BUY SIZE UP
I wear a large in almost every glove , I don’t have a really big hand, but I found the large to be way to small, XL fit tight also, but stretched out and fit better now, beautiful glove, nice finish, worth the $ just 1 complaint the pinky and thumb are too long, it gets annoying – motorcycle-superstore has EXCELLENT service look forward to buying more stuff

nice gloves
Gloves fit and wear great. Love the way they look as well. Not a cold weather glove but pretty comfortable at 55 or above.

comfortable, durable, not enough protection
May seem they are too tight at first but the leather is top grade and will mold to your hands after a bit. They don't really protect your fingers as much as I'd like and the palm area. So a 75-80% protection on these gloves. Also 90-95% comfort and improvement in throttle/clutch/brake grip and response.

as advertised
Most of the reviews on this glove are quite accurate. Glove fits perfectly for me (about 1/2 size up). The finish is quite good and I have had no running dye on the orange model. Performance is very good and I feel better protected from my previous short gloves. Construction looks like it will last, been using for over 1 mo now. Plus I love the way they look.

Disappointing
I ordered a 2XL. I couldn't even get my hand in the glove without considerable effort. Once in, the 4 fingers fit perfect. The thumb however is about a half inch too short, and causes numbness within 5 minutes of riding. The palm area is so tight that it kills whatever feeling I still had from the thumb. Even after 2000+ miles of riding and several applications of saddle soap and leather oil. These gloves are just not made for large hands. Very disappointed.

Good gloves EXCEPT
These gloves fit great, the material used is extremely comfortable to touch, the finish is good as well, the glove doesn't appear to be a cheap knock off like some of them do, but for this price, that's obvious. The only thing I can really complain about are the safety features. I'm definitely not gonna feel protected in case of a fall, the only sliders on a glove are the ones on your knuckles, the glove is very soft and unsupportive, the only thing stopping you from completely rolling it into a little ball are the plastic sliders on knuckles. Everything else feels unprotective and too soft, I'm missing some sliders on the palm and the thumb, BUT the purpose I bought them for- riding around town in the summer, they should be fine.

After a year of riding.
After a season of riding I thought I’d leave a review. I’ve put these through 4k miles of riding this summer, one of those days was in a down-pore. Fit was good I did go one size smaller because leather tends to stretch after break-in and sweating. Within the first week of riding the "GPX" on the palms wore off which wasn't a big deal. Other than that they have lasted pretty well till the last few weeks of the riding season. The cuffs where the Velcro tab attaches started to separate as well the pointer figure on my throttle hand. As I said I have been caught in the rain and I do ride aggressively so overall I’d say that I’m not too disappointed as they made it through the year. I may pick up a new pair for next season unless something new comes better at that price point from A*.

GPX Gloves are really nice
I recommend ordering to what size your hand is normally, I found that ordering a size up, the gloves felt too big and loose. The craftmanship is pretty solid, but I don’t know how long the gloves will last. I say a good year or two. Really nice safety features, and is also very comfortable. Although for other brands you can get a full gauntlet for this price.

I love A-stars
Why is it no one else can make a pair of gloves as well as Alpinestars, except maybe Dainese? Is it because they have most of the best riders? I love the blend of GP tech and streetfighter/supermoto simplicity. They do fit a little small, but they also break in pretty well with a few hours in the saddle. They aren't cheap, but if they keep me from hamburgering my hands and breathe as well as they do for being so protective I can't complain.
