Vemar VTXE Solid Helmet
  • The VTXE features a mid oval shell shape which offers a more generous fit front to back and more snug fit ear to ear. The cheek pads are designed to perfectly follow the shape of the riders face and are molded from a proprietary material that has more memory then the foam used by the competitors, and consequently they are able to maintain their shape longer.
  • The exterior shell is constructed of a lightweight yet incredibly strong carbon fiber – aramidic – fiberglass blend. Exterior shell is aerodynamically shaped for ease of cutting through the air with less buffeting and wind noise, thus lessening the stress on the rider’s neck muscles after a long ride. Three sizes of outer shells cover the 8 helmet sizes for the ultimate in a light weight yet proportional fit. The VTXE features a double density high impact inner shell.
  • An anti-fog, non-scratch 2.2mm thick quick release clear shield is standard.
  • The VTXE visor mechanism has two key features. It is very easy and smooth to open and close while at the same time being very secure on the helmet in the event of a crash resulting in increased rider safety.
  • Removable and washable ultra plush non-deformable high density expanded polyurethane inner liner. Inner liner is manufactured from a technical fiber that provides life-long treatment against odor, fungus and bacteria, and extraordinary wicking capabilities that result in enhanced rider comfort. Chin and top of head ventilation system.
  • Padded chin strap with a micro adjustable closure buckle for fantastic comfort, easy operation and maximum safety. Padded wind deflector and removable breath deflector in the chin piece. Chin and top of head ventilation system. A fine screen is in the chin vent for insect protection.
  • A medium VTXE helmet weighs only 1520 grams or 3.3 pounds.
  • High quality, hand laid graphics under a thick layer of UV protective clear coating. Every Vemar helmet comes with a high quality helmet bag and a detailed user guide.
  • Five (5) year warrantee from manufacturing date, which equates to the full usable life of the helmet. DOT certified.

Mark H Yuma,  AZ VTXE Problems I purchased this helmet several months ago. Quality, fit, comfort, noise level are all first rate. Of the 3 helmets I own (1 ea. Icon and 1 ea. Scorpion EX700), this one is my fave. However, 2 problems have developed. When I received the helmet I immediately took the clear visor off and installed the tinted one (summer riding). I put the clear visor into storage (left the plastic on and placed it into a visor bag, kept inside the house). Yesterday I got it out and started prepping to install for winter riding. Peeled off the plastic and cleaned IAW the OEM instructions. When drying I noticed what appears to be a hole in the clear plastic coating on the inside of the visor and along the edge of the lower portion of the visor. Not good as the replacement visors are $60. a pop. Second problem: the area at the top of the visor opening on the front of the helmet(left hand side) is starting to get scratched from the opening/closing action of the tinted visor. I've attempted to re-adjust the visor to prevent this contact, but to no avail. Pity because otherwise this is a truly awesome helmet.

Mark Owen Albuquerque,  NM Great Helmet Excellent in fit and wearability, relatively light on the head. Internal airflow could be slightly better. Fine peripheral eye range. Does not shut out external sounds, which I prefer. Who wants to ride in a sealed bubble? Superior helmet bought at a great price.

Mark Heflin Yuma,  AZ Vemar WOW! This helmet is awesome. I had been very happy with both my Icon and Scorpion 700, but the VTXE is now the helmet of choice. Fit, style, comfort, low noise level, all first rate. I gave it a 4 for airflow, but in reality it's no better, no worse than either of my other helmets. None of them are really going to provide cool breezes to your coconut. Size chart was right on the money. Speaking of money, bought this on sale and the price was amazing. I tried on a Shoei and an Arai the last time I went to a bike shop and they were OK, but they didn't really blow me away. The VTXE is without a doubt the nicest lid I've worn.

Tripwire Lacombe,  LA Vemar - VTXE Solid Helmet Very quiet and comfortable helmet. The ventilation system could use a little help. It is approaching 100 degrees here. As much as I love the helmet for being quiet and comfy, I have reverted back to my flip up for mid day riding. Anything under 85* it's fine. For $200.00 bucks it's a steal. This is not a cheaply made helmet.

Cody Houston,  TX Vemar VTXE Matte Black I bought this helmet to replace my old hjc and let me tell it is quite an improvement. The helmet is very comfortable and has a very slim side to side shape for people with smaller heads. The liner is like a fine micro fiber. The vents are very easy to operate. The visor is solid and has many adjustment settings and is very easy to swap out with the smoked one it comes with. The finish on the helmet was perfect. Great buy I love this helmet.

Brian Brimley,  MI Vemar VTXE helmet After reading some positive reviews on this helmet I decided to find one to buy. I decided on MC Superstore b/c of great rep and a outstanding price. Once I received the helmet I liked the it's first impression but was surprised how hard the XXXL helmet was to put on. My head measures 25" and it was hard to put on my head. But, to my surprise once I had it on it fit well and felt very comfortable. It seems that in Vemar's very successful attempt to keep the helmet quiet that very same padding that was sealing out the noise also made it hard to put on for me. Overall I would give the Vemar VTXE helmet a 9.0 out of 10. The difficulty in putting the helmet on is outweighed by the high quality parts, finish and function .

Air flow was better than good and Motorcycle Superstore is the best! 1st helmet had a nick in side and all I had to do was call and they had it all worked out in no time. Sir Flinn New York,  NY Vemar - VTXE Solid Helmet Found this to be a very well crafted helmet. My only complaint would be that the air vents get stuck a bit from time to time.
