I wanted to like it, but it didn't fit
This was the second and last time I'll try to buy a helmet online without actually trying one on in a store. The Jiano looks like a great deal for the money, nice features and well made, but I ordered my usual XL and I could barely get my head in it. The good news is that returns are easy and hassle-free.

Finally
I've been waiting for a cool looking money-saving helmet that has all the features I could ever want, and here it is. their medium is between a medium and large in size and is perfect for me.
only drawback... No D rings. I actually hate D rings and I love that I can put this on and take it off with gloves on, but now I have to take the helmet indoors with me everywhere since I can't lock it to my bike via a D ring.

Really nice helmet, liked the features but found pressure point in forehead area a deal breaker.
Overall this helmet is a great buy. The features are really nice, the slider for the inner shade worked well, the ventilation was good, the rachet strap was easy to operate and in general the fit was good, true to size and well padded BUT, after wearing it for about 20 mins I had to take it off. I found that there was a pressure point just above the forehead area that may have been caused by a seam in the padding fabric. I think this a great helmet as long as you try it before you buy it.

Nice Features at a Great Price!
I just replaced a ten year old Shoei with this helmet. It has some nice features like the flip-down tinted shield. It is reasonably quiet. The thing I don't understand is why some helmets cost so damn much! If they come with a built-in Bluetooth then I could understand the upgrade in price, but $400.00 or more for a brain-bucket seems way over a proper price.

Great but one small thing...
This is a wonderful helmet. Very comfortable after its broken in. The only issue I have is cosmetic in that the neck roll pad scratches really easily. It doesn't affect the performance or anything, just odd to look at.

Vemar Jiano Modular Helmet
Great Helmet for the price. Fit initially a bit tight but soon settles in and becomes very comfortable. Drop down sunshield is great and comes down further than others I have tried, mine does not rattle as others have reported. Noise wise it is no noisier than any other of my helmets in fact possibly less noisy. Good side vision and the hardkote on the face shield is exactly that, very tough. An excellent higher end helmet at a very reasonable price. I have bought 2.

I love this helmet!
The only reason I haven't given it five stars across the board is because it's definitely rather noisy and you do need earplugs, but the fit is great and it feels really solid in the chin bar area. I initially ordered an HJC Symax II, which was a little cheaper, but the face shield came so close to my face it was actually touching. Also, the sun visor in that HJC was way too light. I really like this Vemar, especially when it's hot in SoCal and can just flip that visor up at the lights to cool off.

Vemar Helmet
Not a very tight fit, recommend going a size smaller. The black inside shield is very nice, but it shakes like crazy in the down position.

Snug on Size Big on Features
This is a great helmet with some nice features, especially for the price. I gave it a 4 out of 5 on the size since it was a little tighter than the other helmets I have at the same size. If your current helmet fits tight, I would recommend getting a bigger size with this one.
The Air flow is really great. I can actually feel the air pulling across the inside of the helmet, even at 40-45 mph. This is great for summer time riding; however if you are expecting to use this in the winter time, think again. The air flow is just too much for some the colder temperatures and it can't be stopped (barely slowed with all the vents shut).
The easy release chin strap is easy even with gloves. The shaded pull down visor works great but was a little sticky when I first used the helmet. After a few uses its easy to use at speed with gloves.
I would buy this helmet again.
