charlie denver,  CO FS-15 GREAT lid! Mind you, I'm stepping up from a circa 2001 HJC CL-12. I've got an HJC-shaped head evidently, so the fit is similar to my old helmet. It feels lighter when I'm wearing it, though I don't think there's a lot of difference in actual weight. Something about how it sits on my head perhaps? It's quieter, despite having lots of vents and contouring, and it refuses to lift or buffet at freeway speeds. The visor stays closed with or without the visor lock engaged when I turn my head to the side. It looks & feels much more solid than my old HJC, and the vents are actually operable with gloves on! Pretty good lid for the price, wish I'd had the cash for the carbon.

David Collegeville,  PA Good Helmet - Does Tend to Fog Overall I like this helmet. Solid set of features at this price. Comfort is good. I do get fogging under certain conditions, especially stop and go in traffic, if I have the visor in the down and locked position. Keep the visor cracked and there are no problems. Have had some fogging on the open road with fogging during colder weather with visor down and locked. I tend to ride with it cracked slightly at all times.

Peter El Monte,  CA FS-15, a GREAT VALUE Prior to this helmet, I wore a CL-15. The FS-15 in comparison to the CL-15 is somewhat lighter, but feels MUCH lighter once I put it on. Aerodynamics is great. Venting is good. Don't expect a full rush of air with the top vent fully open; on hot days it does its job of venting out the hot air. Pinlock winshield with the lens inserted guarantees no fogging whatsoever! Liners are easily removable for cleaning. Only problem I have is that the visor doesn't seal very well when closed and on cold rides it allows cold air to seep through.

Joel Calgary,  AB Great helmet at a solid price. I went and tried this helmet on in my local motorcycle store to ensure proper fit. The solid matte black looks great although it does readily absorb the sun. The lens is very easy to adjust, even with gloves on and provides a wide field of vision. It is quite a bit cheaper to buy this at Motorcycle Superstore than at your local store. My only negative is that it fogs up at stop lights even with all the vents open. It looks like I'll be keeping the visor open a crack. Great helmet at a solid price!

George Feiser Plano,  TX HJC-FS-15 HELMET This is a good looking helmet with great features for comfort. When I purchase my second helmet for an additional rider I will be purchasing the same helmet.

Alex Alexandria,  VA Great helmet I bought this to replace my HJC AC-12 carbon fiber helmet. They have definitely made some improvements to this helmet. It has better airflow than the AC-12 the breath guard is a nice ad on, as well as the chin skirt. It uses the same face shields which is nice since I had some tinted ones from the AC-12. All in all it is a great helmet for the money.

samuel alonge tamaqua,  PA HJC Helmet Excellent quality fits great, good price. You need to get used to the cheek foam against your face if you’re not used to a full face helmet. Great airflow where you need it. I rate it a 5.

Ben North Providence,  RI HJC FS-15 To be fair I have not ridden my bike with the helmet yet so I can't give a full review. The helmet looks awesome in flat black, fit right to my size, and motorcycle superstore is A++ in both customer service and purchasing..as always. The only complaint with the helmet I have is the chin strap. The comfort fabric is not attached with strap so it feels a bit irritating. I hope that feeling goes away when riding. PS... Ben Spies (AMA Champion and now WSBK factory rider) not only helped develop the helmet but wears it racing so I'm sure my on the bike experience will be A++ also. Bottom line: Top of the line helmet for less than the bottom of the barrel that others make.

Gilbert Kleist Milwaukee,  WI HJC FS-15 Review I purchased this helmet as a secondary helmet to my Shoei TZ-R. I have to say that the HJC FS-15 has passed 90% of my expectations. It loves the highway. I barely noticed any helmet lift or resistance when turning my head to check blind spots. It doesn't fog as easy as my TZ-R and comes with a Pinlock ready visor already installed. The nose/breath guard snaps on and off easily, and the fitment chart was accurate. The visor is crystal clear and no distortions. Noise levels were similar. Airflow is decent, but I often have my visor cracked unless I'm on the highway or riding in the winter anyway... which leads to my only very minor complaint: Shoei's visor has more open positions than the HJC system.

Weo Milwaukee,  WI white FS-15 For an all around helmet at this price, I love it. I've had two Shoei FF's in the past (9 years altogether), both one size too large and the last a TZR. That is all I have to compare. Pros: 1. Decent ventilation and can easily adjust with gloves on 2. Not noticeably louder than my Shoei 3. Good fit and finish 4. Comes with "pinlock ready" shield (I've had good experience with the pinlock system) 5. Detachable breathguard included 6. No noticable aberrations on the highway 7. Very comfy lining Cons: 1. Shield does not have as many open positions as the Shoei 2. Like my Shoei, with the breathguard off the shield will fog (not using the pinlock) and with the guard on my glasses fog in cold enough weather 3. Chin vent hinges are tiny, and might not stand up to much abuse.

nick bettendorf,  IA ehh Nice helmet I had the exact same thing from HJC only one step down previously, I think I liked it better, this one tends to fog up at stop lights which is really annoying. Other than that I do like it though.
