Tim Woodland,  CA Great for the price I've been riding with the Z1R Phantom for about 6 months now and it's a very solid, reliable helmet. The finish is great. It's a bit wide for my narrow-ish head (the fit is very round). There's a lot of wind noise in general and howling and buffeting when you turn your head. It seems to let more air in through the chin than through the vents, but stays comfortable nonetheless. If you're looking for a cheap starter helmet or a full-face helmet for a passenger, this fits the bill perfectly.

Lee Bowers Cuyahoga Falls,  OH Solid Helmet It's great for the price. Looks and fits great, measurements were right on. It's not overly heavy. Comes with an anti-fogging shield, but doesn't really stay in place well. After a Month some interior threads came loose in the front and were tickling my face while riding. Had to stop and cut them off. Happened twice actually so far. The vents don't seem to make any difference at all and the noise level is fairly high. However, having said all that, it's a great DOT approved helmet for the money. I would buy it again and I'm happy with my purchase.

vince frenzel sauk city,  WI Great Helmet for the price I have owned SHOEI helmets in the past and purchased a new cycle and needed a new helmet to match the color, I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars for another helmet that is DOT safety certified. It has a great look and finish, like others say the only complaint is it is "snug" but better snug than loose, it is tight putting glasses

Jerry Hutchison Lincoln,  NE Z1R Phantom Helmet The Z1R Phantom helmet is a real good value for the money. I ordered the large size according to the size chart, but had to return it for an extra large because the large was so tight I couldn't wear my glasses. It’s a great helmet that looks good.

peter elsea florence,  MA Great helmet I shopped a lot before buying this, and ordered it based on the safety review article. Some people complained about the fit if one's head is not cue ball round, but it fits my long, large, narrow head very well. The cheek padding is just the right length and density, and is very comfortable. At this price, the venting options are limited, and I don't think the face shield is very anti-fog treated, but I can coat it or get another shield. Overall, very pleased.

Julia P. Candler,  NC Really nice helmet, but watch the sizing. I got this helmet (in White for visibility) after reading about how well it did in shock absorption tests. I also ordered the Light Smoke face shield. The helmet looks really nice in person. I had read elsewhere that this was a good helmet for a round head, and I do have a round head! The size chart said I was a medium (22 ¼”), but when I got the medium it gave me a headache within a few minutes. Luckily, it was easy to return. The large is a perfect fit. The face shield was easy to install and the breath guard works very well. I had it in plenty of time to ride on Christmas!

jeff Middletown,  RI Z1R - Phantom Solid Helmet Great inexpensive helmet. Fogs easily though, and you do get a good bit of wind noise. Other than that you can't beat it for the $$$.

Anthony Baggett Tupelo,  MS I would buy it again. This is the first full face helmet I've owned. I followed the size chart provided and measured my head. The helmet fits snug, but good. I think it looks great and I'm very pleased. The only gripe would be the face shield fogging up in cold weather....maybe this is normal on a full-face helmet in this price range? Anyway, I would buy it again.
