Really Awesome...
This product is more than I could have ever imagined possible. The pricetag was extremely affordable compared to the amount of feature that it comes with. It has more features than my wife’s HJC helmet and it cost $20 less. The ventilation is great. I sweat a great deal during the summer and the airflow through the vents in the helmet cool my head off at an incredibly fast rate.

Great for price/ but not perfect
This helmet looks good and the price is right. Fit is nice, slightly snug and if you’re on the verge of moving up a size you may need to order it larger. Has nice airflow except around the mouth. This helmet will fog on humid early morning days with little breath. I have had to form my fourth to blow downward to avoid this. Maybe just Missouri weather, but it’s the only real big problem. This helmet is also loud and on long rides earplugs are needed. But for the cheap price and good looks especially in the black, you can’t go wrong. Comes with a tinted shield and cloth cover too. If this is your price range I recommend it, if you’re expecting an Arai than look for something else.

Awesome helmet
This was the first helmet that I ever bought brand new and it fits me extremely well. The extra smoke visor is perfect on sunny days. Oddly enough with all the vents this thing has it fogs up pretty easily if it's cold out and you stop for a few seconds. The graphics are really good looking and the comfort is outstanding. The LED's in the back should be good for keeping people from tailgating. And can't beat the price. Would definitely buy again.

Good Helmet
I bought the matte grey crusader and really like it. I went down with a HJC CL-14. This helmet has a more secure fit around the cheeks and has a better overall feel. I bought based purely off the Webbikeworld.com review. The airflow isn't as great as they make it seem, but for $120, I like it a lot.

I love this helmet. The flashing lights on the back are awesome and I really think they help keep people from tailgating for the most part. Everyone asks me if they are connected to my brake lights on the bike...maybe thats why everyone stays of my butt, course maybe its my driving...
The fit is good. The helmet is a little loud but, I think that's to be expected when you have so many vents. I haven't tried riding with the vents shut so I don't know if that would help with the sound. I'm getting this helmet for my wife too. Not the pink one though as she would kill me...

Great helemt for the price
I originally purchased the medium sized helmet, based on the GMAX sizing guide and found it to be too tight. The cheek areas were particularly snug and made the helmet unsuitable for long rides. Ordered a large and this fits great. I would highly recommend that you try on different sizes of this helmet before buying.
Looks- My teenage daughter says the helmet looks "BA" (bad-ass).
Fit- Great, but try on first
Quality- Decent for price
Visibility- Decent peripheral vision, visor is high-quality with minimal distortion (also includes tinted visor, too dark for my taste)
Air flow- seems good, but noisier than HJC or KBC. Since I wear earplugs, the noise is not a real issue.

Outstanding !!
I got this helmet just in time for spring & summer here in San Diego. The fit is excellent, and the air flow is outstanding. Everyone at work loves the design of the helmet. Great Value premiem features at budget price
I have had this helmet for about six months now. When I ordered it, it came with a clear and tinted visor, a lens bag, a helmet bag, and smoked cover for the rear lights. Both visors are great, but the dark visor has a cloudy tint to it. When I first got this helmet, the cheek pads had a tight fit, and were uncomfortable, but after about a week of wear they broke in, and are the perfect fit. The helmet is tight but not too tight. It is a very good looking helmet. I marked the airflow down 1 point because it has lots of vents, and makes plenty of whistles and noises, but for how much noise it makes it doesn’t vent that well, my HJC vented a little better with less noise and vents. I would buy another in a heartbeat, which is what I’m doing here in the first place, looking for new models. If gmax continues what they have started here, I will be a customer for life.

Almost Perfect
I bought this helmet after using a Hawk for several months. The only thing that I find that is not the best as can be is while riding at 40+ mph the wind starts to whistle in the helmet even with all vents open or closed, this is not a huge deal to me but if you are easily annoyed by this type of thing beware. This is the best fitting helmet I've tried. It does need to wear in and is the most comfortable after 5-6 days. I recommend this helmet to anyone looking for a good quality helmet at a reasonable price. Also, not in the description, it came with the tinted visor and a clear one and storage bags for the visor and helmet.

Excellent Helmet for the price!
I love the fit and I love the features. Very comfortable. The 2 diff shields are great. My LEDs stopped working after like a day. That angered me pretty much. I haven't taken the time to figure out what the problem is.

Great helmet, my brother and I both bought one. Air flow is really good with all the vents, but its still pretty cold outside so we'll see if its just as good in the summer. One of my vents whistles, but my brother hasn't had any complaints that i know of. Lights on the back are a great safety feature. Changing between the tinted and clear visors only takes about 5 seconds.

GMAX GM86 - great value
I think it’s a great value for the money - nice, removable liner, not too heavy, interesting design (mine is the blue/white which matches my jacket), LED lights on back, lots of vents. Few helmets come with a clear and a dark shield, plus a bag for the helmet and the shield. My only gripe is it isn't particularly long. On my non-faired SV650, above 80mph the pressure on the face pushes the helmet back so my nose just touches the padding on the breath deflector. This padding (which many helmet manufacturers in this price range skip) is removable though.

