Gmax 68
I have now owned the GM68 helmet for a month, and it is a great helmet, fit is great, and the air flow is great. I have maybe only three issues with it. The upper vents add a lot of bulk to the helmet, so it looks huge when worn by someone. Also, the lenses the helmet comes with are not anti fog, and the chin strap system has some little snap thing to keep it from popping you, but trying to fasten it, it actually crushed together, so I can snap it down anymore, which is a problem for me.

Great
Two warnings: 1 the chin strap sits way back and rubs my laryngeal prominence. I might just have a big one though. 2 it does fit smaller.

Quite disappointed - Bad Drag effect over 75 mph
I’ve owned this helmet for a month or two now (that’s how long I’ve owned my 600CC). As I got to know her better and rode at higher speeds (around 75-100mph) , there is a NASTY wobble of the helmet, like the helmet is in a high speed washer/dryer. Gives me a wicked headache after each ride. Sucks. Is anyone else facing the same issue?? I'll probably use it as a spare for my tennis sessions in the evening or return it. Lesson to myself: Going for a little expensive and better quality like Shoei or Arai.

A Freakin Steal
The Gmax GM68 is an all around sweet helmet. The fit is good and true to sizing scale. The airflow is excellent for a helmet that only runs $120. It is also pretty quite. The helmet looks badass too even in plain matte black. For 120 bucks you can't go wrong.

We bought two of these one for me and one for my wife. By their size chart I bought the first one as a Med. when I usually where an XL. The med. was too tight and I was going to send it back but my wife loved it. So I just ordered a Lg for me. It is snug but comfortable. With all of the vents open the rush of air is great, you've got your own little cooling system for your head. Even riding at a 107 degrees outside it still feels good. The noise is lower than my last two helmets, KBC, HJC. I would buy another one.

Looks cheap but its a very nice helmet
The material and construction looks kind of cheap when I received it, but the features it has are amazing.. The Air flow is even better than some good brands I’ve tried. And the Back led is very useful on fog and night I feel very safe with that thing and looks cool also.

Well worth the money
I bought this helmet based on the great reviews, I too must agree that this helmet is unmatched for the money, as well as those in much higher price ranges. While being a little on the noisy side, I have no problem with the sound level when using a comm system. I use the helmet for dual sport riding, and despite others having commented that the vents are structurally weak, mine have so far withstood a few light drops to the ground. Can't say enough good things about this helmet.

Great helmet for the $$
This helmet fits very well and has a great liner.
The light on the back is sem-useful. I switched out to the included tinted lens plate for the back lights, it doesn't look as tacky and the lights still shine through well enough.
The ventilation is excellent with this helmet. LOTS of vents. A lot of people have commented on the amount of ventilation on the helmet.
Appearance is excellent. I get a lot of complements from this helmet from riders and non-riders.
At the price, it cant be beat.

Well worth it
So far I have been very happy with the helmet. I've gotten lots of compliments. Even my friend at work wishes he'd bought one now that he's seen it in person.
I work the graveyard shift so the light on the back was the main feature that caused me to buy it. I also ride everyday in the rain so it helps give me a little more peace of mind knowing it makes me more visible.
I'm hoping the extra ventilation will help when it starts to get hot during the summer.

Great Helment for the money! ! ! !
helmet was a great buy. It's a little snug while putting in on or taking it off, but I have to add that I wear a XXXL, so I have a big head. I was able to fit my Chatterbox XBI into the helmet without feeling the speakers or the microphone, which is a first for me. I've tried it on 7 different helmets and none were comfortable with the XBI installed. My only complaint is the batteries for the LED lights were dead when the helmet was delivered. That's no fault of Motorcycle Superstore though. They are Sony batteries, so what do you expect after all of their trouble with laptop batteries. Overall, a great buy!

High quality and light weight@ a great price...and the added safety of the rear LED lighting is excellent for night riding and is of no detriment to the light weight of the helmet.

good idea, but not the best implementation
It's a great summer helmet, with outstanding airflow, but it's a bit loud, and with all the various vents and such, they can and will break off rather easily. The LED in the back is a lifesaver on dark nights. The tinted shield is rather crappy, not very good optics. The eyehole is larger than usual, giving ample room to get a pair of glasses in. The interior finish isn't all that great, cheap feeling materials, the Scorpion EXO 400 in the same price range has a nicer interior. Is it worth the money? Yes, but this is a one year helmet at best, or maybe a pillion helmet.

Outstanding Value
Truly an unmatched helmet for the money. Just goes to show how the other “high-end” companies are price gouging. The liner could be better, but a small complaint. VERY HAPPY with my purchase.

