good but not as good as expected
I'm commuting 30 miles everyday, and its now about 30 degree. After 15 minutes my fingertips get really cold. Other than that, there are really comfortable, easy to ride with, and good overall.

Wind? What wind?
I picked up a pair of these Alpinestar WR-2s, because I was looking for some waterproof/insulated gloves for the fall into early winter, and these seemed like they'd work... I haven't tested them for waterproofness, but I don't feel the wind at all while wearing these gloves. I've ridden comfortably down to around 40F. After 30-40 minutes, the cold does finally work its way through the glove, but seems that would happen w/ just about any glove...As mentioned in previous reviews, they do run small -- I ordered 1 size larger than I normally would get based on previous reviews, and even so, the fingers are somewhat tight.

Alpinestars-WR-2 Gore-Tex Gloves
Very nice gloves in cold weather, about 35-40 Deg F on highway very warm indeed. Have not had any wet riding with these gloves as of yet. Sure they will be nice. Expensive but so far worth the money.

WR-2 Waterproof but not Warm
Bought the gloves for fall/winter daily commuting 35 miles on interstate. These gloves did not perform as well as expected in cold weather (under 40 degrees). Gloves are made nice, fit comfortably and are waterproof even in heavy rains. Downsides: temperatures under 40 and hands get cold within 15-20 minutes at highway speeds; In rainy weather glove material does not allow you to wipe visor with any effect. Overall the gloves are not worth the price for cold weather riding.

Great product, does the job right on
These gloves are definitely well made, they also hold up great in cooler weather. Haven't worn them when it's freezing out yet, but I have ridden at highway speeds in them when its around 40-45 and it was fine. They look and feel durable. They are a great glove for the fall and winter seasons, and are mostly worth the price. I wish they had some openings that could be manipulated in hotter weather though to get some airflow.

The Work For Me
I bought these gloves because I needed a cold weather riding glove. I've been pretty satisfied with the Alpinestars products I've bought so far so I decided to go with an Alpinestars product for this occasion. These gloves took some getting used to but they keep my hands at a decent temperature for rides above 30 degrees. I'm curious to see how well the WR-3 gloves hold up to the cold weather.

Very Happy
I was a little skeptical of what I would get out of a Goretex glove that was running $100. I wanted a glove for the cold winter days (between 30 and 40). The gloves work perfectly for that application. I rode 120 miles on the slab in 35f, and my hands were fine. I didn’t feel the wind on them, even at 80mph. A little on the expensive side however you pay for what you get, and these gloves are great. Very happy.

Decent Gloves
These gloves were expensive, otherwise I would have given them perfect fives. I was expecting something warmer for such an expensive glove. I guess I really need heated gloves. Anything in the 30's and my fingers get cold after 20 minutes. I was hoping these would be good for an hour at 30 degrees. Definitely not bad gloves, just expensive.
