Pete Inverness,  FL Great street gloves I live in an area with few stores that sell quality MC gear, so I ordered several pairs of gloves online, one after the other, looking for something great. Bingo! These gloves are well made as far as quality of materials and stitching, but the sizing is inconsistent. I wear a size large, and bought size large gloves. They were a better fit than the X Large size, but they are pretty tight. The only quirk is that the thumb on the right hand glove is about an eighth of an inch shorter than the left. This is stretching out and will not be a problem. Despite this minor inconvenience, the gloves are still better than all the other non-Alpinestars options at anywhere near the price. I highly recommend these gloves. You may have to stretch them or exchange a pair, but they are hands down the best out there. Keep in mind that they are STREET gloves, not track gloves (hence, 2 of the 4's in the ratings). I did read someone's concern about the gloves not having wrist straps. That would be an improvement, but my experience is that if the gloves are the proper size (snug), the Velcro at the gauntlet is enough to properly secure these gloves. I would not hesitate to buy these again, and highly recommend them.

Dan Carmichaels,  PA Brilliant gloves! Another fantastic pair of gloves from Alpinestars. The gloves fit VERY snug at first. After about 400-500 miles (and a few rain showers) the gloves felt as though I’ve had them for years, perfect fit. All stitching seems to be in order, and the leather is good quality.

tim rendle niagara falls,  NY SP-2 Gloves Decent gloves for the price. They are good for warm weather riding but they are not designed for the cold. The fit is a little small and I would go up a size if you are unsure.

David Schlicht Spokane,  WA Alpinestars - SP-2 Gloves Alpinestars sizing chart is way off... order two sizes big if you want them to fit. After re-ordering them one was smaller than the other by about 1/4 inch. I had to send them back for a refund. I will not buy any Alpinestars gloves in the future.

I hope I can buy another one for my brothers' birthday gift because they are really comfortable. Blake Providence,  RI Good fit. Hot. Color bleeds a little. They're holding up decent. I'm a new rider, nothing else to compare to. It’s kind of funny that the sides of my fingers get stained red for a while (red/black) gloves.
