A-Stars Balaclava
Awesome product from A-Stars. I've worn this in weather down in the 30's. It kept me warm and i couldnt feel any wind at all. Although a little pricey, its well worth it.

great value!
I bought this product to ride out to Maryland for about a 5hr trip and boy was I happy I got it. It fit snug but very comfortable. The neck area is water proof and thick enough that I felt no wind or cold the entire ride. It also helped cut down wind from sucking up into my helmet, I recommend buying this product one hundred percent.

The A'stars Touring Balaclava is a cool piece of gear. I do have a couple issues with it. The opening between the neck and the head is a little tight for my melon! It fits great once it's on, but pulling it on/off my head is a little bit of a fight. That opening could be a little bigger. The neck section has two layers so it's like having a built in neck gaiter. I think the only way I'd improve it would be a Velcro strip across the back of the neck (less chance of an air leak)...so you could pull the mask forward over your head. That way I wouldn't have to pull the entire mask on and off as much.

Excellent quality and fit, just what A stars is known for. The price was well worth it. This is a piece of gear every serious motorcycle or snowmobile enthusiast should own. I have had several types through the years and this beats them all hands down.

Works Great, Fits less than great.
This balaclava definitely keeps the cold and rain out of my helmet and off of my neck. So far it has made riding possible down to 30F. My only complaint is that it doesn't fit tight to my face. So when I put my helmet on it pulls it out of position so I have to adjust it so it is where I want it after my helmet is on. It's also a bit pricey for what it is.

It's OK
I was really excited to receive the balaclava. Unfortunately, I think it is a bit expensive for how lightweight the material is, especially over the head. It is definitely designed with a full face helmet in mind as I tried wearing it with my half helmet and it did not keep me warm at all. Also, the "waterproof" material just really isn't after a 40 minute ride in the rain. I also noticed that the material once stretched over one's head stayed that way pretty much and the hole around the face no longer fit tightly. The stitching around the nose came undone in about 2 days too. I still use it, but only with my full face helmet and I have to "tuck" the material around the padding in the helmet to keep it from being loose around my face.

This will DEFINATELY keep you warm. Fleece lining is a nice bonus, even has a drawstring around the collar to block out air. Face area could've been designed a little better; nose and mouth part doesn't like to stay in place sometimes, even in the helmet. However, it's still not cold enough where I live yet to have tested it extensively. A very good buy though if you know you’re going to need it.
