Thumbs are a bit cold
After reading reviews of thumbs being a bit cold, I agree. Looking closely I noticed that the heating element for the thumbs easily gets pushed to the inside of the thumb which then makes the outside of the thumb cold when exposed to cold air. These can be moved around gently. Also noticed these elements on the thumbs should cover higher up on the thumb instead of 1/2 way. This would resolve the cold thumb issue. The rest of my hands are nice and toasty.

Poor value
I bought Tourmaster Synergy heated fabric gloves for a November motorcycle trip from Baton Rouge to Washington DC on which all mornings were frosty, and I generally started each day before first light. They don't keep the thumbs warm, though they keep the outside of the hand quite warm. Seems the temperature declines as power goes from the outside of the hand to the thumb. I've heard a similar complaint from another popular brand, so this may be an industry problem.

Tour Master - Synergy Heated Gloves
The fit of the textile version is a little snug compared to the leather version. The textile version has out preformed the leather tremendously. After a few use of the leather style, the heating performance declined while the textile has continued to provide comfort at the lowest setting around 32 degrees. As an older rider with arthritis issues in the hands…the textile version has me riding longer in the riding season!!!

Worth the money
I now enjoy those cold morning rides. The gloves warm both top and bottom and the temp controller buttons are large enough to find with both gloves on. One thing I find annoying is the wires run under a couple of the fingers making it uncomfortable to squeeze but this is minor. For the price you won't find a better pair of gloves.

I bought these gloves on a recommendation of a friend. I really enjoy getting off the bike and being able to move my fingers. Northern California isn't as cold as the Midwest but it does get cold. The biggest problem with these gloves is the wiring. To remove the right glove without removing the wiring you have to pull the controller from its pouch which isn't the easiest. I've been looking for and easy to connect 3 wire plug to fix this but until then I will enjoy the warmth. The 3 temp settings are a nice touch, I used high once but only for a short time, medium should take care of anything around here.

These gloves are great. I have electric grip warmers already installed on my bike but they just can't get the job done on cold mornings going to work when the temperature is on the 20's. With these gloves my hands and fingers stay plenty warm. No more stinging fingers when I get to work or waiting for my hands and fingers to thaw out. One thing I did different with my gloves was to use a "Y" cord and run it to one side of my heat troller for fine tuning the temperature of the gloves and my jacket liner. A simple twist of a knob or two and you can ride in total comfort, even in the dead of winter. Your "unheated" friends will be envious of you as they riding down the road shivering. You definitely won't regret buying and using this product.