Simply Awesome
I own a HJC CL-15 and this one. The GMAX has so many more features. You get two visors (one clear, one smoke), the rear LED lights with three different settings (solid, 2 flashes per second, 4 flashes per second) for increased visibility. Has 5 top vents, 1 chin vents, and 4 auxiliary vents. Overall a great helmet, I would definitely get another one if mine ever needs replacing.

For the Price...You can't go Wrong!
First of all, I have had two HJC's, a Suomy, and now this helmet. The HJC's were both heavy helmets with pretty poor airflow, though the newer ones have gotten slightly better. The Suomy which was a $500 helmet has good airflow and an amazing visor that never fogged. Now the GMax helmet has the best ventilation I have ever felt. The sizes seem to run a little on the large side so be aware if you sometimes fall in between sizes. The helmet is super light and the addition of two visors included in the price is great! Extremely nice looking helmet, paint and clear coat may not seem as enduring as my Suomy or an Icon, but good none the less. The visor will fog slightly, but how many actually don't... Overall, this is the best helmet I have had for the price! Really, what do you have to lose? GO FOR IT!

Great helmet only one complaint
The helmet is great. The value was even better. I am happy with the interchangeable visors and the LED light is a great idea. The one thing I have been dissatisfied with is the fogging. I can't compare it to other helmets because it's the first enclosed helmet I've owned, but it fogs up when I'm not moving a little. Other than that, great helmet.

Whistlers Helmet
The fit is very good, but it falls short in other areas of ergonomics. The lining is nothing special, the face shield is not so perfect and it fogs up easily despite the breath guard, and the helmet make a variety of whistling noises above 35-40 mph. I suppose that if you were musical enough you could turn your head in various way and make a tune from the whistling, but for me it just gets annoying. The air flow is not that remarkable considering the number of vents. The chin vent mechanism is especially wimpy. The graphics are nice but the finish is only okay. But one shining feature of this helmet is the tail light, and it is the reason I bought it. It's a good value, but the whistling would prevent me from using it on more than my short commute.

I like the appearance of the helmet, and everybody is amassed of the price that I paid. I do wish you could feel more air flow in the helmet, its got a lot of vents b/c you can hear the noise (it a little loud). But its great for south FL.

Good Helmet
I would recommend this helmet based on comfort, air flow, the optically correct visor and other features for the price. I've worn several full face helmets over the years, Bell, Shoei, HJC's, and Fullmers. One of the best things about this helmet is the super clear visor that, at times, seems like you're not wearing a visor. It's got a pretty comfortable fit although the cheek pads are a little thick and snug for my liking which is why it gets a 4 not a 5. I agree with others that the fit is true to size. There's no problem fitting my sunglasses on around the ear pads either. It's fairly light, too. The other day a friend of mine who has one of those Harley half helmets that don't protect you at all, lifted mine up. He was surprised and commented that his is heavier feeling.

Outstanding Helmet
This is the best helmet value I've ever had. Light weight, great fit. I wear a 7 3/4 hat, with a round head shape and ordered the XL. At first it was snug, but after about a half dozen rides, it fits perfect. I can feel the padding all the way around my head, but no hot spots. I ordered the silver mirrored visor with the matte silver/grey helmet, looks great. Only con: when I turn my head to either side with all of the vents open, I get a slight whistle, but nothing too bad. The led lights in back work as advertised, and are a great added safety feature.

Crusader, good bang for the buck!
The reason I gave Fit a 4 was because it is tighter on my jaws than other helmets my size. (You will need to order one size larger than you normally do on this one.) I have a pretty square noggin and that is the only reason it gets a 4. It came with an extra smoked visor in it's own fleece like cover, an extra cover for the lights and a nice helmet bag. For the price of just over $100, what a deal. If you want a loaded helmet at a nice price, this is a good buy. I'd recommend it to folks that like the fit!!

Fantastic helmet
This helmet fits wonderfully, has amazing venting, and is inexpensive!! There are some downsides: lots of venting means a bit of noise/whistling. If you shut the vents it gets way better. Despite the "full-face" design, there isn't (or doesn't appear to be) impact foam in the chin area. I would still prefer the extra plastic bracing to nothing, but the helmet could be improved by adding foam here. The lights in the back work, and are bright enough that people can see them at night-nice safety feature. The graphics look wonderful. It is a really sharp and solid helmet for the price. I would buy again

A Very Good Helmet For An Even Better Price!
When I first got the helmet I had been scared I got it too small because it fit very tight but after a few rides it loosened to fit my head perfectly. It is now very comfortable to use. It flows amazingly and it is perfect for hot weather. The tinted visor is great and I dread when I have to use another helmet without one. The adjustment clicks for the visor are great because you can just crack up the visor maybe half an inch and let the air flow to your face without worrying about debris. Overall its a very good buy and I would not hesitate to buy it again.

Great Helmet for the Price
I got this helmet a few months ago, and for 100 bucks you can't beat it. Nice bag for it and 2 visors, cool design and the lights in the back. And just yesterday I had my first crash, high side when the front wheel locked up, and I can say that it saved my life. The back off the helmet where the LEDs are cracked and there’s some scratching on the back and some on the visor. So I'm going to be getting another GMAX helmet once I heal up and start riding again.

