Amazing Helmet
I've only worn this once for around 25 miles but noticed the following: Fit - True to size but quite snug as other riders have noted. When I reached my destination I had marks on my face, but the fit during the ride was very comfy. This is a helmet you could ride with for 500+ miles; a step in the right direction from my HJC C-16. Features - Purchased the anti-fog smoke tinted lens with the original. The anti-fog actually works!!! Replacing the shield is very difficult; I have no idea how I'll be able to swap shields out at pit stops. The HJC C-16 was a breeze compared to this thing but perhaps over time things will "losen up". Chin strap has a nice snap mechanism to keep the excess strap from slapping you in the face, a little hard to get used to but I'm sure it'll be fine in time. All of the pads on the interior of the helmet are quality made and feel natural in their placement. Air flow - It was a 45* day when I rode so I had all the vents closed. I didn't freeze and felt comfy in the helmet...no warm/cold spots so the helmet did its job. Incredibly low wind noise!!! Appearance - I threw a coat of wax on the helmet prior to the ride and must say this has an amazing finish and quality in appearance. Cost Benefit - I would give this a 4 rating (because no one likes paying $500 for a helmet) but considering the helmet is rated on the European safety standard, has such a great finish and very limited wind noise it blows away other $500 helmets I've seen. My friend has a Shoei X12, wore it for 2 months and plans to go back to Arai because of the high amount of wind noise the X12 has, excessive fogging, discomfort during removal, and how the shell of his distorts when he puts on his Scala communicator. When I think that he paid more for that helmet than I did mine, either Shoei helmets are overpriced or this AGV is an incredible value.

Wow!
This is the first helmet that I have bought without having any problems. I have owned Scorpion 400EX-700EX-1000EX, Shoei TZ, Bell Star, KBC, Joe Rocket 101 and this is the first to wow me. Shoei - too much money and not enough product, Bell - too loose fitting, and Scorpion - with their shield removal. The vents work pretty good especially the mouth vent. It's like fountain of air. The fit of the helmet has a snug fit! I have to have a snug feel helmet like scorpion offers and this is right behind them but the AGV gives somewhat of a pre-curve pad for your cheeks to fit more natural. Overall the GP-Tech is a GREAT helmet, which comes with a nose guard and chin curtain, I know the price is stupid high but you really are paying for the quality.

Great helmet
This is a fantastic helmet with a lot of great features/benefits. One thing I noticed about the helmet is that the fit is rather snug for the first week or so. (Had me worried it was too small). You really need to break it in, but after you do, its one of the best fitting helmets you will own. The helmet has some wonderful graphics that the pictures don’t give enough justice to and the airflow starts working at around 20 mph. 3 adjustable vents; 1 chin, 2 forehead and 5 always open, extractor vents. Fully removable liner is easy to use and the helmet provides great vision. Only complaint is that the helmet is a bit pricy and when I went to order a replacement shield (dark smoke), they are impossible to find and back ordered until late may (however you may have more luck than me). I give this helmet a 9/10...great helmet!!
