Bought this helmet because others said it had good air flow. Need a cooler helmet for summer riding. But this helmet has a lot of noise. When wearing it and walking, it has an echo. Even with ear plugs, it has more noise than my old one. I usually wear an x small, but this one is very tight. Should have gotten the next size up. It also impeds my peripheral vision a bit. It wasn't very expensive, so I'll keep it and see if it is cooler in the summer. I do like the sun visor.

I purchased this helmet 2 years ago, and it's been a Great Helmet and the price was a real bonus! I use it for snow machining and love that I don't have to take it off to drink or eat when riding with the Boyz. This is one of the most comfortable helmets I have ever owned and would definitely purchase it again. If you're looking for the best bang for your buck this is it....Good luck and happy riding...

Great value. A bit noisy at higher speeds, but beats having bugs in your face if you typically ride with a half helmet. Great quality and paint. Would recommend.

This helmet fits very well and is nice and light weight. I have gotten several compliments on the colors. The visor is nice when the sun is in your face and the light in the back makes you very visible at night

I've had this helmet for about a month now and the reviews that others have given it are what I based my purchase on and as of now, I'm not disappointed. Real good airflow and less noise than my previous helmet (Nolan N41). And while it has less noise, I can actually hear better in this helmet too. The sound is as if I'm not wearing a helmet, unlike my previous lid which muffled everything. I would definitely recommend this to anyone on a budget that needs the airflow while still needing shielded protection.

We purchased two of these helmets. They are light, fit well and look good. The wind noise made it impossible to use our com gear (Cardo Scala Q2) at any speed over 35 mph. I do wish I didn't have to return them.

Good for round heads, visor not that helpful

Decent helmet over-all. Helmet fits well, but would fit better for rounder heads, my head is more oval shaped so the fit is loose around the ears. The visor might be helpful around noon-time, but other than that, it is not that helpful. I could not find a dark lens replacement so I wear sunglasses with the helmet. Helmet is lightweight and comfortable. I wore it in the rain today and it worked out well. The light on the back is an interesting idea, but I don't use it.

The GM-27 was a replacement for my Nolan N-41 (no longer available)of similar style which I use for warm weather. The LG fits my 22.5"(vice the 23.5-24" advertised)oval head well, the flip-up face shield has several indexed stops and when full down blocks wind and noise. It is much lighter than I expected and after the addition of some filler(weather striping) on the bottom edge of the ear cushions, is quiet enough so ear plugs are not needed (behind a windscreen on my BMW GS1150). I prefer a solid yellow colored lid but the white/silver is quite visible and the lighted feature is a novel safety device. The fit, finish, and function for me and my bike is excellent and the low price creates value too.

I was looking for a dot helmet with a sun visor and found three in my price range. This one was the only one that had a visor and removable liner like I wanted. The led light on the back is nice but I'm not sure I'll ever use it as I ride on back dirt road and rarely see another vehicle. The flow of air around the visor is good, I have not felt any wind resistances facing forward no matter what the angle my head is in and only a little when turning to the side. Nothing that I would call anything but minor, but these are slow speeds that I ride at too. The venting seems to be very extensive compared to my last helmet, large flow throw channels etc. but I have not tried it yet as the weather has turned cooler here. I ride all winter and so far I have not had wind leaks either. It fits me well and seem light on my head too... came with a nice helmet sock. The face visor is well cleared of the sun visor when moved into the up to the stops too so no scratches to deal with as others have reported with other makes of visor helmets. The sun visor is only plastic so I treat it carefully and I'm not sure how tough it would be in a drop or other such miss handlings. I'm very happy with this helmet and would not hesitate to buy another or to recommend this to a friend who was looking for this type of helmet.

Love this helmet for most normal weather riding. Visor is effective and causes very little drag and also protects the shield from scratches when it is flipped up. Not a fan of the flashy light thingy, but the electronics and batteries are easily removed to save weight. Airflow is not impressive, despite all the vents, but an open faced design is pretty cool anyway. Runs slightly larger than their size chart would suggest. I should have bought a medium even though my size is at the bottom of their large size range.