I got this helmet so that I could survive my commute in Georgia without overheating. The airflow of the helmet is excellent. The visor does not fog up at all and airflow does not get directed directly into the eyes. The fit is good, although it is a bit tight around the chin area, nothing major, it just takes some getting used to. The clarity of the visor is also excellent; sometimes I forget that I have the visor down.

A $100 Helmet? Really?
Yes, really. I have an enormous head, or at least the back of my head is rather bulbous, and the GM68 fits me wonderfully. I haven't gotten too much saddle time with it, but I'm pretty sure I won't get The Mark (that annoying red spot on your forehead) during extended rides. The number of vents seems excessive but is welcome, noise doesn't seem too bad probably due to the bit of fabric across the chin, and the LED running light is a welcome bell/whistle. After Motorcyclist magazine's expose on the cheaper helmets, I was willing to check one out and I was certainly not disappointed..

A great buy at this price.
I bought this helmet based on the good reviews I saw online. As far as value for money, it rates very high. Build quality seems very good. The removable liner snaps in and out with little or no trouble. Fit is very snug, but not uncomfortable. The only thing I wasn't completely expecting was the actual size of the helmet. Because of all the vents it really feels quite large. It's a minor thing, but that was my first impression.

Pros: inexpensive, relatively well fitting, lights add a bit of safety.
Cons: noisy above 30MPH. The face shield whistles as there is a split in the seal as well as an issue with fitting tightly at the top of the visor, and the foam doesn't fit tightly enough around the bottom of your head to eliminate that portion of the wind noise.
The sizing chart for me didn't work. I had to go one size higher. The effectiveness of the external vents is an unknown; there's so much other air in there due to the foam fitting problem, above, that I can't tell the difference when I close them. My thinking is that if the screen mesh in the vent holes was removed you'd get a substantial amount more flow. But I don't feel like modifying it to test my theory

When we arrived home after a day out, my helmet had been delivered. The entire family was there when I opened the box and all you heard was Wow! and Ohhh!!!;. That is how good this helmet looks. It is beautiful.
At the price of this helmet you'd expect a lot less. I was. I cannot express how surprised I was at how great this helmet is in every way. Fit-I wear a 7 5/8 fitted cap (Large, round head), I got this helmet in that size range and it fits perfectly. Features-Plenty of vents, LED on the back of helmet, easy to open visor, extra visor, all of the above...check! Air flow-Plenty. This helmet is beautiful! I got the black and silver one...Gorgeous! Cost Benefit- Pfftt! Look at the rest of this review. You would expect a helmet like this to easily be at least twice what it costs here. This helmet is truly money well spent and you won't be disappointed. I'm getting ready to purchase another and possibly two more (my girl and my son's love it as well).
I'm not one who usually writes long reviews, but this one is an indication of how impressed I am by this helmet.

Nice helmet - Fit is decent for a guy with a big head like me. Cheeks are a bit squeezed but feels fine that way. Air runs through it nicely and cools the head a lot. The only problem is because of the airflow there's quite a bit of noise at higher speeds which can be reduced or killed with earphones or earplugs. Probably the best bang-for-your-buck helmet.

Nice helmet, but not sure I have the right size.
Before ordering this helmet online, I tried on a lot of different models & checked a lot of different size charts. My head falls into the medium size catergory for most helmets, but is on the large side of the medium size range. I used my new helmet in the MSF basic rider course over the weekend. It was really fun. My only complaint about the helmet is that the cheek pads are kind of tight because I had sore face muscles after using it for 2 days. Not sure if that can be fixed or not...or if I shouldn't grin so much when I ride.

I've been pretty satisfied with this helmet, and at this price it is hard to complain. The only things I would warn is that it is quite loud, (although you can probably tape off vents to quiet it), and their size chart is not quite accurate. I measured to the low end of the size Small but went with a Medium based on other reviews. The medium just barely fits... so just another vote to order larger than you think. The extra shield and rear light are great, and I would definitely order this helmet again (but with a larger size!)

No more excuses NOT having a top-shelf full-face helmet boys and girls! The cost here is incredibly low. Comfort is almost perfect - my large-ish ears took a while to get used to being boxed in. The graphics on all GMax helmets are as good as it gets. LOVE the continuously adjustable face shield. Put it where you want it and it stays even at 70 mph! LOVE the lights in back.

Best Buy for the $$$
This was my 1st GMax helmet, bought a yellow 38S as well. Two other commentators said, "buy the GMax a size larger than you normally wear." They are correct. I normally wear an XL--tried on at a local bike shop and it was like putting my head in a vise. Bought both in an XXL and fit perfectly. Both are a little noisy when you get up to about 45 and > but bearable. Asked cop buddy of mine about the flashing red lights and he said, "I think it's a great feature, I can't figure why a cop would stop you for it, all helmets should have it as an option." Highly recommend this helmet for fit, appearance, and the safety aspect of the flashing lights.

The vents are awesome for cooling and the liner pulls sweat away from your head. I like the fact it comes with the tinted shield also, and for the price you can’t go wrong. Well I purchased this helmet, based on the reviews. When I got it in, the led switch was broken. So I am waiting to see if they have another blue one in stock. It fit a little big for me, but feels really nice. The ventilation system is the best I have ever seen. When you get up to around 55 or 60, better have mp3 or ear plugs, cause it is LOUD! I have noticed if you leave the middle vent open, its not quite as loud as when you close it. The graphics are really nice. The fact of it coming with 2 shields is awesome. Best buy for the money for sure!!!