GMax GM68 SPC Helmet
After reading many reviews, the GMax seemed the best choice when regarding performance and cost benefit. The helmet does give you airflow, straight up. It's not too noisy on the road, but earplugs are always the way to go. The fit is decent; I thought I'd need an extra large, but a large works pretty well. Overall, a good choice for the money.

Not sure what size my head is, but I am 5'6 145 lbs. I bought a Medium sized helmet and it is very snug. The padding inside is comfortable and I enjoy having the free tinted screen.

Best helmet I've ever bought
I looked for months for a helmet and read the reviews for this one and decided to give it a try. Wow! I love it. Not only is it a good helmet I didn't feel like I was getting ripped off. It came with a clear and tinted shield and two different lenses for the rear light. I did experience slight fogging at a standstill but not enough to worry about and no more than most helmets. I will buy the anti-fog shield and end up with a perfect helmet. I measured my head just above my eyebrows and largest part of the back of my head and used the chart to find my size. It fits perfect. People are impressed when they see my helmet and I let them know to deal with the motorcycle-super store. I ordered on Mon. and got it Fri. morning. Excellent service, easy to order, and great value. I hope the motorcycle-superstore keeps up the good work.

Great for the cost
Having spent the last month or so wearing this around south Florida, I can't really complain about it. For the price, it's a great value given what you get. It's very lightweight and fits snugly until you break it in. I have found that the top vents are very easy to open/close when riding, hard to fumble them! The LEDs on the back come in handy a lot and people think they look cool to boot. My only complaint is that the front mouth vent on the front cowl is useless. Since GMax built in a foam nose deflector inside the front, it blocks the air coming from the front mouth vent. Opened, closed, you get the same amount of air flow: none. However, the top vents flow a good amount of air over your skull. The wind noise is a bit loud but that's to be expected in a full face helmet. I will be wearing this mainly during the cooler months of the year and using a half helmet for the rest of the year when it's too hot to step outside.

Would Be A Steal at Twice the Price!!
When I went looking for an extra helmet, this was the one that seemed to have it all! And I was mainly looking at the price at the time. But, regardless of price, this is a great helmet! It's better than my pricy ICON and KBC's with regards to air flow. There is very, very little buffeting with this helmet and when I turn to look behind me, it doesn't try to lift off my head like my other helmets. It has amazing feel through the wind. The air flow inside is also quite amazing, but the downside of that is a little whistling at lower speeds flowed by wind roar at higher speeds. But definitely the best helmet out there for twice the price!

Looks even better in person, I painted over the logo in front. Seriously has the features and comfort of a much more expensive helmet. Get one, too cheap to be believed.

GMAX GM68
The helmet is pretty noisy, straight on. Ear plugs are a must. But turning your head to the side, doesn't seam to effect the wind much... another advantage over my Scorpion. Showing it around, everyone loves the helmet.. most folks think it is a bargain for the price. And I've had to send links to a lot of co-workers who wanted to buy one themselves. After a month, it's my daily-use helmet. It fits fine now (the cheek pads have loosened up) and it's improved air-flow, makes it the helmet to have, in 110 degree heat.

A bit tight....
The GMax has great features, flows lots of air, looks cool but, fits a bit tight for me. I went with the sizing on the web site and it's a little on the tight side. It should, (and has already) loosen a bit the more I wear it. My lips touch the chin guard from time to time. That's a bit annoying but I've learned to live with it. I'm hoping this will improve over time but I doubt it. Over all I give it a strong 4 out of 5!

WHAT THE... ???
Wow! What a lot of helmet for little coin. I've had dozens of helmets over the decades and this is one of the best regardless of $. Diffuser works well, keeps the head solid at speed ('Busa), not like a drunken sailor with the typical round shell. Optical clarity is excellent. And the LED is da' bomb even with non-cyclists. It's the first thing they start fawning over. I've gotten a lot of love with this bucket. The fit is spot on for my head. I've already ordered another and will get more.

High-Grade helmet
This helmet is really nice. I like the built in LED light, but wish it was a bit brighter. The amount of air flow is great, and can be controlled by opening or closing the six vents on the helmet; there are five over the head, and one in front of the mouth, all can be closed if not being needed. For the money, this helmet is exceptional. It looks too elegant for its price, fits well, and provides a lot of air. P.S: This was my first helmet.

Good for the money.
This helmet fits well, has lots of ventilation, the visors are very nice with no distortion. The LED lights are a little gimmicky, but that's ok.

