Alpinestars SP-2 glove has been developed to give improved performance and protection, while retaining style and practicality.

  • Full-grain leather construction with synthetic suede palm with leather reinforcements for improved grip, comfort, protection, and reduced weight
  • Carbon fiber knuckle protection, profiled for fit and impact dissipation
  • Micro-injected finger knuckle protection with split layer construction for flex comfort
  • Leather reinforced thumb and EVA padded wrist protection
  • Rubber pad inserts to protect palm from abrasion
  • Extended wrist protection
  • Velcro® cuff wrist closure with TPR logo on upper wrist
  • TPR (thermoplastic rubber) logos and details with printed palm logo to improve comfort

Dan Carmichaels,  PA Brilliant gloves! Another fantastic pair of gloves from Alpinestars. The gloves fit VERY snug at first. After about 400-500 miles (and a few rain showers) the gloves felt as though I’ve had them for years, perfect fit. All stitching seems to be in order, and the leather is good quality.

Lisa Houston,  TX Needs wrist strap Everything about these gloves is great EXCEPT there is no wrist strap. These gloves won't protect your hand if they easily come off during a crash!

tim rendle niagara falls,  NY SP-2 Gloves Decent gloves for the price. They are good for warm weather riding but they are not designed for the cold. The fit is a little small and I would go up a size if you are unsure.

David Schlicht Spokane,  WA Alpinestars - SP-2 Gloves Alpinestars sizing chart is way off... order two sizes big if you want them to fit. After re-ordering them one was smaller than the other by about 1/4 inch. I had to send them back for a refund. I will not buy any Alpinestars gloves in the future.

I hope I can buy another one for my brothers' birthday gift because they are really comfortable. Blake Providence,  RI Good fit. Hot. Color bleeds a little. They're holding up decent. I'm a new rider, nothing else to compare to. It’s kind of funny that the sides of my fingers get stained red for a while (red/black) gloves.

James Feagin Hagerstown,  MD Bought for track use Got these to use when track riding. A little tight and stiff at first, but they are loosening up nicely. Would have liked to see a little extra protection for the pinky, but otherwise the gloves have all the features I was looking for. For the price, don't think you can find any better.
