Philip Reid Seattle,  WA Nice! These gloves fit well (a bit snug, but not unreasonable), seem to keep the water out and my hands warm! I am very pleased!

Daniel St.Louis Westfield,  MA Money well spent If you need warm gloves that don't hinder your finger and wrist movements, these are for you. Sure they might be a pain to put on, but that equals out to no nasty cold air getting in. And by a pain, I mean the first couple of times. So warm, so comfortable, I wish I would have had these 10 years ago! Don't bother reading every review of cold weather gloves on this site, just pick these up. Besides, they match the Shift jacket you already own, like the Streetfighter Storm jacket I purchased with these gloves!

SDSYM Sioux Falls,  SD Torrent Storm Not For Cold Weather I use these gloves for several rides in February on my SYM RV 250 Scooter. 1. I ordered L and they fit perfectly with good grips on the bars, and manual dexterity for horn, lights, etc. 2. Long cuff goes above my GX jacket cuffs to cut off any air flow up the jacket. 3. I have been out 5 times in February in weather from 27-45 degrees. I think these gloves are best in temperatures above 55 degrees.

michael quiroz ft.worth,  TX great value for a winter glove I thought the fit was great. True to size. They are extremely warm. I went riding in 50 degree weather and my fingers didn't get numb. They are very durable and the leather adheres to your hand very well. The natural curved fingers help out also. I also rode with them in light rain, not drop water was felt. All in all for the price you can't go wrong.

Javier McAllen,  TX Great Gloves but delicated sewing Bought this recently and I had a problem with the sewing in the union of the plastic and the textile in my first ride. Gloves are great but you have to review your gloves before you use.

Christopher Fairfield,  DC A little too tight Getting them on or off is a bit tricky with the inner second layer. But once they are on they do the job so it’s worth it, I hope with a little more wear and tear they will loosen up.

michael porrtland,  OR cold weather riding i just went on a 200 mile ride in about 45 degree weather. And i would have to say these gloves held up pretty good, my fingers did not get cold at all. They were comfortable, had no problem clutching or breaking. for the price you can't get a better glove.

Joe Charlottesville,  VA Perfect Balance This glove strikes a perfect balance between warmth and thickness. The gloves are warm enough for 30 degree weather yet still very thin. This glove does a better job keeping my hands warm than my previous bulky so called winter gloves (TourMaster Cold Front Carbon). It fits true to size and is quality built. For the price, it is a high quality glove. The windproof and waterproof claim of the glove is accurate. If you're use to just throwing on gloves, keep in mind this glove has a double (inner and outer) cuff and takes about a minute longer to put on. I knew that when I bought the glove, so it didn't bother me. If I was to be critical, the only improvement I would make to the glove is to enlarge the gauntlet. It can be a little tight over the jacket. I would highly recommend this glove to anyone.

Steve Brown Bridgewater,  NS Shift Racing - Torrent Storm Series Gloves I have tried just about every so called waterproof glove available, including rubber ones, and these gloves by far have exceeded all of my expectations. They are very comfortable to wear and they are water proof. I went so far as to fill the kitchen sink, put on the gloves and immersed my hands in the water for in excess of 10 minutes. At no point did I experience any wetness. I've ridden in rain storms where it would have been more advisable to simply pull over under a highway overpass and wait the storm out, but the gloves kept my hands perfectly dry and warm! I would recommend these gloves to everyone.

John Carroll New York,  NY Best purchase I made I really like these gloves. I read a bunch of reviews on gloves and was having a hard time finding something that looked good. I live in NY and its getting cold so I wanted something that was going to keep me warm but also be comfortable. I don't have anything bad to say about these gloves. The fit is great and my fingers stay warm. I think they probably will be a too hot for the summer but for this time of year they’re the best purchase I've made.

Tom Charleston,  SC Decent Glove For The Price After expending a lot of money on several sets of supposedly water proof gloves, I found a review of these gloves on-line and decided to give them a try. During the Summer months in the South Eastern U.S., you can set your clock to the afternoon thunderstorms, some of which can bring down torrents of rain in a short period of time. I've worn these gloves for up to 5 hours in constant rain and they haven't leaked or allowed water in. Though the outer cover has been soaked, they've kept out the wind and my hands have stayed dry. One exception to this was when I had my rain suit cuff tucked into the gauntlet, which allowed moisture to sneak in. Now I wear the rain suit cuff outside the glove and haven't had any more issues with water getting in. The only thing I can think of on the negative side is the inner fleece liner and trying to get a sweaty or moist hand into the glove. I found it a difficult experience and suggest these gloves are best suited for the cooler months when you're less likely to have sweaty hands. I purchased a set of these gloves for my wife after my experience with mine and she's enjoyed the same level of water proofing and comfort. I recommend them to anyone looking for a decent glove at a reasonable price.

Tom H. Charleston,  SC Definately A Glove To Be Considered!!! These gloves are definitely worth considering if you want something you can throw in a tank or saddle bag and have readily available when needed. The Shift Torrent SS gloves were on my hands for several hours during a very rainy day and my hands remained dry all day. The temp was around 85 degrees Fahrenheit, and I was still comfortable despite the light weight fleece liner. Overall, I'm impressed enough to recommend them without hesitation. As a matter of fact, two riding buddies of mine made orders after our soggy ride since mine were the only dry hands in the bunch!

Mitch Las Vegas,  NV Give these a look These gloves are quite useful. Mine fit smaller than I expected so they are tough to put on. Once on my hands they are quite comfortable. The longer cuff is nice because it covers the sleeves of my jacket and keeps the wind out. The thickness is good because it allows a high level of control while still providing warmth and protection.