Great helmet
So far my only complaint about this helmet is the wind whistle. When the visor is all the way down, I get a high pitch whistle. Other than that it fit perfect, visor switching is simple, and I like the air flow. Plus the red light (which came with alternate color plates of grey) is a nice safety feature.

The helmet arrived a week before I took a 4000 mile trip from AZ to NC and back. The light is a great safety feature. The ventilation was awesome! I was riding on I-10 and I-20 and every little bit of air helped in Texas. The only problem I have had is with the face shield fogging when it rains. Other than that, it is a great helmet at a superb price.

GMax GM68 Helmet
I own numerous helmets and was looking for a special purpose helmet that would provide excellent ventilation due to a planned trip in a warm climate this summer. The GM68 provides outstanding ventilation, but aside from that, it stands up to any of the significantly more expensive helmets that I own. It has a nice fit, great finish (matte black), 2 shields and a led light on the rear of the helmet.

I got the helmet last February and I feel that it is my turn to rate the helmet. Love it! I added some reflectivity to it last month with some toxic reflective decals. Otherwise, it seems to do a very good job. If there was one complaint, it would be that nobody has heard of the GMax brand. Thank you to Webb Bike World for the glowing review. GMax need to re-do their flip-up helmet. I could see myself buying one in a second!

My First Helmet... Extremely Satisfied
After trying many Helmets in the local shops, I ordered this one online. It is by far the most comfortable helmet I've tried. There is a lot of wind drag when you turn your head. With all the vents, the airflow is great, but at speeds of 50+mph I get a whistling sound. The rear light is highly visible and useful considering I bought the thing in flat black. Had a friend follow me at night just to test it out. Highly Recommended Helmet.

The cheek area is too narrow compared to the rest of the helmet. A large would fit if the cheek are was not so dang tight. Other than that it's a great helmet for the money.

Great helmet at a great price
I feel like I got a really good deal with this helmet. It came with both a clean and tinted visor, a free helmet bag (not that I ever use it), and it is Snell and Dot rated. The helmet is comfortable and gets plenty of air flow. You can't see it in the picture, but there are 5 vents on the top of the head that you can open or close to adjust the total amount of airflow. I'm happy with the helmet, especially at the price

ated on webbikeworld.com as 2007 helmet of the year. For Good Reason. Great air flow without being noisy. Outstanding Visor optical quality, led rear lights, Snell and DOT certified. AND the price is UNBELIEVEABLE! Feels much lighter on your head than specs. HIGHLY recommended.

This is an awesome helmet
I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the GM68. Everything is top-notch with it. I now understand why WebBikeWorld made this their helmet of the year. It is worth more than every penny. I would buy this helmet again in a heartbeat.

This is a great helmet for the money with superb ventilation and a distortion-free visor. A tinted visor with a nice sleeve was included, and visors aren’t cheap. The rear lights might be a tab over the top, but at night I'll take all the visibility I can get. I was worried when ordering that if it didn't fit returning it might be a problem, but the paperwork accompanying the helmet spelled out the procedure in great detail, and I could see it wouldn't have been a problem. Fortunately the fit was good. Things I like: no-tools visor removal, good ventilation, removable liner, extra tinted shield, and auxiliary lighting. Nice!

GMax - GM68 SPC Helmet review
The GM68 helmet is definitely a good buy. The internal air flow is excellent with a fantastic overall appearance. No fogging at all. External noise insulation lower than previous HJC unit. Some noise generation expected from all the large vents (can't get something for nothing!). The size chart is like two sizes off!! As a result I now have a spare size small.

cheap but nice features
I have a long head and the helmet is kinda short, not too bad though. The finish is not the greatest as when you open the vents it leaves little scuff marks that I think will get worse if you keep opening and closing the vents. Not bad for the money, but you get what you pay for.

Best Deal Ever
I got my helmet and cannot believe what quality you get for so little money. I have a total of 4 helmets and now my new GMAX - Excellent in every aspect. I know these are not the most expensive and I can afford others but why spend the extra money if you don't have to. So I buy based on reviews. I gotta say the GMAX is the best deal I've come across. Keep up the great work and looking forward to buying many more GMAX products. Fit, finish and function are great!

Gmax - GM68 SPC Helmet
Having read a few reviews I decided to take the plunge and buy this helmet. Thus far, I have nothing but praise for the value, feature set, function this helmet provides. I have more expensive (European) helmets and this is on par with them in terms of fit and finish. It is clearly not designed and built to a price. Noise is acceptable (I ride with ear plugs), ventilation is awesome especially when it is warm. I wear glasses and the ventilation prevents misting on cold mornings. The fit is perfect with no pressure points after my rides. Thoroughly recommended.
