Marcin APO,  AE Water proof I was hoping to get a warm weather glove that would protect me from the elements. I will state that the glove kept my hand protect and comfortable even in the rain but I glove was not at all maid for the rain. They glove soaked up a lot of water and a seam started running on my second day of wearing it. The wrist strap I found to be in an uncomfortable location and the strap was a bit short. It also felt like I was wearing a cheap ski glove. I would not recommend the glove.

Dennis Englewood,  FL Not Bad Ok gloves, but there are better ones here for the price. Pads on knuckles are very soft and the material its made of feels thin. But good in high 40 degree weather.

Greg nashville,  TN Great rain/Spring/Fall/warm Winter day glove I've used this model glove for over 6 years now and have gone through three pairs (about 60k miles). My principle bikes are touring and sport touring bikes. These gloves have proven to be waterproof in even hard rain as long as you are traveling at speed. Some water can wick down the lining if you are in hard rain in stop and go traffic. Typically, if I'm touring during the winter, I'll start off wearing these gloves and ride for 1-2 hours. Admittedly, I do also have Gerbing heated jacket liners, so keeping my body core warm probably aids to the gloves performance. Only a few times have I had to get out the winter gauntlets to keep my fingers warm. So the gloves are a definite YES for me. One thing to keep in mind for everyone is that different people have different circulation factors for their feet/hands and different types of bikes have different effects on the amount and type of wind to the hands and feet. Even a different style of windshield on the same bike can greatly affect the amount and type of wind to reach the gloved hand.

Michael Lyons,  GA O.K. Gloves They are good for 50 to 60 degree weather, but anything below that, your fingers are like Popsicles. I was on my bike for like 10 min. and I was done for. There are not cold weather gloves. The gloves do fit snug, and it was kind of hard to turn the turn signal on and of without removing your hand from the hand grip, but other than that, there is nothing special about them at all. They work good so far.

michael San angelo,  TX ok These are ok. its real hard to get your hands past the first buckle and it isn't really good for covering over the ends of your sleeves. Check around or you'll be disappointed.

Joe Everett,  WA Not Quite but decent I live in Seattle and ride all year. These are only warm enough for 45+ degree weather and don't stay dry, except for small rain showers. Not a great glove for where I live.

Karl Rhyner Ashland,  VA Great Gloves The 5.0 gloves are great. They fit well (I went with my normal size) and seem to work great. I have had them out down to 40 deg and they are fine. I would not go much below that. Overall value is super.

Boris Springfield,  OR Nice but not waterproof. These gloves are very well made and are nice for dry, early-fall or spring riding. They are not terribly warm though. After a two hour ride at 50 degrees, your fingers will freeze. My biggest beef with them is the fact that they are NOT waterproof. Maybe shower-proof but after 90 minutes of riding in moderate rain, the fingers are soaking wet. As far as size goes, Joe Rockets are very small. If you go by the sizing guideline you will get one size too small.

Johnnie Salinas San Diego,  NC These bad boys are HOT I ride from the San Diego beaches to the sand lands and the mountains. I would NOT recommend these gloves for warm weather. But freezing cold nights at 6000 feet are a perfect place to break out these bad boys. These gloves are very thin but incredibly warm. Not too good with wet though. We stopped to play in the snow at the Lagunas and ended up with wet hands after a couple of hours. Warm, wet hands but wet none the less.

graham mingst hicksville,  New Brunsw unbiased review of glove They are very comfortable. Easy to put on and remove. Cuff doesn't fight me to get it where I want it to go. AND they are freakishly warm for such a thin glove. I ride in the morning 7 miles 38 - 44 degree F. The hands are warm all the way.

Hammer Gorham,  ME Ballistic 5.0 glove These gloves run small. The outer fabric and leather get soaked in the rain. As another reviewer said, they are not waterproof and the inner lining want to pull away when wet. There are two velcro straps, one at the cuff and another at the back of the hand. Look elsewhere if you want a rain glove.

Hotstick misawa,  VT usaf I've owned this glove for two seasons now, and have yet to find out what part of it is waterproof. Totally uncomfortable glove during the rain, and once your hand is moist, don't even try taking the glove off then put back on. The inner liner is a complete failure. Thinking of going with a spidi. Let you know how that goes.