Only downside is it is loud, but if you are like me once you get riding you tone it out. I usually ride with MP3 and don’t even notice when music is playing. Best Helmet For The Money
I had a Shoei TZ-R before I got this helmet and the GM68 is better than the TZ-R in every way. I would sweat to the point of dehydration in the Shoei, but not in this thing. I rode for about 2 hours in 100+ degree weather and I was fine. Came with a helmet bag, a tinted shield, a shield bag, and an extra tinted shield for the LED’s on the back. The visors are the best visors I've ever seen. They're so incredibly clear. It's got more features than I really care to list. Just get the helmet.

Purchased one size too small but after a week or so of riding fits loose. Very noisy, but that is because of the vents. Compliments all the time on the helmet with the dark smoke visor. Great helmet at under 130mph, after that it begins to rattle your head. But well worth the money.

For the money this helmet is not too bad. Nice look with the graphics. The helmet is set up with a lot of visual vents, but it does not flow well. Pretty hot in Atlanta. Will keep as a spare, went with a Nolan N102 for everyday riding.

The GM68 is a great value helmet. You get a lot of extra features at a terrific price. The wind flow is excellent and very appreciated in 100 degree heat. It is a noisy helmet however but if you usually use ear plugs like I do it doesn't matter. Overall a total bargain deal and perfect for summer riding.

Although I have only worn this helmet twice due to not being able to find a tire for my bike, my initial thoughts of the helmet are all positive. It fits snugly but is still comfortable, has a lot of ventilation, and seems to be a good bang for the buck. I’m going to get another for my girlfriend soon!

My first helmet since a Shoei RF-900... And overall I'd say it was a good purchase, definitely for the price. I would characterize my head as a "neutral" to "roundish" shape and the fit is good and true to sizing (large for me, 7.5 hat size). The vents are good but feel a bit cheap. Plenty of air flow. The appearance is good (I have the mat silver). There were a couple of minor defects in the paint not noticeable unless you are looking for them. My only real big problem is this helmet is pretty noisy. I get a lot of wind noise even with all vents closed.

Such a great helmet!
I love everything about this helmet. It fits great and snug, breathes incredibly well, keeping my head as cool as you could want in 100+ degree riding, while still feeling safe. The design just looks AWESOME, and the added light on the rear (with included batteries, I might add) is just a great extra benefit. Then there's also both a clear and a dark visor thrown in too. Why would I ever pay more for a helmet this great? Precisely - I wouldn't need to.

For the Price, You Can't beat It!
When I first received the helmet, the blinking lights in the rear must have been activated during shipping as they were very dim and blinking rapidly, but since they include a spare set along with the tinted lenses, it wasn’t a big deal. The helmet itself vents like a champion and I can now see why it has gotten such great reviews! The optical quality of the 2 visors are clearer then my $250 Oakley’s, I have no idea how they do that.

Very good helmet
The most comfortable helmet I've used so far. The graphics are excellent and changing the lens is easy. With all the vents this helmet has, over 8, I was expecting air to flow better but it's decent. The led lights in the back are a bonus and are the best feature. All in all for the price it's excellent. Comes with a dark lens and little bag to keep the helmet in as well.

This is the best $100 helmet!
Anyone who looks at this helmet assumes that it cost at least $300. The helmet actually looks better in person than it does online. You won't be disappointed with the finish. The visor comes off pretty easily, but I have left the tinted visor on. The only thing that I expected was more air in the top of the helmet. It has 5 vents up there, but not as much air as I expected.

Great Helmet for a Small Head
This is a can't be beat helmet, as long as you get the size right. I read that the helmet sizes feel like the actual size but found that they run very small. I decided to give this helmet a chance due to the LARGE list of features and EXTREMELY affordable price, but when I ordered a large it wouldn't go past my nose. I have other helmets in large that fit me perfect. Luckily I was also searching for a helmet for my girlfriend and it fit her perfectly! She normally wears a small to medium. Love the lid. The fit rocks. The rear portion at the neck seems a bit higher (less coverage) than my Shoei X8 Air, and the chin seems a bit higher as well (just beyond flush measured at the chin). I don't think that there is a fit issue; I'm just accustomed to a bit more coverage. Just a bit noisier (however I wear ear plugs so the noise is not an issue) but no significant complaints. I pulled the curtain to see if there was a noise difference and there is--LEAVE THE CURTAIN IN. Airflow is good; there is a noticeable DT like there's supposed to be. Good buy for the dollar. Makes me look like a rock star! I ride a VFR800.

Best helmet I have ever seen for the money. The fit is perfect, and it is cool even in one of the sweatiest cities in the country. The only thing I could caution is that with all that air circulation comes a bit of noise, but I am willing to put up with it for the coolness and the quality. The visors are flawless and since it comes with two... WOW! A must buy for warm-weather riding.

