Not Quite but decent
I live in Seattle and ride all year. These are only warm enough for 45+ degree weather and don't stay dry, except for small rain showers. Not a great glove for where I live.

Just what I needed...
This is a great pair of gloves that are functional and very comfortable.

Good Gloves
I like the gloves. Do very well for GA weather. Doesn't get much below freezing.

Great Gloves
The 5.0 gloves are great. They fit well (I went with my normal size) and seem to work great. I have had them out down to 40 deg and they are fine. I would not go much below that. Overall value is super.

Nice but not waterproof.
These gloves are very well made and are nice for dry, early-fall or spring riding. They are not terribly warm though. After a two hour ride at 50 degrees, your fingers will freeze. My biggest beef with them is the fact that they are NOT waterproof. Maybe shower-proof but after 90 minutes of riding in moderate rain, the fingers are soaking wet. As far as size goes, Joe Rockets are very small. If you go by the sizing guideline you will get one size too small.

These bad boys are HOT
I ride from the San Diego beaches to the sand lands and the mountains. I would NOT recommend these gloves for warm weather. But freezing cold nights at 6000 feet are a perfect place to break out these bad boys. These gloves are very thin but incredibly warm. Not too good with wet though. We stopped to play in the snow at the Lagunas and ended up with wet hands after a couple of hours. Warm, wet hands but wet none the less.

NOT Waterproof
I took Pacific Coast Highway from So. California to Washington. It started raining just north of San Francisco and didn't stop for four days. After two hours in the rain, these gloves quit. After my third day in a row of freezing, wet, cold, hands, I stopped in Portland and bought real waterproof gloves. I do not recommend the Ballistic glove, Joe Rocket or Dry Tech to anyone.

Ballistic 5.0 glove
They are very comfortable. Easy to put on and remove. They are very warm for such a thin glove. My hands are warm on cool mornings have not been wet yet.

unbiased review of glove
They are very comfortable. Easy to put on and remove. Cuff doesn't fight me to get it where I want it to go. AND they are freakishly warm for such a thin glove. I ride in the morning 7 miles 38 - 44 degree F. The hands are warm all the way.

Ballistic 5.0 glove Joe Rocket
Bought gloves in Dec just wore them 1st time today in the rain. They are NOT 100% waterproof. If I had read the reviews posted I would not have bought them.

Ballistic 5.0 glove
These gloves run small. The outer fabric and leather get soaked in the rain. As another reviewer said, they are not waterproof and the inner lining want to pull away when wet. There are two velcro straps, one at the cuff and another at the back of the hand. Look elsewhere if you want a rain glove.

I've owned this glove for two seasons now, and have yet to find out what part of it is waterproof. Totally uncomfortable glove during the rain, and once your hand is moist, don't even try taking the glove off then put back on. The inner liner is a complete failure. Thinking of going with a spidi. Let you know how that goes.
