  • Helmet can be used in three configurations: with visor and shield, with just shield, or with just visor
  • A wide, 3-dimensionally curved shield completely seals against the eyeport beading
  • Lightweight, Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus (AIM+) shell
  • Visor includes a front air intake to channel air into top of helmet
  • Shutter behind nose cover directs air flow to clear shield fogging
  • Fully removable 3-D interior, with 5-layer cheekpads that are channeled for eyeglasses

Daryl Fort Gibson,  OK Orange Sonora DS This helmet has turned out to be all I expected. Great chilly morning venting at the chin bar. Top of the helmet ventilation cools your bean on the hot days. Overall a great fitting...great looking helmet. It has started more conversations than my unusually good looks have!! HA!

Chuck Houston,  TX Hornet DS Helmet The helmet looks awesome, no doubt about that. The helmet has good airflow, fogging only on the dampest of cool mornings. The airflow contributes to the fact that the helmet is LOUD. Nothing earplugs can't mitigate though. The sun visor does well up to about 60-65 mph. 70 and above turning your head is kind of a pain. The plastic screws holding the sun visor in place are understandable as they should break should you hit face first. The plastic screws holding the face shield was a horrible idea, they basically shatter as you replace the face shield with a smoked one. Overall a good helmet if you are not far from the dirt and don't have too much highway ahead of you. Too much highway and the buffeting and the loudness can get tiresome. But it looks so freaking cool!

Shaman Hughes Clovis,  NM You get what you pay for, and this isn't cheap I can't fault anything about this helmet except the price. You can get a similar design for half of what you pay for the Shoei, but I wanted the peace of mind knowing I paid for quality. Now I can demand it. No reason to return this one; the air flow is excellent, and it's the most comfortable full-face I've ever worn. Ouch, my wallet hurts, but alas, peace of mind.