I have two other full face helmets and bought this on mainly for the style and air flow after reading the webbikereview. The styling is the best I have ever seen and have gotten more compliments than any other lid I have ever owned in 12 years of riding. It is by far the most value packed helmet for the price. It feels light on my head, keeps me cool, keeps me alive (I do like the lights too), and is 1/3 of what it should cost.

GMAX Crusader Helmet
An excellent buy. I normally wear a large; the GMAX large is very snug on my head. However, I think a XL might have been a bit "roomy", so I'm keeping what I have. The Graphics on my "Crusader Matte finish" are so good, I almost wish I would have ordered a painted version so I could see the effect of the gloss on the finish. I am very happy with this helmet, worth much more than the price. Venting is very good; finish of the interior of the helmet is not up to the high end Shark that it is replacing, but well beyond the price point. Haven't had the occasion to use the rear light feature yet, but I think anything that increases your visibility has to be good. Can't recommend it any higher.

Awesome summer helmet for the price, a lot of air flows and amazing graphics! I get compliments everywhere, I drive a white limited BUSA with a white BUSA Joe Rocket jacket, so imagine that combination with this helmet and people think I paid over $400 for it! And a light feature included! Are you kidding me? All this for $100, wow! The only thing is the interior cushion looks and feels pretty cheap, but come on! What more would you be expecting for the price? An ARAI or SHOEI interior cushions and comfort? Anyways, I'm super happy with it and I recommend it to everybody. Thanks and Live to Ride or Die!!!!!!

After a lot of shopping around online I bought this helmet and am totally satisfied with my choice. The fit is snug without being too tight throughout the helmet and cheek area. The airflow is FANTASTIC, perfect for hot summer days in Georgia; the wind noise is barely noticeable with earplugs or my iPod. The helmet is gorgeous; I get lots of compliments on it. The lights on the back are definitely a great additional safety feature without being tacky. I would highly recommend this helmet to anyone.

Excellent Helmet
After a lot of research online I purchased this helmet, and it was definitely the right choice. The helmet fit is snug throughout the helmet, around the cheek area it is a little tighter than I am used to but it is not yet broken in. The shields (yes you get more than one screen) are crystal clear; this was a big change from my last helmet with scratches and cracks all over the shield. The Airflow is Amazing, and in regards to the wind noise, it is less than my HJC CL-15, although whenever I ride I used earplug headphones which I strongly recommend for long trips with any helmet. The appearance of the helmet are gorgeous, I definitely get looks everywhere I go. The lights on the back are in NO way tacky, and serve a great purpose during night/low visibility riding. For the price you CANNOT beat this helmet.

The other reviews are accurate for this helmet. It is a good value, with some neat features. It is designed for the "round" head. I order a large and the sizing is true. I would describe this as an ideal commuter helmet with the vents and the rear light. At speed it is affected by turbulence, and I suspect some higher-end helmets may be much more aerodynamic above 65 mph. The visor works as advertised and overall I am very satisfied with this helmet.

Great Helmet But Very Noisy
I’ve been riding with this helmet now for several months and I can say without a doubt that it’s a very nice summer time helmet. The tinted and clear shields are really well made no distortions what’s so ever across the entire peripheral viewing range, which is also very good, fit and finish is up there with helmets costing hundreds more and man does this helmet flow some air, on hundred degree days I have no problems keeping my head cool; sadly, all that air flow comes at a price and that price is noise and a lot of it.

I've been using this helmet for about a month. And really like it.
Pros - fits true to size. Incredibly good airflow. Really like the LED lights on the back - great safety feature. Surprisingly nice graphics/paint. Easily changed and very optically clear face shields.
Cons - Well, it is very noisy. I think any helmet with this much ventilation would be as well.
I wish they would come up with a modular version of this helmet!

Great Helmet!!
I bought this helmet for the airflow, due to the HOT summers in the Central Valley. So far, it has worked great! I haven't sweat in the helmet once. The vents make it a bit louder than other helmets, but with earplugs or my iPod, you don't notice it. The tinted lenses for the led lights and visor are great. Fit is good, but I have a narrow oval head so trying to find a perfect fit is nearly impossible for me anyway. The clarity of the visors is awesome! It feels like there is not even a visor there. Graphics are cool and distinctive. I get lots of compliments on it. BUY THIS HELMET...YOU WILL LIKE IT!!!

After reading the reviews on this helmet I decided to buy it and I am glad I did. Since it stays hot here in MS most of the time I wanted a well ventilated helmet and I have not seen any other helmet with more airflow. It is a bit noisy but that is greatly reduced if you wear ear plugs. The visors are just as everyone else has mentioned...so clear you forget they are there. The sizing chart said I needed an X-small but I ordered a small and it fits perfect. I highly recommend this helmet...just be prepared to start wearing ear plugs if you don't already.

The helmet look great, vented great, lights lit up with batteries already in, the tinted visor and tinted light covers looked awesome and were easy to change and the removable padding is a nice feature. Nice helmet for low $100. The only thing that annoyed me was the helmet is surprisingly quite, until u get your head right above the windscreen in a pretty low, but not extremely low position it gets really loud. So it’s quiet when you are going slow, sitting high or laying really low, but it def gets loud in a pretty important position for me. I wear a medium HJC and this medium was just a bit tighter, but not too tight and they all stretch a bit anyway...

