Scott Azusa,  CA Mushroom Head Yes, it does give the mushroom head. Otherwise it's a great looking helmet. Fits good, feels good, looks good and the price is right. There is no snap on the strap to hook the extra length but there is a loop to put in through to keep it from whipping your face.

Steve D Zion,  IL Vega XTS Naked Leather Helmet (plain Black) This helmet is one of the lightest and smallest in appearance on the market that I am aware of. Those two features are the key reason I purchase the Vega XTS helmets (I have purchased a total of four to date both in leather and two other finishes). The XTS helmet does not look like a big mushroom on the head as other helmets do. Motorcycle-Superstore.com has a very competitive price on this helmet and their Customer Service is Great!!
