet easily and the call quality is very good. The listener just complain about a little buzzing noise but at 65 miles, I could hold a conversation (while safely riding in the low traffic times !). But IPhone OS 2.x disables the Bluetooth feature in IPOD. So I had to buy an AD2P Bluetooth Adapter and then pair it with the helmet. I used a 20$ discount code on the helmet, that covered the adapter. IPhone 3.0 OS available for consumers this summer enable the Bluetooth feature in IPOD (only for 3G Phones) and at that point I will be able to pair the IPhone directly and listen to music as well as take phone calls. The helmet automatically picks up calls after 3 rings which is great, you don’t have to move your hands. Redial feature is helpful. The best feature is the large volume button, makes it very easy to increase and decrease volume. I found the concentration on riding definitely takes a hit when you are talking on the phone but not much while listening to music, so I will be listening to music more than talk!

Excellent Technology That Actually Works!
This helmet works as stated. I purchased one of these a few weeks ago and returned it because my music player kept cutting out. The replacement did the same thing only not as bad. I moved the phone/player from my waist to my inside jacket pocket (closer to the helmet receiver) and it worked flawlessly. I also boosted my music player volume all the way and used the helmet volume control instead. This gave the helmet speakers more power. If you get a phone call the music player automatically cuts off and the call comes through. After the call hangs up the music resumes where it left off, all with no hands. I've cruised in the 60 mph range, the music and phone where loud and clear with volume to spare. If you want a Bluetooth that actually does what it says buy this. You won't be sorry.

Definetly Useful
I bought this for my husband a couple of months ago, and when he finally used it, he was pleasantly surprised. You can press the button on the outside of the helmet to answer calls, which makes it convenient to use while driving, which I wouldn't do personally, but people will. There is volume control so you can hear the person you are talking to no matter how noisy it is outside, unless you are passing a construction zone and they are using jackhammers or something like that. Overall, if you can afford it, and like to be able to talk on the phone while driving, this is great to have!

Great Bluetooth, but helmet sucks
The good: the Bluetooth works really good. Connected great to my phone and ipod. Music is stereo and sounds pretty good. It's not a high quality sound, but I didn't expect it to be. Calls work well under 60 mph, but speakers distort at the higher volume needed for highway speeds.
The bad: the visor is horrible. It's hard to open and close and is nearly impossible with one hand. At any speed above 30 with the visor closed, wind hits me across the center of the eyes causing my eyes to water. I think it's coming under the shield, but either way it's horrible to ride with. The chin guard is a total pain and nearly rips your face off if you forget to tuck it up when you put the helmet on. And finally the chin strap is really long.
Conclusion: love the Bluetooth portion, but it's not worth the pain of actually wearing the helmet.

Great Value & Technically Sound
I was suspicious considering the price point on the helmet, but what I discovered is everything works as described. The Helmet is quiet, comfortable and best yet the Bluetooth technology works. Connected to a blackberry and synced in no time. I am able to play music and of course take calls without a hitch thanks to the effective automatic muting capability which decreases the volume of your music so you can take the call. The volume is more than ample on my BMW and surprisingly clear on my Harley. Great Product!

Music Player Cuts Out
All is well with this helmet; accept while riding my music player cuts on and off. When stopped at traffic lights it works perfectly with no cut outs. As soon as I start to move it starts cutting in and out, very annoying. Judging from what I’ve read so far, I must have a defect.

Great Helmet!
Just got this helmet and I am pretty impressed with it! Have not gotten a chance to ride with it yet, but it's very sound proof just putting it on without riding. I paired it with my iPhone and it works perfect! Recommended!

The helmet fits well, i think the sizing is a little bigger than arai or suomy (i fit a small suomy, i ended up with an xs element). the chin cover works reasonably well in cool weather, but may increase the fogging you'll experience. the shield is super clear but feel a little thin compared to others. the bluetooth functionality works well, the speaker volume is good.

CANT BEAT IT!!
When I received the helmet I was really impressed with the quality. I think it is made very well! I tested out the sound with music and the phone at different speeds and it sounds very well! The price is the topper!!! Everyone that rides motorcycles needs one of these! Especially if you have a beautiful wife and son at home. They can now get hold of you in case of an emergency!!

Best helmet bluetooth solution out there!
I love the way this helmet looks and feels, but the best feature is definitely the BLINC bluetooth system it uses. It is extremely easy to use, especially while riding and the sound quality is excellent. People have no problem hearing you, either.
I ordered 2 of these (one was the new color design) for helmet-to-helmet connection with the wife, it works great! Battery life shouldn't be a problem, and you can always figure out what kind of battery comes with it and order a couple of spares so you can charge them and swap em in on those long trips.