The best helmet I have worn
The price and review at Webbikeworld.com was what interested me in it. I bought it and WOW what a great helmet. No one can believe I only payed $100 for it! The graphics are as good or better than the Shoei lids I've had and the fit is better than Arai. You will not be let down with this lid, I assure you. The ony thing that was weird at first was how close the front is to my mouth(I can kiss it while riding).

GMax - GM68 Crusader Helmet
Well, after ridding around with this thing for about a month I guess I can have some comments. First it fits true to size for me. I have an AGV Stealth and Scorpion EXO 700 all in large so you should feel confident about that. Fit and finish is very nice feature. One thing though, this thing is LOUD. I thought my AGV was loud but this thing bites the cake. Even with all the vents closed no difference. I even wear the rubber kind of head phones that act as ear plugs and let me tell you, when you tuck under the screen, it goes from kind of loud, to blasting your ears with low frequency noise. It does flow a lot of air with the vents open though, so it is definitely a good summer helmet. The light feature is pretty nifty which is why I primarily wear this helmet at night, though mine was messed up and took some modifying to get it to work right; didn’t want to have to wait for an exchange. All I can think of now, a good buy for ~$100 overall though. Have a good day :)

Outstanding Summer Helmet!
Riding around in Southern Texas can get pretty HOT during the Spring/Summer months! I have been using my Nolan N-102 for the past two years, but happened to read a review on Web Bike World about the GMAX GM68S Crusader. This helmet is fantastic. The venting is perfect, allowing for a huge volume of air to flow in and out of the helmet, keeping my head cool and dry. I added a bit of Velcro in the ear canals, so I could attach padding to keep the noise level down some. I wear earplugs on every ride anyway, so this helps out as well. The GM68S is quieter and lighter than my Nolan N-102, and I consider the included Dark Face shield with Fleece Cover, Helmet Fleece Cover, and Extra Rear Light Lens, to be an added BONUS for under $110! Thank You GMAX! I can ride comfortably in the Texas Summer's now! How about adding a Flip-Up Modular version of this Helmet to your lineup? You wouldn't be able to keep these on the shelves!

I really wanted to like this helmet but there was not enough room in the chin for me. My lips were pressed up against the chin bar. Maybe it was just because I have a big head and tried an XL, I returned it and went with a XXL HJC AC12

The many vents on the helmet provide great air circulation. All of the other options including the LED on the back of the helmet and the included tinted visor make this helmet a great deal at the price.

Fit is accurate in sizing but overall the helmet sits quite high on the head. This means for me that the chin bar is very close to your nose and at speed wind resistance pushed it back to be touching which is annoying. Fixed this by super gluing the inside front of the chin bar to the forward liner. This is just enough to provide clearance (at least for me).Finish is pretty good and the face shield removal and fit is first class. Note the "grey" flat finish is a little unusual in color. It would be helpful if they provided earpieces for the cavities but I had some spares which fitted well enough. Seemed average for noise levels, about the same as my KBC and Arai. Features are great and overall this helmet is excellent value for money.

Gmax GM58- Cheap, but good
I like the paint, I like the air flow, and I like the optics....still I almost returned it. If you only have a hundred bucks this is a nice lid. If you can swing 300ish I think you can do much better. The fit is a little odd, very tight against the top of my head and my lips pretty much press on the strip up front. The helmet makes creaking noises while riding, and just does not feel solid. This may be because I am coming from a snell helmet. The air flow is incredible for summer riding. This is why I decided to keep it. Amazing airflow...and what comes with that? Wind noise! Order some ear plugs while you’re at it.

Just Rode All Weekend!!!
This past weekend it was gorgeous here in Nebraska. I went riding pretty much all weekend long, Saturday through Sunday. It was my first time trying out my new helmet and I absolutely loved it. Had many people compliment me on the style and graphics. This helmet is definitely unique, something I appreciate. I love the fact that it came with a tinted visor. It worked well with the sunny weather. I love this helmet and have no regrets whatsoever about buying it. It is definitely the best bang for your buck. A Really Superb Helmet!
I bought this helmet as a result of a review I read on webBikeWorld where it was named helmet of the year for 2007. These helmets fit round heads so at 61 cm with oval head, I went the next size up to XL and the fit is perfect. The optics in the visor are so good that I've wobbled my eyes around to focus on it and I literally can't see it. Opening all the vents didn't add much to the noise level. Love the graphics. At $107, this has to be the deal of the year, especially when you factor in the features such as the helmet bag, LEDs and the smoke visor.

Cool looking, but.............................
When this arrived I was all psyched up about the light and the graphics. On my first ride I was frightened at how loud the passing wind was through the many vents. Yes it is defiantly a LOUD helmet to say the least. On the flip side it did fit well and looked cool. I did return it though because the wind noise gets old after a while.

GMax after 1500 miles
I like it: the GMax is quieter and cooler than the Fulmer I've been wearing (the only other bucket I have experience with). It's less prone to fogging, has room for ear buds, and has a big, optically clear faceshield. I'm even getting used to the way it looks (not so garish, I'm told, from ten feet away, and more visible than the flat black I would have ordered had they been available). Used so far in temps between 28 and 75; vents are easy to operate and do the job. Size large fits well on my 60 cm oval head. I'm glad I got it.

