For the cost of this helmet it is well worth the money. Starting from the looks to the air ventilation to the comfort, very well made. Definitely recommended.

Pros:
I finally found a pink gogo helmet to fit on it!
Features: The chin thing on the front is nice to keep the cold out.
You can remove everything for cleaning.
Everything hugs your face, I feel pretty protected in it. It's harder to get on then the other helmets I've tried, and stays on pretty good. Padding on the strap is comfy
Appearance: I like the rubatone finish. The top of my head looks like a transformer! *giggles* Close the vents to make its eyes silver.
Air Flow: I've never ridden a motorcycle before so this is my first helmet. I thought it was hot until I realized the mess the people were in next to me after riding. So it must be doing a pretty good job!

Nice helmet, just didn’t like buying the XL pads for extra space in the cheeks. Over all the helmet kicks ***. Its a good feature that you can switch out pads and take them all out to wash.

Airframe Sizing
I have owned an Icon Mainframe for 5 years now. I wanted to upgrade, and was looking to move to the newer Airframe model. My Mainframe is an XL, perfect fit. However I tried on an XL, XXL, and finally XXXL and the only one that fit me without crushing the crown of my skull was the XXXL! I wanted to advise people of this! This is a great helmet, but sizing may be an issue for owners of older model Icon helmets so if at all possible try these on in person before ordering online.

A-1 Product!!!!
Icon's Airframe helmets are the best I have own so far. Regardless on the design, this helmets is A-1! One of the best things about the helmet outside of the ventilation etc., is the locking shield device on these models. I have a Cousin who has an Ed Hardy helmet and changed his visor. One day while riding have the shield came of the helmet. With the Icon Airframe helmets this will never happen if you have the shield locks properly secure. Something to think about with other brands etc. That's one of the main reasons I own and recommend this helmet over a lot more costly brands!!!!

Love the helmet. I'm not into helmets but brought the airframe for the cold days and rainy days. Tried it yesterday and I loved it, doesn't fog, very good airflow. look forward on trying it in the summer.

Good Helmet
I like this helmet. My old Shoei finally wore out and I replaced it with an HJC CL-SP. While I like the look of the HJC, it just doesn't quite fit my head right. So I got the Icon and I am very pleased. It fits my head very well, even better than the Shoei did. My one gripe is the Icon emblem on the front. I would prefer a sticker that I could peel off, not a big deal, just a personal preference. I would buy it again.

Icon Airframe
My first helmet before this way the Icon Alliance, It had a basic top vent and front vent for the visor. When I first bought it, I loved it and thought there was nothing better. Obviously technology changes and progresses and the Airframe is definitely progression. There is more venting and the actual fit is way better. Even when I first put it on this helmet felt so much better than my Alliance. As far as looks go I'd like to have the Icon Domain or Domain 2. The Airframe is good looks with good cost, giving the best of both worlds. Icon is awesome!

Icon - Airframe Solid Rubatone Helmet
The airflow in this helmet is great. My head stays cool, but trying to get the right size can be painful. The cushion for my forehead is hard, but the helmet stays where it’s supposed to. Overall, this is a great helmet.

Icon - airframe rubatone
The Icon is considerably quieter and it has more air flow through the vents. The Icon has plenty of room for a big shnoz. The Icon is also lighter and the faster you go the lighter it gets thanks to the air foil on the back. I wear a medium and the Icon medium is snug as a bug.

I originally ordered a Large but it was too big for my 7 1/4 hat sized head. The medium sized helmet fit great. I am very pleased with the helmet overall. The design and shape of the helmet looks good and it is rather lightweight. I recommend this helmet to any rider looking for a good helmet that is willing to pay a little extra money.