Element - Fastrack Bluetooth Helmet
Great helmet, great fit and features. However I have returned two helmets because the plastic snap on the chin strap has broken. This was a poor design. If they could fix the snap this would be an even better helmet.

A Great Value
I have tried other more expensive helmets with Bluetooth and have had trouble getting connections. The Element paired easily. I'm not sure why some others report difficulty communicating at highway speeds. I ride a Valkyrie with six loud pipes and I can hear and be heard perfectly at 70+ mph. I did find the fit a little tight and rubbing on my forehead so I got a larger size and my wife is keeping the first one! Shop around. I don't think you'll find a better value for the money.

Great Idea but has some issues that need to be resolved
The helmet fits very well and the capabilities are great. However, the helmet allows too much wind to come in through the speaker at high speeds and has been causing me to have ear infections due to the amount of wind coming into my ear. This has happened on two separate occasions. Therefore, I will be returning this helmet and purchasing one of the other well-known brand helmets.

Simply The Best!
I just recently purchased this helmet and it has to be the best one I have ever owned! The Bluetooth was easy to setup and now I can talk or listen to music from my phone while on those long boring drives to school. The air flow on this helmet is perfect. I purchased a large and it fits a little bit tight but other than that this is your next helmet and you won't regret it.

Strap snap problems
Good fit, true to size. The only problem I have had with helmet is the snap on the chin strap is made out of cheep plastic and after only three times wearing the helmet the plastic snap broke not allowing me to snap the chin strap. I liked the helmet and was able to return and get credit and ordered another helmet.

This is a great helmet. It is made well and the Bluetooth works excellent! I can hear well going down the road and everyone else hears me good too. You can’t beat the price and it looks great. My only regret is that at this time the tinted shields are not available anywhere and I can’t wait to get a smoked one!

The helmet is good, it fits good, and is comfortable... The only problem i have with the helmet is that you cannot hear and it is hard to talk on the phone going down the road... It says that it is tested at like 55 riding on a Harley well it must have been a quite bike and and had a windshield, because on my motorcycle I can’t hear nothing from the wind blowing through it.. I have closed the vents and it didn’t help the only thing the helmet is good for is to listen to music cruising around town...

I got it last week and I couldn't wait to try it. My girlfriend called me while I was out and I didn't have to yell at all. I spoke at a normal tone and she could hear me perfectly. This definitely was a great investment for the price... The fit was comfortable and true to size...My buddies liked the style and got a kick out of the blue led flashing at night...I definitely recommend this item.

Bluetooth Helmet! Finally !!
What a great combination in a motorcycle helmet, Bluetooth!
Three years of ear plugs, wires, a pain.
With an added bluetooth transmitter i've sync'd a Sansa MP3 & an iPhone. The stereo sound in the helmet is very good as well as the built in microphone.
I would highly recommend this helmet to anyone who wants to listen to streaming music while riding.

Great Helmet!
I just got this helmet (in matte black) today, so I can't say much about long-term use or typical air flow..but first impressions are outstanding. The quality and fit seem decent--especially for the price. Though the matte finish (as most) is prone to fingerprints.
And bluetooth is included? What a deal! I can pair my ipod (thanks to a $20 bluetooth adapter) with the helmet and the music automatically cuts off when you receive an incoming call. Then resumes after you hang up. Outstanding.
Overall, I am very pleased with the product.

Element Bluetooth Helmet.
This helmet fits true to size. I usually wear a medium in a Suomy or Shoei and this helmet fit just right. There was one reviewer who said they run small, probably because he wears a KBC which are loose fitting helmets to begin with. Features seem to work good so far and I can play my downloaded tunes via bluetooth. The volume actually cranks pretty good too. For $269, Great buy.

Watch for the size, not bad overall
I bought a medium for my wife and an XL for me. I wear an XL in the KBC brand, so I figured I'd be safe with this one. Not so. The XL fit closer to a medium. I've since returned and ordered a XXL. We'll have to see how that fits. As for the features of this helmet, I am impressed. The bluetooth was easy to figure out and works very easily. Pairing to my cell was simple. Airflow is fantastic and the pads fit in all the right places. Overall the finish is excellent. No loose pads, misglued velcro, or loose vents. The breath deflector and chin guard are both functional without being burdensome. Time will tell as to how overall durable the helmet is. But, I bought to use with the wife when she rides with me. When I ride alone, I'd rather not have a phone ringing in my ear, so it'll be back to the KBC for the solo rides.