I have used the helmet for a month, including both shields. The helmet is great overall. The only issue is that the cheek pads are obviously for the slimmer (less filling of the skin) physique. Chewing gum would result in biting the inside of your cheek. Other than that, the construction is great, the airflow is controllable, the visors are stiff, and the helmet has detents to allow airflow under the visor.

I love this GMax helmet! I was a little skeptical at first, but it's the most comfortable, best fitting helmet I've ever had. I saw that I could order from Motorcycle Superstore for about $50 less than the dealership, you can't beat $107, no tax and free shipping! I love everything about this helmet, the graphics, the cost, and the features. I ordered 1 size larger than what GMax recommended. I've had the helmet for a little over a week and have had it on for hours at a time with no problems. As far as the wind noise from the vents, that doesn't bother me. I just look at it like, I'm on a motorcycle, and I'm going to have a little outside noise. I would take all those vents over none or just a couple as some of the other helmets have. I ride in Florida, 50 miles/day interstate. I needed a helmet that was comfortable and had good venting. Excellent venting, excellent optics in BOTH shields (used every day), excellent quick release on shield and excellent price. I like the light in the back since I ride before the sun comes up. I was told it was a round head fit but it is not. More oval than the Shoei RF-1000's. Can feel drag on the helmet when I turn my head to look for traffic. Not significant enough to bother me but could be better.

What more can I say than great helmet. It fits true to size and is loaded with features. Numerous vents keep you cool and add minimal wind resistance. Visor is sturdy and clear and offers a wide view, and it comes with some great graphics. All this and less than $150. Can’t beat the value. I wouldn’t put this helmet in league with the $500 and up helmets but if you are looking for a good helmet on a modest budget this is the one for you. I read the webbikeworld review and got this helmet. I have a pretty large round head, and it fit perfectly (size L). I’m really pleased with it, and hope that it will serve it’s purpose. However, this is still a $110 helmet, so there are places where things just feel "cheap" in terms of the finish. I don't regret this purchase at all, and I recommend it.

Great helmet for the price! $100 bucks and a ton a features. What’s not to like? The optics are great, the paint job is great and the visor seals well, the only complaint I have is the noise level is a bit loud. The booming sound you get from underneath makes you want to have ear plugs. The HJC jabberbox headphones fit right in and it’s like the helmet was designed to accept the headphones. But its worth having as your everyday helmet or a great back up.

Wore this helmet several times. I have a hard time getting full face helmets to fit comfortably, but this is one fit great. Noise is average when riding but everything else was great. I decided to buy a DOT only helmet and was drawn to the GMax because of the rear light. The review on webBike sealed the deal. I've been using the helmet for just over a month and I really like it. It fits a bit tighter than my HJC but I've become used to it and there is no helmet movement while riding at all. The only downside is that it is a noisy helmet, which some reviews have mentioned. I haven't ridden any long distances yet so I haven't tried it out with my iPod. I imagine that I will go buy some thin but dense foam and install it in the ear cup areas of the helmet. One nice thing about the noise (really the lack of noise dampening) is that I can really hear my motorcycle well. The noise level isn't enough to make me stop wearing the helmet and I really love all the other features so the GMax is a winner in my book.

Gmax G68... Helmet of the year !
I grabbed this helmet after webikeworld.com rated the Gmax G68 "helmet of the year". I've had an OGK FF4, Arai Corsair , Shark RSR2 and quite a few other lids....including some $100-$200 priced ones. This helmet is a deal. If it fits your head....it'll fit your budget. Mine will be my "to work and back" helmet.

I'd buy another one!!
Sizing was just right after the initial break in period. The LED lights on the back are a great safety feature and look pretty cool as well! I'm waiting for summer to fully take advantage of all the cooling vents for those hot summer days. For the price, can't be beat! Will probably end up buying another one in the future.

I saw the review on webbikeworld.com and found that they gave it a high rating for such a low priced helmet, visibility, and it had additional venting as well as rear lights for the night and it came with an additional smoked visor. Great fit, looks good, great price and better features than better brands.

VERY NICE!!!!
This is a very nice helmet on par with the Scorpions except much less expensive. I just used the GMax to take the Rider Course this past weekend and it worked like a dream! The fit is a little snug so you may want to think about ordering up a size if you are on the upper end of a size level. With the extra shield and LED lens this is a value that you can't beat with a stick!

Helmet fits really well. In colder weather the windscreen will fog up somewhat when at a stand still. Not really an issue since the visor can be opened just a crack with no problems. Ventilation is very good overall. Finish also very good. At highway speed the helmet behaves very well, little to no movement. It is a little noisy when on the freeway, but again not really an issue since I wear earplugs. Very pleased with this purchase and this product. This is definitely one of those under the radar, huge bang for-the-buck deals that you only hear about and rarely get to enjoy yourself. I would and have recommended this helmet to my friends. Gmax and Motorcycle Superstore rock!

GMax -GM68 Crusader Helment
A review on the Victory M/C website led me to this helmet. I did shop locally for this helmet, but the cost was at least $30 more than M/C Superstores price. The fit is very good although it does press against my cheeks tight. The finish is excellent. The face shields are incredibly clear. Sometimes I have to touch the clear one to make sure its there. It will fog up at a stop. I recommend it.

