Vemar VSREV Helmet
  • The VSREV features a round shell shape which offers a more generous fit ear to ear and snugger fit front to back. The cheek pads are designed to perfectly follow the shape of the riders face and are molded from a proprietary material that has more memory then the foam used by the competitors, and consequently they are able to maintain their shape longer.
  • The exterior shell is constructed of a lightweight yet incredibly strong carbon fiber - aramidic - fiberglass blend. Exterior shell is aerodynamically shaped for ease of cutting through the air with less buffeting and wind noise, thus lessening the stress on the rider’s neck muscles after a long ride. Two sizes of outer shells cover the 4 helmet sizes for the ultimate in a light weight yet proportional fit.
  • An anti-fog, non-scratch 2.2mm thick clear shield is standard
  • The VSREV features a double density high impact air channeled inner shell. Features the exclusive “Vemar Klima” adjustable full ventilation system.
  • Removable and washable ultra plush non-deformable high density expanded polyurethane upper inner liner. Inner liner is manufactured from a technical fiber that provides life-long treatment against odor, fungus and bacteria, and extraordinary wicking capabilities that result in enhanced rider comfort.
  • Padded chin strap with double D-ring closure system. Padded wind deflector and removable breath deflector in the chin piece. Chin bar features breath exhaust vents on each side that work in conjunction with the no-fog shield to ensure that the shield will not fog even in the most adverse conditions. A fine screen is in the chin vent for insect protection.
  • A medium VSREV helmet weighs only 1470 grams or 3.2 pounds.
  • High quality, hand laid graphics under a thick layer of UV protective clear coating. Every Vemar helmet comes with a high quality helmet bag and a detailed user guide.
  • Five (5) year warrantee from manufacturing date, which equates to the full usable life of the helmet. DOT certified.

Gary Thornhill Temecula,  CA Vemar - VSREV Helemt Although I already own this model in blue, when I saw this helmet for $99, I had to buy a green one, too. This is a great fitting helmet for my oval shaped head. It is plush and comfortable, flows air well, does not fog badly, and is quite light at just a little over 3.6 lbs (medium). It is also quiet, the visor stays firmly in one of several positions, I can wear my sunglasses easily, it has excellent peripheral vision, plenty of room for my large nose (with the breath guard removed), and has nice aerodynamic qualities (no buffeting or wind generated issues). I only have a couple of nits, but they are far outweighed by the positive attributes. The first is the way the visor is secured in the closed position, which requires that you first push the visor out and then up to open. The second minor complaint is that the visor has a little waviness along the lower edge. I would be more concerned if the distortion were at eye level. However, this does not diminish the fact that this is a great helmet at a fantastic price (I paid over $280 for the first one), so long as you do not have a round head.

JBZ WPB,  FL Vemar VSREV blowout deal! Bought a closeout Vemar since I'd long wanted to try one of these Italian skidlids... Well, initial inspection showed very nice quality with terrific fit and finish both inside and out. Paint and graphics were flawless, not necessarily jaw dropping in design but very well done and vents looked adequate too. Interior is very well padded with nice ear pockets and what appears to be a pillfree liner with nice wicking properties. Amply wide opening in shell allows good side view and the 2 included shields: clear, and tinted, close to a good tight fit with no wind noise. On these closeout lids, the earlier non-tool free shield is in play however, my understanding is that the current stuff from Italy will be tools free...My overall impression, I find the Vemars are quite a nice value even at the standard discounted net prices when taking into account the materials used, fit/finish, features and safety ratings. This helmet has proved to be cool, quiet and comfortable for lengthy rides. I'm not switching to it as a daily helmet but I'll use it as a backup and or passenger spare, am very happy with the purchase...I ride with a freshly rebuilt Shoei Troy Lee SP II which is like an old friend if you know what I mean? Ride safe.

Charles Erie,  CO Italian Styling on a budget This is a great helmet and fits true to size and has lot of ventilation. I have never had a problem with fogging up and I have ridden in 30 degrees up to 80 degrees and feels like a dream.

Brian O Fallon,  MS Vemar VSREV helmet Bought on closeout, WHAT A GREAT DEAL! A true race helmet and it shows in quality, light weight, and fit-finish. Buy one or two if you can, you can't go wrong. Not sure why Vemar is pulling out of the market, but this helmet runs circles around my AGV. It's really difficult to find tinted visors though. Buy them while you can. Fit is true to size. One great helmet!

Jim Amboy,  IL Great Helmet Tried about 3 other helmets but this one by far the better of them all. Fit was perfect, liked the way it feels on my head went with the sizing chart. Size chart said I needed an X-large so I got an extra large and it worked. Very comfortable even the chin straps Looks-- are much better than the photo not showy as I was concerned about. Also like the visibility on this helmet, if it wasn't for the weight hard to tell I am looking thru a helmet. Ventilation could be better, and a little more quite would have been nice but not complaining.

FZR Dude Seattle,  WA Vemar VSREV Rocks Helmet is an awesome buy, the fit was perfect for me. Airflow is amazing and vents work very well. Loved that it came with tinted visor and helmet bag. Only down-side to helmet is that there is a tab with a nub that scratches the bottom part of the visor when closing which can be filed down easily. And that you need an Allen wrench to change visors. Other than those small details, VERY good helmet!

Tuan Germantown,  MD Awesome Helmet I like this helmet. I have a rather larger head than most ppl, so helmets like HJC, Arai, and Shoei squeezed my cheeks in. But this is fits perfect. Airflow is amazing. Cons: - the faceshield locks in place b/c this helmet was intended for racing, soo.. it is harder to flip the shield compared to other brands. - I dont like the star graphics on this helmet.. unless you want the patriotic look.
