love the gloves
I love them.... they feel great....well built... just not warm enough when it gets below the 50s... I will definitely buy another pair of these if/when they eventually wear out.

great gloves
Haven't used these for long, but the stitching is well done and the leather and armoring seem substantial. Good item for the price and the protection is outstanding.

Gloves run very small. I normally wear a size XL and after reading the reviews ordered the 2XL. I got the gloves and needed a 3XL. Had to re-order.

Very nice ...
You should know that these gloves run a little tight. One size larger should do the trick. I am still amazed by the technical aspect of these gloves. I first put them on in very hot weather thinking that I would sweat (the padding is substantial) but they felt cool. I could feel the air coming in preventing the perspiration. I was worried that on cold mornings I would freeze my hands. Nope. They are very warm. I don't get it, but I like it. Excellent buy.

The gloves are nice and seem pretty tough. They look used even though they're used. There are a lot of creases in the gloves and the tips are squared which makes it hard to do things with the gloves on. You're not going to be putting your helmet on. But it is thick leather so that will probably help. You may want to get a size smaller so that you have more to grow into. Side note: These are very uncomfortable when trying to wear them in, but once they're wore in they're a real big help and don't bother any. The best feature I think is the sticky palm grip. At first I didn't like it, but now I really like it.

Excellent gloves
Gloves and boots are something I'm really picky about. Went to a local store to try out a whole bunch of gloves, regardless of the brand or price, and ended up choosing these for the fit and comfort. From there went on MS site to see if they had 'em and they did at a better price, not to mention, available in all colors. I've only went out once with them so far, but I'm not worried about durability since Icon is a well established company. Free shipping always greatly appreciated. You have my vote.

Awesome!
Not one thing to complain about this glove. Plain and simple it's awesome! From fit, comfort, protection, you can’t find a better glove for this price. Definitely buy again!

I wrecked with these Gloves on
I agree with everyone saying the fit is tight for the first few days. After they break in the fit is fine.
I wrecked at 55 mph with these gloves on. The knuckles, palm pads, and extra wrist protection got shredded but left my hands functional and injury free! Any lesser glove would have left my wrists torn up. There are other gloves with knuckle and palm protection, but I'll be ordering these again to replace the ones I wrecked with.

ICON MERC GLOVES SWEET!
These gloves seem like a great deal for the price. They are comfortable, fit well and I think they would help protect your hands and wrists in an accident. Protecting your hands in the event of a fall ranks very high. Just think of all you do that requires the full use of your hands. At this price point I am extremely satisfied. The gloves were a little stiff when new, so worked leather conditioner into them and they just get better with each ride! I was borderline medium/large. Bought large and they fit perfect.

Merc gloves gauntlet
Gloves fit great and were very comfortable after a couple of days of breakin. Offer decent protection on back of hand.
Palm is very comfortable and offers good grip but may not offer good protection in a bad situation...don't intend to find out. Would be comfortable in temps from 35 deg up to about 75 then would be a little warm. Appear to be of decent quality. Very happy with purcase.

these gloves look great i bought the black version and i'm really happy with the way they look...as far as the fit;i have fairly small hands and the medium are really tight!i did try a pair before that must have been broken in cause the fit was really good,my previous gloves were Joe Rockets in medium also and the fit was excellent ,i think that when these one stretch a bit more they'll be perfect, overall i'm satisfied!

Great gloves
These gloves fit great and feel like they are well built. They go halfway up my forearm and wrap around the bottom of my jacket nicely. A little on the expensive side.

Great gauntlet style gloves
First off, I love these gloves. If you normally wear between a large and x-large in gloves, get the large. They will be a little tight for a few days, but they work in great. One thing worth noting is the fingertips are squared, so good luck grabbing your keys out of your pocket. I had to change them in for the short version due to the fact that my Icon Motorhead jacket has buttons right over the ball of my wrist for securing the sleeve together. That button would get pushed into my wrist no matter what I tried and it was unbearable. If your jacket has no buttons on the sleeves (velcro and zippers shouldn’t be a problem), then your good to go, these gloves are great.

