Shoei - RF-1000 Sever Helmet
I have had Shoei helmets for the last eight years. The best thing I like is that they fit extremely well and are quiet. Some others fit well but are noticeably louder (more outside noise and distraction). Saying they fit well makes me "normal" I guess but I can buy one right off the shelf and it fits perfect. Good straps system, good vent system, and this time colorful verses just black. Great helmet.

Sever Helmet
Very nice helmet. It was a bit snug initially but after a couple longer rides it fits very well. Be sure to check sizes. I usually wear XL but an L was right for me.

Shoei - RF-1000 Sever Helmet
Light and aerodynamic helmet, low road noise, good ventilation. Good price for an art-worked Shoei, proven design.
Thoughts:
If you use a low collar or no collar jacket like me, the lower back on the helmet (which has a ridge) will get caught in the back of the jackets neck. This is extremely annoying if you try to 'tuck in' while riding and then try to turn or lift your head.

Great helmet
I recently bought a Sever helmet and what a difference. I tried on other helmets which were only okay compared to this one. My old helmet was another Shoei RF1000 but the difference in weight, style, and fit was amazing. Price was a little more expensive compared to other brands but by far this one was way better. The light weight has really helped my neck on long rides which I think is a huge selling point. I won't say how fast I've gone but very little whistling and my head didn't shake at all. Even at higher speeds turning my head wasn't a problem. Hope the info helps.

One of the best things I've bought for my bike. Fits perfect, comes with all kinds of ventilation for warmer weather, and the vents really help out with visor fogging during colder weather. I would definitely buy this helmet again.
