Ron Raymond Richmond,  NH Gloves For the price I have no idea about the durability yet since these gloves are so new. However, they do not keep my hands warm at all in colder weather. I have been using my less costly ($30 vs $100) so called cheapo gloves to keep my hands warm riding my motorcycle. If they kept my hands warm I would have no complaints, other than the high price.

DP new york,  NY solid gloves love this gloves, i had another set of alpinestars gloves (s-mx air carbon) and got these ones for the colder weather. They do the trick, comfortable, good fit, and not too thick so that you can still keep a good grip on the throttle.

Paul Lafayette,  IN Fantastic Gloves These gloves kept my hands comfortable at 30 - 35 F, and actually get a little warm if it gets up to 45F. Block wind great. Excellent dexterity for such warm gloves.

Jeffrey Pleasanton,  CA Buy the heated gloves and skip these. The cost is too close. I bought these gloves and have to admit, I have some buyer's remorse. For 100.00 I could have just pitched in 16 more bucks and bought Firstgear's heated gloves. If you want my opinion DO THIS and save your money. Yes, they are decent gloves but if the cost is that close then you might as well get some plug ins. I ride a BMW K1200GT with heated grips and after an hour and a half in 37 degrees no conventional glove seems to keep me completely warm. Go for the option of added heat and be happy in the long run. Trust me, I am spending another 100+ to buy the heated ones.

James Lowell,  AR Cold weather gloves These gloves are good for about 30-40 minutes at 25-30 degrees. If you need 25 degrees or less I would recommend shifting to your 12volt electrical system for heat.

David Washington DC,  DC good but not as good as expected I'm commuting 30 miles everyday, and its now about 30 degree. After 15 minutes my fingertips get really cold. Other than that, there are really comfortable, easy to ride with, and good overall.

Stefan Wenham,  MA Wind? What wind? I picked up a pair of these Alpinestar WR-2s, because I was looking for some waterproof/insulated gloves for the fall into early winter, and these seemed like they'd work... I haven't tested them for waterproofness, but I don't feel the wind at all while wearing these gloves. I've ridden comfortably down to around 40F. After 30-40 minutes, the cold does finally work its way through the glove, but seems that would happen w/ just about any glove...As mentioned in previous reviews, they do run small -- I ordered 1 size larger than I normally would get based on previous reviews, and even so, the fingers are somewhat tight.

Tom Schwartz Lskeville,  NY Alpinestars-WR-2 Gore-Tex Gloves Very nice gloves in cold weather, about 35-40 Deg F on highway very warm indeed. Have not had any wet riding with these gloves as of yet. Sure they will be nice. Expensive but so far worth the money.

Greg Olympia,  WA WR-2 Waterproof but not Warm Bought the gloves for fall/winter daily commuting 35 miles on interstate. These gloves did not perform as well as expected in cold weather (under 40 degrees). Gloves are made nice, fit comfortably and are waterproof even in heavy rains. Downsides: temperatures under 40 and hands get cold within 15-20 minutes at highway speeds; In rainy weather glove material does not allow you to wipe visor with any effect. Overall the gloves are not worth the price for cold weather riding.
