Alpinestars - WR-3 Gore-Tex Gloves
These are good gloves above 40 degrees, the tips of your fingers are the most vulnerable area. For the price I expected a better fit, order a size larger.

Ski gloves are warmer
I purchased these gloves for the ride from Houston to Daytona in early March to be prepared for temps below 50F. They are great for temps between 50 and 65 and water-resistant gortex worked well. For temperatures below 50, especially in the low 40's, they didn't live up to their name. My fingers froze and I would have preferred my ski gloves.

My friend is very pleased with these gloves.
I bought these gloves as a gift for someone who now rides his bike more than he drives his truck. The one discomfort in chilly weather was his hands - with these gloves, he can now ride in weather with the temp's in the 30's (we don't get much colder here) in total comfort. I don't know about the durability yet, but everything else about the gloves meets or beats expectation!

Good stuff
I have large hands and ordered the largest size. I am finding them tough to break in. Clearly great quality. Warm. But I wish they were a little larger. Order at least 1 size over what you think you need.

Alpinestars - WR3
The gloves are sized a little small. I ordered the next size up from mine and they were a little snug but are breaking in nicely. If you wear glove liners you better plus size 2. The finish is super as I expected. I have not had the opportunity to ride for an extended period in cold weather (below 40 degrees) yet but they have felt comfortable. The cuffs (gauntlet) are a little small and the straps are pretty much useless, too narrow and short for gloved fingers. Overall they are an excellent glove although a little pricey.

Well made gloves
Sized a little on the small side but very well made high quality gloves. The cuff could be a little larger for ease of getting over your winter jacket but they are warm in the temperatures we get in TX. Not tried in wet weather yet.

Alpinestars WR3
Nice gloves, great features, quality workmanship (not sure about durability at this point) little short on the thumb/finger length though, I ordered 2XL and it should have been 3XL

Alpinestars WR3 gloves
This are very nice gloves. Fit and finish is very good. Not like some other gloves I had to send back due to arrival with loose stitching. I only ride about 20 min to from work/school in 25 deg weather w/pretty stiff wind and just the very tips of fingers started to get a little chilly. These gloves are great - to damned expensive but, buy quality cry once, buy junk and cry every time you use it.

Excellent
Seemed like a lot to spend on a pair of gloves, but well worth the price. Have these combined with grip warmers. Awesome

Alpinestars WR-3 Gore-Tex Gloves - Look no further!
I was looking for a really nice pair of gloves that were 100% Waterproof. When I found this pair online they looked perfect. I almost did not order them because of the high price. But after looking at Gloves in the lower price range, I caved in and ordered the higher priced Alpinestars. These gloves are outstanding! The quality is off the charts. Now I understand about the price. Worth every penny. If you are hesitating because of the price. Don't! I ordered the size I usually wear, and they fit perfect. Should be great during cooler/cold weather as well.

Check your size
These are great gloves, high quality. However, like other Alpinestars, double-check your size. I've found they run a bit small. I bought large based on the size chart, but they're really tight. Go a size up.

warm, dry, comfortable
Ordered the wr-1,wr-2, and wr-3 all at the same time so I could compare first hand. All were very high quality and did the job respective of their price, obviously the higher the price the warmer the glove so I bit the bullet and got the wr-3 to be the one “all purpose” gloves I can throw in my saddlebags on my cross country trips and know I’ll be covered. Waterproof and not bulky at all for the warmth provided, highly recommended. Spend the money and get high quality gloves, you won't be disappointed!

Very Very nice warm glove
I expect these Alpinestars gloves will last a long time as my warm weather gloves are. Very warm good fit and quality material.

Nice Glove
I was looking for something that would keep my hands relatively warm in the 40's and 50's, that wasn't too bulky, and appeared to provide good crash protection. I have no fairing protection for my hands but these gloves do the trick above 40 and I don't find them too bulky/cumbersome. I think the fingers in Alpinestars' tend to be a little short, which is why I only gave the fit a '4.' However, I have been very pleased with these and would buy them again.

WR-3 Gore-Tex Gloves
As I just got them a few weeks ago, I cannot rate the durability, but they are constructed very well and look to last many, many winters. I have gotten slammed with a good rain coming home from work once already, and these gloves definitely kept my hands warm and dry. As far as very cold riding, I think a pair of heated gloves would be better, but I have grip heaters installed on my bike, so =)~