The gloves feel and look great. The Only Problem is the fit is too small and has a problem covering up the bottom of my sleeve of my jacket. occasionally too tight around the wrist. break in made them more comfortable

Merc Gloves
I bought these gloves and loved them for their fit and price. The leather feels snug at first, but over time becomes extremely comfortable. These gloves are a great price for the protection they give. Lets face it, if you don't want your hands looking like ground beef after a typical crash, you should be buying $200 gloves, not these. They're great for around town and keeping the cold out, but I wouldn't recommend depending on them to keep your hands safe anywhere above 40mph.

Great gloves
I love the protection these gloves offer... the carbon fiber is real woven carbon fiber with a plastic coating over the CF mesh.
Like any Leather glove they fit a bit tight at first, but after a little bit of a break in they fit just like the Short Merc gloves do (I have a pair of both)

Attention getting glove
I will get the one somewhat negative thing out first. I ordered an extra large set. I didn't go by the size chart but by other reviews, and that my MX gloves are all XL. The left glove is fine, but my throttle glove seems tight in the finger tips and I have to keep adjusting my hand from time to time, if not my fingers get tingly. I would try a pair on first, or order one size up. Other than that, they are awesome. Lots of protection, great looks, and my hands have not sweat in them at all. Of course the hottest day I have rode so far in them is about 90. I would get another pair and recommend them, just a size up, at least for me.

Excelent stylling
These gloves look and fit great, except for the pinky. The pinky seems to be a little short and uncomfortable; I’m hoping it will stretch out a little as I break it in a little more. I recommend maybe getting one size larger than your normal for a perfect fit.

Can't be beat for the price
The only problem that I've had with these gloves (which I've ridden with for more than 14,000 miles in all weather) is the velcro. After about a year of use, the velcro started to fray at the edges, requiring a relatively simple repair. I'd strongly suggest getting a pair that are "too tight" at first. Leather loosens up a bit with use, and these gloves are no exception. Before picking up a set, go to a store and try them on. Grab the size that is very snug for your hands.

Great Protection
These gloves are comfortable and well made. I am optimistic that they will last a while. They offer a lot of great protection in the lower palm, knuckles, fingers and wrist/forearm area. The protection nearly extends half way up my forearm, awesome!

Excellent gloves
These gloves have some of the best protection for the money. The carbon fiber knuckles are fantastic. I customized my Ducati jacket and helmet with some stickers, these gloves have a little Italian flag. Great upper arm protection and quite comfortable. TRY THEM ON AT A STORE. Size chart runs a little small. Great buy, well worth the peace of mind your hands will be protected.

Poor Riding Gloves
I've owned these gloves for two seasons now. The design is great. They have plenty of features such as a full carbon fibre knuckle guard, vented and perforated leather construction, padded leather in critical areas a nice embossed outline. They also fit quite well and once they're worn in. Unfortunately they are very poorly built. They carbon fibre on one of my gloves has warped. How this has occured I am at a loss to say. The stitching that holds the gloves various pieces is starting to come apart. Now the last thing you want is your protective gear failing you during a crash. I have to replace mine soon and I will spend the extra money and purchase something far better. Too bad Icon doesn't build their gloves as well as their jackets. Perhaps I'm the only one here who has had problems with my pair but I will never purchase these gloves again, or any Icon gloves for that matter. I can not recommend this item.

Worth the $$$
I can't say enough about these gloves. I have tried several other companies for long gloves and these by far are the best fitting and best designed. The picture doesn’t show it but where the gauntlet part fits over the sleeve of your jacket, there is an adjustable flap with velcro to fit small to thick arms and over any type of jacket. Very well designed. Breathable, carbon fiber, lots of padding and under $100. This will be my second pair only because I lost one last summer. Best gloves I've ev

Perfect for this casual rider.
I owned a pair of these gloves in the short version (ICON Merc Short Glove). They fit so well that I decided to get the long version to fit my jacket better. At first I didn't think they were as comfortable as my short Mercs, but that was before I broke them in. Now they seem to be a second skin. With all the seams on the gloves it's amazing that they fit so comfortably and hold up so well. Icon has shown some great craftsmanship in the quality of these gloves.

These are very cleverly made gloves. While significantly armored, the articulation around the knuckles and palm is free of inhibitions. Nicely done.
