Great Gloves! (Read regarding knuckle discomfort)

Awesome! The first two weeks sucked. Knuckle discomfort-tough it out-they stretched where needed and they absolutely perfect. Stitching and leather have held up well. 4 years and 12K miles & thousands of bug splats. Great feel at the controls for those who hate gauntlet gloves. Med crash protection...if commuting in fwy traffic lots I'd go a little thicker as a crash is more likely. Great down to 38 degrees or when wet... Mine are 80% but likely buy few pairs for when they stop making them.

Beware

The plastic inserts in the knuckles and fingers are very uncomfortable, and work against your efforts to close your hands around the grips. This causes strain and fatigue quickly, along with sore spots. I had to cut the liners and remove all the plastic in the gloves before I could stand them. They are nicely made and finished but took too much work before I could stand them. Would not buy these again.

Plastic Knuckle Guards HURT

Bought a pair of these after reading the reviews. I rode for 30 minutes and my knuckles hurt from the plastic knuckle guards. I had to take them off. I got home and used scissors to remove the guards. Now they fit well and don't hurt when I ride.

Very happy with them

I am currently on my second pair of these gloves and 100% happy with them. My last pair got a bit funky after I wore them in cold rain for two days about 6 hours each. Quite a miserable trip. For the price, you really can't beat them.

Decent gloves

Great fit, a little pricey but not too bad. I have not had them long enough to give a durability rating. Good for spring and summer riding.

Nice Gloves

I found this glove to be just what I was looking, the fit and quality seem to be good. I can't comment on durability so I gave them a 3. They seem to be a good value, they are a lot better than my other gloves that cost about the same.

Not bad at all for the price

Fits perfect, I used the scale they recommended and had no problem with fit. Like the look and for the price, great. The only exception is how the way the armor has to be broken in while leaving sores on the knuckles.

Olympia -450 Full Throttle Gloves

I ordered these gloves based on the reviews. I can't say how durable they will be but the fit, finish appear to be very nice for a decent price.

Overall nice

A simple look that keeps your hands fairly warm. They may not be ideal for extremely cold weather but they have kept me warm enough in approx 50deg temps. One odd thing was that the right glove fit well and was comfortable but the left glove did not. The knuckle guard dug into my hand even after repeated use. I fixed it by placing it in front of a space heater until hot and then put it on (with glove liner) and made a fist for several minutes. Now its fine. I think I just got an oddly shaped one. Feels like it would stand up ok to a spill. Good palm protection adequate finger protection. I would buy again.

Good Stuff

The best thing about these gloves is their look - they seem like plain black leather gloves, without all the robot-looking stuff you see on some types, but with all the padding that plain old ropers lack. I had to remove one of the knuckle pads on the left pinky, but after I did that they fit perfectly. The palm is padded and there is no seam between the thumb and forefinger, which makes them very comfortable too. Can't say much about the durability just yet, but the leather looks tough and isn't going anywhere. I wish they had snaps instead of Velcro closures, but you can't always get what you want, I suppose. A little more than I wanted to spend, but worth it overall.
