great helmet for the price
Hello, this is my first helmet, it fits great and looks appealing. I’m a beginner rider so I don't really know what to look for when it comes to buying a helmet. My main thing is to be DOT / SNELL approved, and this helmet is DOT approved. When on the highway going 65 there is a lot of wind noise, but I’m not sure if this is common for all helmets? Besides this for the price you can't beat it!

I've had this helmet for about 6 months now and have nothing but good things to say. Fits well, is relatively quiet and actually has a face shield that doesn't fog up. The price at the motorcycle superstore was truly a bargain. The only issue is the labeled size. The old Bell helmet I had was 7 1/8 and fit well. After reading the reviews about the sizing issues I ordered a Blitz in large and it fits well. According to the sizing chart from Bell I should have ordered a medium but they definitely run small.

Good deal on a great helmet
This helmet fits my round head really good. I had tried some KBC and HJC helmets and didn't like the way they fit. Their small is way too tight for my round shape and their medium is just a bit loose. I was a little skeptical when I ordered a small helmet from Bell but it is a great fit. Would recommend this one to anyone with a round head.

Fine....for the money. Nothing particularly outstanding. However, the cheek pads are poorly designed and don't easily allow one to put on glasses as they get hung up on the inner/upper corners of the cheek pads. Also, if you plan to use (order) any other face shield other than the clear that comes with the helmet, then get a different helmet. The smoke face shields are junk!

I have put about 2000 miles on this helmet and find it to be an excellent value. My only complaint is the excessive wind noise in turbulent air.

Great Helmet at a great price
Can't beat the quality of this helmet at this price. I dare you! The helmet feels a tiny bit tight, but after some use I'm sure it will break in a bit. Fits true to size though.

Well built, comfortable, and a price that can't be beat
The Apex was an emergency replacement for a GMax GM48 that I had dropped and cracked. I had been eyeing the Apex for a while as a potential replacement for the GM48 but couldn't pass on the closeout price. My first reactions on opening the box were that the helmet seems to be very well-constructed with an excellent finish and quality materials used throughout. The fit of the helmet seems to be fairly true to the fitting guide. My GM48 was an XL and seemed large, and I'm on the lower end of the XL size range for the Apex. The first time I wore the helmet it was awfully painful in the back, but after about 75 miles of riding it broke in wonderfully and is quite comfortable. Ventilation is very good to the front of the face, and the helmet is quite tolerable in warmer weather. Despite having far fewer vents than the GMax, I find the ventilation much better. Overall, I'd buy the helmet again.

Bell Helmets/shields
Bell is a good quality helmet at a great price through MC Superstore. I bought a second for backup. I do have some issues with the nose guard coming out but all things considered this is minor. I'm bad about scratching shields and appreciate that your website puts that accessory on the same page as the helmet - no hunting around for the right one. Thanks!

Nice Helmet. Fits well and true to size chart. My first Bell was the original Star that I bought in 1971 for $65 if I remember correctly. I am amazed at how good of a full face Bell I can buy for less than $100, 37 years later. Good lid, well vented, nice quality, good visor.

I was very satisfied with everything on this helmet except for the sizing chart. I measured my head as instructed and then added a 1/2 inch and still was too small and after sending it back and ordering the next size up the helmet is a little tight. It cost about $20.00 to send back so I will live with the helmet being a little tight for now. I can see being one size off but the chart said Large and I really needed a XX Large. I was very satisfied with the other products I ordered too. The Helmet was a sale item and X Large was the largest you had. Thank You!

Helmet was on sale so the price was great. I normally wear a medium but larges were all that were on sale. The large fit perfectly so the sizes for this brand are a little small. The air vents keep my bald head cool so that is a plus. Great fit and would buy again.

Excellent helmet
The Bell Apex is a terrific helmet, fit, finish, and features. The insert wind deflector works just fine for me. Wind noise is acceptable. This helmet performs very well, comparable to my $350 Shoei RF1000.

Good bang for buck
Doesn't fit my shape of head perfectly but it was true to size. Lots of features and quality for the money. Really can't go wrong at this price.

Good helmet, looks good, really good quality especially for the price, it was a clearance item. It s manufacture date is 2006, so it is a little dated, but well worth the money.

Fit is good, the finish is ok. Going over 50 mph becomes excessively noisy. I ride a sport bike, when I lean forward, the noise gets worst. 30 min of it and you are done.

Super deal
This helmet is a great deal. Very light in comparison to the ones I tried on at the dealer. I tried on an HJC and a couple other mfg I cannot remember and didn't feel comfortable in any of them so figured I'd order this online since I couldn't find it to try on anywhere. It was the only one that didn't feel like it was pinching. I have a somewhat long thin face, not a round head so for those with similar shapes should work well....although we got one for my wife (an XS) and she has a roundish head and loves hers too.
