David Robinson Lorton,  VA Teknic Chicane Short Gloves I bought these short gloves because I was impressed with the full-length Teknic Chicane gloves. Quality is apparent but the design of the wrist closure tab sucks. Thick, embossed rubber-like tab is so stiff that it doesn't allow the Velcro "hook" underside to remain attached to its partner "loop" piece on the chassis of the glove. Result: Edge of tab protrudes so the Velcro hooks rub against the sleeve of your jacket, causing unnecessary wear of the jacket material. Also, elevated tab could easily become detached during a fall with subsequent potential loss of glove.