Great Value!!!
This could be the best valued helmet on the market. The finish, features and accessories are spot on. I wish other helmet companies would step up to the plate like Gmax has with this helmet. The only thing I wish was better is the fit. It’s a bit different than the other helmets I own. It’s oddly shaped and anyone that doesn’t have a tiny nose might want to try it on before you buy. My nose just barely touches the liner on the inside of the helmet. Oh, get a fog free visor, both the visors fog up real fast. Should be fine for the summer though. Other than that, the Gmax Crusader was a great buy!

Usually I order large helmets, and I ordered a large GMax Crusader, and it fit perfectly. The quality is amazing, and with the free smoked windscreen, smoked LED light cover, nice helmet bag and visor bag, WITH the batteries, c'mon, you can’t beat that price. Shipping was very prompt, took about 3 or 4 business days for the helmet to come in. All I can say is WOW! If you’re on the fence about trying to decide to buy this helmet or another, I 100% recommend this helmet to anyone. I would still be satisfied with this product if I were to pay 3 or 4 times as much for it. Great buy!

GMax - GM68 Crusader Helmet
Without a doubt the best helmet for the money! Not only that, it's the best value you'll find in a great fitting helmet. Mine is about a size too big but that's my fault. The only thing I don't like about it is the shield fogs up too quickly. I have to crack the shield at every stoplight. That's the only negative. It fits great, it flows plenty of air even with the vents closed, its light, comes with a dark shield for the sunny days, and the lights on the back definitely help at night. I'm sure Arai and Shoei make top quality helmets but I don't know if they're worth the extra $300-$600 more you'd pay for one. Props to Gmax for making a great product at a great price!

Cool Looking But Cheaply Made
It is a cool looking helmet. However there are many things that G-max would need to improve on. The visor release feels like its going to break every time you change the visor. Does not seal all the way, lots of noise, typical for a helmet with so many vents. Its also heavy and fogs. It needs improvements to make it a good helmet. I sent mine back.

GM68 Crusader Helmet
This helmet fits well and is nice looking. It vents very well and the face shield is easy to change. I like the fact that the helmet came with 2 face shields. It's really handy to have the spare shield and a separate padded bag to carry the dark or clear face shield that isn't on the helmet. The price was very good for such a versatile helmet system.

Great Helmet. Best Value!
This is helmet is a GREAT value, and looks even better in person. Inner pads are excellent. They have built in channels for air circulation. Has the least obstructive view of any helmet I've had (Shoei’s). When I ride with the helmet on, is almost as if I'm not wearing one, from a view stand point. I constantly forget I'm looking through a shield. I slow down and open it just to compare how things look with the windshield up. It’s that un-obstructive and clear! Do a search for the webbikeworld review of this helmet, they called it as it was.

Great Helmet
The helmet is awesome for the price, the only problem I have found with it is the noise is just a little louder than I like, but it moves a good amount of air and the visor stays clear. Fits good, can't beat it.

No better helmet for the money
This helmet is great. The value is tremendous, $107 shipped you've got a great helmet, extra visor, really nice bag for each, extra LED shield and batteries. It comes with batteries! The fit is very comfortable while still being breathable. Those 5 vents on top can really move some air when they're open. Both face shields are really clear, although they can fog up if you breathe straight into them. The design is really beautiful, and includes little sparkles in the finish that make it look a lot more expensive and detailed.
The mouth vent seems to want to stay partially open, and that's about the only thing that isn't right with the helmet.

Great Helmet! Terrific field of view, space helmet speakers, ventilation that will stop your visor from fogging up. The rear L.E.D. light makes the morning commute much safer. Add the free tinted visor, upgraded helmet cover, and secondary light cover and you have an outstanding helmet.

This G-max Crusader is the best bang for the buck helmet I've ever seen. The features it has are normally found on helmets costing three times as much, with more than a few that more expensive products lack! The fit and finish are excellent. It is very comfy...Airflow is excellent...the visor is optically very clear, with no strange effects in peripheral vision. Would and have recommended this helmet to my friends, and Motorcycle Superstore's service and shipping are great!

Good Helmet - Needed Adjustments
I ordered my GMax GM68 helmet online from the Motorcycle Superstore. I was pleased with the price and since I had ordered several items from them in the past I was satisfied with their customer service. The helmet arrived in a timely manner and I was quite pleased with the apparent quality and craftsmanship. However, the helmet fit a bit on the tight side, so I decided to wear it for a time to see if it loosened up like my earlier helmet from another company had. As for the performance of the helmet I am extremely pleased. It is quite comfortable and keeps wind noise down to a minimum. The two face shields (clear and smoke tint) are of excellent quality and superior clarity. The LED lights on the back of the helmet work as designed, however, the batteries that came with the helmet were too dead to power the light. The vents work quite well and I have had no problems with fogging, unless I am just standing around with the visor down for a period of time. While riding there has been no fogging, at all.

Excellent product and price!
With limited riding time since getting the helmet at Christmas, there is more experience to come. The helmet has performed very well so far with the only possible complaint being a little higher wind noise. I would definitely recommend the helmet to a friend.
