Amazing fit, snug yet comfortable. Very light compared to other helmets. Good venting, minimal fogging (I haven't installed the fog guard yet) Face Shield is SUPER EASY to change. Takes seconds to switch between tinted shields and clear shields.
Graphics are spectacular, and what you don't see in the pictures is a Metallic Flake paint that is in the star graphic.
I would buy it again, without hesitation.

RF-1000 Great Helmet
Well finished. Quiet. Only complaint isn't really one -- the cheek pads are too tight and the forehead foam bites my forehead.

RF-1000 Caster Design
The helmet is very comfortable and lightweight. While it has venting, air flow could be improved. The finish is excellent and the design of the Caster is classy and sophisticated, but still cool.

Great Helmet
This helmet was a great buy. The fit is pretty much perfect, I usually vary with a L and XL, went with the L and I could not be happier. The helmet also feels great at high speeds, it is very aerodynamic. There is a bit of a whistling noise when the face shield is cracked open, especially when you are doing a head check. Changing and cleaning the face shield is a breeze to do, and it really does only take seconds to remove from helmet. I was very pleased with this buy.

Shoei - RF-1000 Caster Helmet
It's the most comfortable helmet that I've owned. The ventilation and lining are well designed and provide constant airflow around my head. The vent closures are easy to open and close even while riding. The shield can be popped off in a matter of seconds so that I can switch between tinted and clear. The finish and quality are very good. This helmet was a really great value for the money.

The RF 1000
Well this helmet is as good as it gets. No fogging on colder days if you use the nose air channel, very clear face shield and durable. Fits like a glove if you get the right size.

Shoei-RF-1000
Now I love wearing a helmet! The Shoei RF1000 is so light and with all the vents I am cool even in 85 degrees! I never wore a helmet before but now I never go without it. I am going to get a tinted shield, I don’t like wearing sunglasses. Sizing was right on.

LOVE IT
I just upgraded from an HJC CL-15 and I have just been blown away from this helmet. It is all around a much better helmet. The visibility, wind noise, weight, vents, and overall look are so much better than my old HJC. To be honest, it is a bit expensive but why waste your money on cheaper helmets when you can have 1 good helmet that has all the features. The helmet seems to fit pretty snug on my head, but after a short break-in period it feels comfortable. My HJC helmet was a small, but I had to buy a medium with the Shoei helmet. If you buy this helmet, you should seriously consider buying the dark smoke visor. It looks amazing with it.

Excellent Helmet
I have both the X-11 and the RF-1000. I'm very pleased with both purchases. The black and white Caster looks beautiful and matches almost every bike and jacket. I think the RF-1000 is a little lighter and quieter. Especially on a touring or sport-touring bike, the RF-1000 sounds quieter. On a sport bike, both are equally quiet. Great service and selection at Motorcycle Superstore.

Shoei Caster Helmet reivew
Finally decided to drop the cash down and get a high quality helmet to replace my KBC, and couldn't be happier. The fit is way better, more comfort and just feels like a much sturdier helmet. The graphics also have a metal flake to them which looks awesome when in the light (can't be seen in display picture). The only downfall I've found is the annoying whistle that occurs at any speed above 10mph with the face shield up. When it’s down the seal is great and I feel as if I'm an astronaut ready to blast off. This helmet has increased my star power by 14 fold and has allowed me to ride faster and farther than ever before. Thank you MOTORCYCLE SUPERSTORE for making it all possible.

Nice helmet. I got the metallic black x-11 helmet too. Recommend the X-11 if you can afford it. RF-1000 fantastic second choice. I like them both very much.

Amazing helmet, strongly recommend!
This helmet fit great right out of the box and got even better after about a week of riding, very well vented compared to the HJC I was using before. The cost is a little high, but I'd still buy it again. I strongly recommend this helmet to anyone, it was a great buy!

RF1000 vs. RF800
I just upgraded from a Shoei RF800 to the RF1000. I wish I would have spent the money a long time ago and made the switch. The helmet takes a CX-V1 lens/shield and not the older CX-V that went on the RF800. This helmet is far superior in every category. The fit is great and the helmet is streamlined and it’s amazing how aerodynamic and light weight it is. They do not mention that the inner star on the helmet has very light glitter in it which is not noticeable in the pictures but looks great. The helmet also comes with unmentioned accessories (breath guard, bottom chin air block). Motorcycle-Superstore had the best price by far over ever major website I checked out and the free shipping got the helmet to me in 3 days.
