alpinestars gp plus gloves
I bought these gloves as a gift for my brother. They seemed true to size for an XL and were a great deal on closeout. 2008 model on closeout was a good price and would recommend again.

I agree... they run small
I have finally had the chance to break these gloves in after about 250 miles. They do feel much more comfortable than as at first with, as would be expected. I realize that everyone’s' hands are different and no mass produced glove will fit... well like a glove. I believe that my hand is a true medium (according to my last pair of gloves and the majority that I have tried on).
Bottom line: For the $100 I purchased them at, I am very happy and would do it again.. they even match my Ducati.

Alpinestars GP Plus Gloves
These are some great gloves. I bought them because of the review on RideNow. The only gloves that rated better for safety cost over $300. These are quite the deal. They feel well made. They fit a bit smaller than other gloves I've had.

They do not fit well to my hand
These gloves did not fit well to my hand, but their quality and finish is very good. Also, in this price, I would prefer to have carbon and not plastic parts.

Great glove.
A little pricey but a great glove. As with most leather gloves they were pretty stiff right out of the box but started to loosen quickly. Gives great wrist support and I especially like the padding in the palm. Also a great looking glove if that matters to you.

Nice gloves
i bought these gloves and a pair of boots. These gloves rate much better than the boots.
They have a nice snug comfortable fit. The two outer fingers being held together is a bit different. But, I can see the safety of it. The only downfall is the armor is plastic. For a $160.00 glove I expected at least some Kevlar.

Nice design, good protection, slightly odd fit
Definitely try these before you buy; I usually take an XL but take an XXL in these. Some fingers are just the right length and others have room to spare. But they break in quickly and have turned out generally pretty comfortable. The gauntlet fits well over a jacket cuff without being overly long. Most importantly there's a good amount of armor, padding and double layering of fabric in the key areas. I'd buy these again.

nice gloves
I have been using the SP1's for the past year, until I couldn’t take the discomfort any longer. So if went ahead and purchased the GP Plus, and these are much more comfortable. Still not as comfortable as some Joe Rocket's that I’ve tried, but I am partial to Alpinestars, so I live with some mild discomfort! Overall, I like these gloves very much.

I think I'm getting use to them
At first the gloves felt restrictive, probably from not being use to the finger bridge. These gloves definitely feel safer than the cheaper gloves I'm use to. My hands felt fatigued when first riding with these but as they broke in this went away. The ventilation is good and can be felt as higher speeds. My only complaint is that the leather on the palm of my left glove seems to be wearing away already.

Alpinestar GP Gloves
I have tried wearing these on two separate days and they just don't work for me. While they felt great in the garage and I like the hinge protection features, after 1 hour of riding my hands hurt so bad I had to stop and put on my old gloves. I normally wear large and purchased these in XL and they still bind my palms and fingers in the ride position. I am going to try and return them.
