Alpinestar SPS Glove

I just received these gloves today, so I don't know the durability factor...but everything else is as stated in the catalog description. The size was true to my normal glove size. I have relatively small wrists but these gloves seem to fit well. They are a bit snug but no more so than any other new glove. They should break-in well and be fine. I purchased these gloves on closeout so I certainly couldn't beat the price and the quality of Motorcycle Superstore products, service and shipping are second to none. I ordered at 10:00 pm and my order was shipped early the following day. I'm a happy customer!

Used these for 38K miles in the last 3yrs

Been through every type of weather you can imagine. I ride every day of the year in the San Francisco bay area. I mean every day. These gloves are finally losing their use after 38K miles or freeway, canyons, and street. Great glove. Going to by another pair soon.

2nd pair

These gloves are great. They are my second pair of gloves. By far the most comfortable. The only bad thing about them is that after about a year and a half, they start to lose color from the sun. But well worth $80.

Great Gloves! For the most part...

These gloves feel great, are very good quality (like Alpinestars is known to be), and provide great looks! However, the pinky is a bit long for me, as well as the thumb. I wouldn't trade the gloves for any other, as they feel great and offer good protection, but it is a tad cumbersome when using my turn signals because the thumb is a bit long.

Weird Weird Weird Fit....

So I believe myself to be a well proportioned person with normal masculine hands....I wear a large in everything so I ordered a large pair of these. They looked good out of the box put as soon as I put them on it was clear they would not work. The finger length was all short but the thumb was like half an inch too long on each glove. Closing my hand into a fist caused the very bulky armor to pull tightly at the leather seams, so I would question the durability of that. Most alarming was the looseness of the wrist closure. Even with the wrist straps fully closed I could easily pull the glove right off my hand!! This would not serve well in a fall. But if you have stubby hands with really long thumbs and fat wrists this might work, otherwise avoid entirely. Very disappointed.

Nice glove

I'm an average size hand and I ordered a Medium. The glove was a little tight but seems to be stretching out fine. The only thing I don't like about the fit is the pinky. For some reason it's really long. Protection is my focus and these gloves seem to have plenty on the back of hand, fingers, and palm.

Love them

I've had these gloves for a month. They're a little tight, but I like that about these. I definitely think these will help save my hands in a crash and even on a 90 degree day my hands were cool riding down the road. I learned to ride in these and trust them.
